I stopped reading Spinnerette and took it out of my favorites folder. It feels great, like some huge annyoing wieght has been taken off my shoulders. Thinking about doing the same to Sinfest, Penny Arcade, and Menage a 3.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. Why? It's not my favorite, but it's a decent comic. Same for Penny Arcade.
Likes many underrated webcomicsJust wanted to throw it out there somewhere that I'm kinda bummed that the Sinfest thread got locked, but given how Tats seems like he's never going to change and we'll just keep going on about how wacky he had gotten, I guess it was only a matter of time before the mods chimed in.
Probably for the best, because I am crazy behind on that comic and I'm not gonna waste hours of my life bingeing on a bad comic just to get up to speed with a thread.
Arrivederci, Sinfest thread! You were a real one.
...What the actual f happened to Sinfest?
-googles-
Oh.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Wow, this thread is so deserted.
Anyway, you guys still want to talk webcomics and Webtoons?
I myself recently found this neat podcasts all about webcomics; give it a listen when you can!
I was far more into webcomics ten-twelve years ago. Several things changed, but maybe chief among them was streaming of TV shows becoming far more reliable and available.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.YA'LL I AM SO ANGRY.
So awhile ago I started reading a really good shonen-esque action webcomic. Funny, likeably unlikeable lead, a bit of an Affectionate Parody but most action shonen is nowadays. Just a great read overall.
But then after reading three chapters I lost track of it because I forgot the comic's name.
I stumbled upon it again and do you know what it's called?
ARRRRGH. Why couldn't you have called it ghost puncher or knifehead or something.
I enjoyed season 2 of Kaiten Mutenmaru so much I wrote a detailed summary of Sick Valachlorophenol here. It's the best webcomic I've ever read and I hope the article will help future readers.
Anybody remember when sprite comics were a thing?
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.I do! Indeed, I think that the first webcomic that I discovered was a sprite comic, that being 8-Bit Theatre. ^_^
My Games & Writing
I doubt so. But it's hardly the same, and anyway, I'm not much good at fanfiction.
