Fan-Project: BlazBlue X Avengers - Decide the roster!

Wow, I'm not even sure this belongs in here, but since it's not Fan Fic but a fan art project maybe it does. I'm still so new to this place so if any mods decide to move this to the appropriate place, please do so.

Anyways, In the Video Game section of the forum, there is a thread called Build a Fighting Game character, where , well you guessed it, you can create character builds for fighting games, even imaginary ones.

Anyways, my friend Chris X made a crossover between Blaz Blue and Marvel Superheroes by letting Ghost Rider and Captain America be guest characters. In Cap's storyline, he winds up forming a team of Avengers out of the heroes of Blaz Blue. Now I'm a fan of Cap and I love Blaz Blue. My favorite characters are Bang Shishigami and his disciples of LOVE AND JUSTICE, The Bang Brigade (Carl Clover, His sister Nirvana Ada Clover and Taokaka). So the possibilities of my two favorite characters joining forces for For LOVE AND FINAL JUSTICE!! was enough to spark a flame in my artist spirit. So I wanted to draw that lineup.

But then when i finished drawing Bang and Cap, I realized I didn't had a line-up worthy of Avengers

That's right, on the deviation page , my deviantArt journal and this thread on TV TROPES (NOTE: You have to be a member to participate on deviantArt), you can make suggestions for the roster to join Cap and Bang. This is open to all fans of Blaz Blue and the Avengers. I only have a couple of rules though:

1) There is only slots for 4 characters left. You have to choose 2 from Blaz Blue and 2 from Marvel Comics. It would be helpful to give good reasons why.

2) No villains. You may think Relius Clover is a CHAR and Terumi/Hazama is sexy, but no dice. Same with Arakune. Same with the Murakumos, no matter how cute they are. Mu-12 is an exception because she's a package deal with Noel. Tsubaki Yayoi and Litchi Faye-Ling are given a pass, even if they're working for the NOL at this point.

3) Only Avengers from current teams. That means No Dark Avengers, No Classic Avengers and characters[[Fantastic Four from]] other teams are limited to Beast, Storm, Wolverine, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, Thing and Spider-Man.

Use The Other Wiki for roster lists.

2. New Avengers
3. Secret Avengers
4. Young Avengers
5. Avengers Academy

4) Any costume from any media is accepted. That means the looks from the cartoon, MAHVEL BAYBEE or the upcoming movie are all cool with me. Same goes with using the concept designs and alternate looks of the BB cast. But no alternate colors.

5) This is just a suggestion thread. Not a request thread. Final roster line-up will made by me and drawn by me. I tend to draw in a cartoony style, so if you're not a fan of my art, you might as well not bother suggesting. Critique is appreciated though.

In the end, depending on which entries I liked, I'll give credit for their suggestions on my deviantart page (unless requested not to). The ones who help out a lot thought, will get a free headsketch of their favorite Avenger or BB character

Not familiar with the current Avengers roster, and I'm basing this off the upcoming movie, but...

Marvel Comics

1. 1 Thor: I've liked Thor for a long time. He's got ODIN'S BEER and an awesome beard. And Makoto would remind him of the squirrel who climbed the World Tree.
2. 2 Black Widow: Mainly because I want to see how she deals with Taokaka and her love of meat buns.

Blaz Blue

1. 1 Makoto: She strives to protect her friends and do what's right for those close to her. Perhaps she burns with the flames of justice that all good Avengers strive for?
2. 2 Taokaka: Because all good superhero teams need a boob-obsessed, meat bun eating, hyperactive catgirl with a need to protect those that are close to her! Also, I want her to molest the Marvel girls. She'd have a lot of fun there.

Perhaps I can break the rule a little? Just 1 Marvel, and the rest are Blaz Blue.

Anyway:

Blaz Blue side:

• Litchi Faye-Ling: Bang would love her in the roster. Besides, it's not like Cap is not accepting villains that reform or has sympathy points.
• Taokaka, Carl & Ada Clover: The rest of your Bang Brigade, plus they'd love to have Litchi on their side.

Marvel side:

• Iron Man: Tony is Steve's numero uno Ho Yay partner. Plus with good technology, he could try to solve Ada's problem. And imagine him, being the playboy he is, hitting on Litchi and make hilarity with Bang.

Wrong. The title of Steve Rogers numero uno Ho Yay partner belongs to BUCCCCKKKYYYYY

Anyways, It seems I bit off more than I can chew with this project. People doesn't seem to respond to this as much as I would think. Maybe I'll give until the end of the month.

I'm still not sure about a full line up but I would only pick Noel for her IHS so then I can get away with this line:

Loki: I have an army

Kokonoe: We have a godslayer

Oh yes, DEFINITE ADDITION, Kokonoe as their handler.... with an eyepatch and black leather coat.

While in my idea Cap would welcome Kokonoe, I'm not sure he'd let her be the handler. I mean, does Nick Fury tolerate nukes?

He'd tolerate making deals with Dr. Doom, screwing his own team to better control them, manipulating heroes to take down a dictatorship, using a handful of children to take down a global conspiracy and once or twice, he'd let a city fall if it served the greater good.

Yeah, Nick is no stranger to Drastic Measures. The issue with Kokonoe is that she does so for personal reasons.

But I ask you, who is better suited for this position (besides a certain evil troll we know and love so well)? Well maybe Jubei, but he's more The Obi-Wan than a team leader. Kokonoe gets shit done, no questions....

Kokonoe: An I don't care if his momma there, his gran-momma, innocent bystanders, little kids, babysitters, bill collectors, WHATEVAH, I leave his whole block filled wit hot brass if I have to, and you know why?! CAUSE I JUST DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!!

Well due to some ...um "creative differences" between myself and the person who posted above me, I think I'm gonna end this contest early. Nobody seems to give a rats ass about this anyways. The last thing that I could try is putting this up on Facebook, but 1) I don't wanna embarrass myself in front of a hundred strangers and 2) if Deviant Art didn't like it, than there's no way Facebook will take it.

Guess it was just a concept that worked on paper, who knows?

I want to thank the MB for his help on this project; even if I don't wind up drawing the whole project, I do owe you a head sketch. PM me to see who you want me to draw.

Oh and Litchi Guy, if you're still around, know that you shouldn't take everything you hear on Game FAQS seriously...or at all even. May I suggest a fresh start?
