Maybe remove the video and hide the example?
"The name's Uzume Tennouboshi! Yeah, it's pretty badass, I know." - Uzume, Megadimension Neptunia VIIAustin DR, who created the page, is still around, but given that it was originally created a decade ago and is incredibly barebones, I'd just cutlist it.

back lolThat makes sense. I think I'll do that. Thanks!
Yes; only three tropes, one of which (Magical Girl) lacks sufficient context. That said, it's a rather recent page and has a decent description, so I'll notify the page's creator.
back lolSo with how much the game has blown up, be on the lookout for stuff in Palworld Pals. I'm seeing a lot of trope only entries.
They need to be hidden, notifiers sent, and folders with no remaining tropes also hidden.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI found these Ice Magic Is Water wicks on Characters.Trails Series
Characters.Trails Series Crow Armbrust
- Ice Magic Is Water: His secondary element is water and his Freezing Bullet Craft in the first game had him fire a round that triggered an ice explosion for magic damage.
Characters.Trails Series Crossbell Special Support Section (Tio)
- Ice Magic Is Water: Her primary element is water and her Absolute Zero Craft and Ether Debuster S-Craft has her transform her Orbal Staff into a Chainsaw-Grip BFG and release an icy explosion to inflict magic damage.
Characters.Trails Series Erebonia Ironblood (Claire)
- Ice Magic Is Water: Her primary element is water and her Frigid Rain Craft has her conjuring and shooting a large block of ice to do magic damage.
Trails Series Erebonia Thors Class VII New (Musse)
- Ice Magic Is Water: Her primary element is water and her Brilliant Shot S-Craft has her encasing the enemy in a flower made of ice before firing a Reflecting Laser at them.
Trails Series Ouroboros (Vita)
- Ice Magic Is Water: Her secondary element is water and her Frozen Prison Craft has her encasing the enemy in ice to inflict magic damage.
For some context, each of the characters in the Trails Series have some starting elements (one primary one and one secondary one) in their orbal arts (the series' magic system) via whatever technology they have that can be freely customised if the player desire to. Meanwhile crafts are the characters special skills and some are magic based but freely independent of orbal stuff.
None of the examples listed above correlate that their crafts are water based (then turning to ice) but rather saying that they are tied to certain element and their crafts happen to be ice. Additionally, the orbal arts page of the wiki has some water arts that turn them into ice. So this is also more of a general thing rather than a character specific one.
However, I could be wrong so would more opinions on this.
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ANever thought I would see one in a propaganda film of all things, but apparently I did with The Day the Clown Cried (YMMV page):
- Audience-Alienating Premise: Big-time. It even alienated the guy who starred in it!
Putting aside the fact that the film was never released and thus was never considered making a box-office fortune anyway, this doesn't explain why the film was alienating to everyone who watched it (including it's lead actor).
- Tear Jerker: It was meant to be one, at least.
I don't know if this is referring to the film never being released (which is meta, and meta examples are generally not allowed on moments pages) or the titular clowns crying. Either way, both examples should be hidden until further notice.
"The name's Uzume Tennouboshi! Yeah, it's pretty badass, I know." - Uzume, Megadimension Neptunia VIII haven't seen the film, and after reading both our own article on it and the Wikipedia article, I'm still not sure whether it was supposed to be a Dark Comedy or it was supposed to be serious but people assumed it was supposed to be a comedy because the of the creator, or possibly somewhere in-between. Whatever is the case, my guess is that the Audience-Alienating Premise should refer to it being a comedic work about the Holocaust, and Tear Jerker should refer to the fact that children are getting killed in it, and in general what happens to the main character.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.It was meant to be a serious drama; I suppose it just alienated audiences because "circus clown entertains children in a concentration camp" comes off as too sentimental and Glurge-y for the subject of the Holocaust.
back lolThe thing is, it was never released, so I don't think we can apply AAP since it requires the work to have been a flop. Though maybe the fact it was never released could be used as proof that it would've been an AAP.
AAP specifically says not to add unreleased works, though I think a finished and accessible work is a different matter than, say, Vaporware.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Cancelled works are still unreleased works and subject to the same rules.
We can always revisit this if and when the Library of Congress releases it, although The Other Wiki has some things to say about that possibility.
Too old for a stub notifier. Go for it.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAsh Face sure is overflowing with ZCEs that just say "happens to character".
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Reforged From Ruin only has two tropes with any context, along with no capitalisation for character names. The rest are just the trope listed, although one does have "shin ren again" next to it.
There are also a lot of... weird blank bullets. They're not for any purpose as far as I can tell, since I checked and there aren't commented out examples underneath them.
The page isn't indexed, either.
Is it okay to Cut List the page? I'm not familiar with the work.
Avatar: Amethio (Pokemon Horizons)The page was created on Jan 11 by Tropers/Yoav. There is only one edit by another user. It has zero wicks.
Maybe it's worth notifying the creator of the page to elaborate and crosswick. Or just cutlist it.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I actually looked into their edits and they've made a bunch of stub character pages and seem to add a lot of ZCEs. I made a post for them in ATT asking if they've ever been sent a notifier before, since they've been frequently editing since 2021.
Avatar: Amethio (Pokemon Horizons)Is it okay if I comment out the two ZCEs? I don't think anyone has opposed me on that.
Also, the page for Black★Rock Shooter Innocent Soul hasn't been updated since 2022 (hence the Spell My Name With An S green-link), yet they're only five examples with legitimate context (Cruel and Unusual Death, Darker and Edgiernote , There Is No Kill Like Over Kill, the aforementioned Spell My Name With An S, and Woobie of the Week). The Good Is Not Nice example does give some context on the "good" part, but doesn't explain why the heroes aren't nice.
"The name's Uzume Tennouboshi! Yeah, it's pretty badass, I know." - Uzume, Megadimension Neptunia VIIBumping
"The name's Uzume Tennouboshi! Yeah, it's pretty badass, I know." - Uzume, Megadimension Neptunia VIIthis seemed like the best place for this particular edit, but i found this on From Bad to Worse while doing some crosswicking:
- Kidz Bop's version "Domino" changes the hook from "take me down like I'm a domino" to "knock me down". Think about it.
i can't tell how the lyric change makes the song (or the song's lore i guess??) worse from a bad spot, and the entry doesn't try to explain itself. (the Domestic Abuse pothole also feels... weird but that may just be me reading into it.)
Stan GaruKaru for clear skin
I would say it would be a better move to remove that video and the example in question considering there are problems with the context in the example. If not then maybe some other ways to do for that context.
Sure. I will remove it.
