This guy is sounding like a Metal Gear villain.
I have a message from another time...Good evening, everybody. :) May the Force be with you.
How are you all doing tonight?
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Time for the grand finale of Ninja Kamui.
The end of the ninja has come.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Okay. Everybody relax, I'm here.
I went to see The Phantom Menace last night with some friends. Still not great, but way less annoying than I remember. There's nothing so bad about Jake Lloyd's acting that it even comes close to excusing what those loser Star Wars fans did to him. He did okay for a kid. Other performances in the movie are far worse.

Doing fantastic!
This whole show comes off as a Spiritual Successor to Metal Gear.

RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.I consulted a lawyer about trying to keep my job after reasonable accommodations were denied, and he said it wasn't worth fighting (it would have cost me $5,000 to retain him). I asked out a coworker who is looking for someone to marry, and she says I'm too old.
-sees the herd of pigs being loaded onto the plane-
Nice to see they let Hayao Miyazaki direct a scene.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Annnnd that's it for Joseph.
Time to deal with Yamaji.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Great fight scene.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. To my knowledge, yes. Funimation had its own cable channel and Syfy used to have its own dedicated anime block (Saturday Anime, then Ani-Monday), but those were a good 10-15 years ago and were sadly already in decline even before everyone decided to get aboard the streaming train.
It makes the Toonami revival surviving this long and surpassing the original incarnation's run by quite a bit all the more impressive.
All the more reason to finish up that post-S1 finale review/afterthoughts piece I've been sitting on for months. orz
And in light of this news, wouldn't it have made more sense for the upcoming two weeks of Ninja Kamui marathons to instead be reruns of MawS' S1? A refresher certainly wouldn't hurt.
Write me down as "cautiously optimistic." S1 had (IMO) issues balancing its A and B plots as is, so adding more to everything already carried over could easily lead to a Bleach-esque situation where a lot of new moving parts get introduced only to for a handful to receive any proper focus and conclusion.
Maybe the writers have found their groove, though. Or maybe we're going to leave things off on yet another Sequel Hook for a potential S3, only to do this whole dance again in a year or two. Who knows?
We've been making Revengeance jokes since the first episode, so it's only fitting.
He even showed a scene of photos of armies for his monologue
I have a message from another time...I need to actually watch the finale of season 1 of Superman. I missed it.
I have a message from another time...ALEX REALLY IS LEX LUTHOR! I KNEW IT!
I have a message from another time...Though since Clark and Lois are now together that means they might spread more focus on other characters now.
Jimmy looks to be doing some interesting stuff in the trailer.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Sara: This show is extremely brutal.
Is it more or less than the other famous ninja anime, Ninja Scroll?
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.“Keep your own god. In fact, this would be a good time to pray to him. For I beheld Satan as he fell from Heaven. LIKE LIGHTNING!”
I have a message from another time...RULES OF NATURE
Higan has finally become...THE NINJA KAMUI!
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Theme Music Power-Up, go!
@ slim: Ironically enough (and I'll touch upon this in my review should it ever see the light of day), I actually think S1 rushed through the buildup of their relationship, but it is what it is.
So long as they can add some more substance to their dynamics and prevent them from suffering the accursed Shipping Bed Death now that they're together, I guess I won't have anything to nag about on that front.
@ Dem: It's brutal, but it's not that brutal.
Also doesn't have gems like "Burn in your golden hell!"

Oh man, that’s cool. Standard cloth-clad ninjas disabling the Gusoku gear to show how far gone the organization was, and how the other guy is working on the cause of peace.

I have a message from another time...Huh...that ending felt kinda abrupt.
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon. That’s a neat ending. A guy who was looking to die for his revenge ended up living because of the new reason to live that he found.
I have a message from another time...Show only had 10 episodes, it is what it is. Poor guys could only make do with what they were given.

TOONAMI, I HAVE RETURNED!
