Looks like that's because the hosting site (Smack Jeeves) is down, but there's another website that has the comic and it looks like you can get chapter and page numbers from the original links.
Original Life has a massive number of example links, many without much in the way of context. (Like, a lot. Used as sinkholes. Sometimes two or three words in a row.)
They all currently redirect to the author's Patreon, which has the "Over 18" age-gate popup. It's not clear from context which pages are actually NSFW/SFW.
More ZCE, more dead links, more 404 issues and "The site configured at this address does not contain the requested file"...
And ZCE to boot.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI found an example on the Gratuitous English page that relies on a now-private video:
KOMINGU SUUN DAKUPO! note
"How could you stop an idea?" (Check out my troper wall if you can!)I'd comment that out. I also found an archived link to the video https://web.archive.org/web/20190927195357/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaVPCTXIBeE&gl=US&hl=en

Happy New Year!... this thread doesn't get a lot of activity, it seems.
Creator. Some Fool FP - only four tropes, three which are ZCE relying on links. Safe to cut?

Practically every link on AwesomeMusic.Super Mario Odyssey is failing to open, probably due to interference by Nintendo. Should I replace the links, or just remove them?
online since 1993 | huge retrocomputing and TV nerd | lee4hmz.info (under construction) | heapershangout.comSpeaking of which, should we remove links to YouTube for other Awesome Music pages?
Many of the links break because copyright holders are becoming strict.
It would be great if TV Tropes had its own repository of music, just like how it has video examples.

Kirby is awesome.I think that would probably get us sued.
TV Tropes can just use the first 30 seconds of music instead. Fandom (formerly Wikia) and the NIWA wikis all use the first 30 seconds instead of the entire music to avoid lawsuits.
This way, even the first 30 seconds can be used instead of YouTube links that get removed also due to fear of lawsuits.

Kirby is awesome.I'd rather just remove the youtube links if tracks aren't released officially, because we're not a playlist site.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupCreator.Haryadhi Gee's examples rely on weblinks, perhaps a little too much.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportA general question -
Web Links Are Not Examples also says this about internal links:
Any trope example that relies entirely on getting readers to visit a separate webpage for an explanation should be (a) expanded from the linked content , (b) pulled from the article and brought to its respective discussion page, or, if this poses a problem throughout a significant portion of a page's examples list, (c) brought up in this Special Efforts thread.
And in the same way, Parallel Porn Titles (now a NRLEP trope), has a long list of the porn titles themselves, each of which is potholed to the original work.
So either readers are expected to know the reference offhand, or they're expected to follow the pothole link to get the joke.
Does this need a rewrite?
There's a lot of weblink overreliance on Webcomic.Cross Time Cafe. I even commented out one that combines it with tropeslashing.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThere are quite a few cases over at xkcd. I could comment them out, but I'm currently doing some TRS cleanup.

Many examples at Mokepon link to comic pages that aren't opening to me.
