Yeah, I think that was the point.

I don't really see anything wrong with an Elder Scrolls crossover/AU sort of thing, but that whole mythos seems too optimistic to mesh properly with 40k. I mean, Daedric Princes are tough, but it's been shown that they're fallible and can be tricked and banished and such. And on the other side of that? Good luck trying to trick or banish Tzeentch, or any other chaos god for that matter.

Of course, it could be that those two were pursuing different goals from what we know altogether, and that their "failures" are Just as Planned.

Which would certainly explain why Abbadon hasn't been chaos spawn-ified for his various failures. Hmmm.

No, not really. He got into the webway but the Harlequins are keeping him away from the library.

So I've been worldbuilding for a Sector I'm planning to use as the main setting for a 40k fic I'm working on, and for some reason I feel the desire to make it at least partially inspired by Imperial China. Because eventually everything having Latin themed names gets a bit dull.

Well, the Mongol Hordes-themed White Scars' homeworld is named "Chogoris" natively, and Mundus Planus in Imperial records.

That's...Actually pretty interesting...

I've decided to call the Sector's main Ad Mech system Praxis.

So I'm working on one. Centering on some PDF reserves on a pretty rural world which has an unwelcome Chaos-worshipping infestation.

Strikes me that the parallels with zombie stories are definitely there.

I've started to write a crossover where the Imperium launches a crusade against the Koprulu Sector.

I have started reading ToyHammer. Chapter 2 now.

Scratch the above post, the ending of Chapter 20 is the CMOA to end all CMOAs: THE EMPEROR OF MANKIND IS HERE!!! WOOT!

Well, I'll try to collect a few tropes from the main article after I finish my final exams, as a first step.

Ugh, I don't want to rewrite both of the stories I had involving my custom Chapters...I lost all of both of them when my laptop went down and I was really far into both of them >_<

Do it man. I know that feel, but it gives you a chance to evaluate it. You may decide it sucked and you want to change stuff.

I liked the setups I had for them, though :( It gives me an opportunity to adjust the Chapters (one, the Legion, I've decided to make from a Chapter equal in size to the Black Templars and using the Terran-pattern Legion makeup and that same kind of armor that's cosmetically similar to Mark II and III armor but has the same capabilities as modern armor to just a coalition of Codex-compliant Chapters of the same Founding, all from Imperial Fists, that when brought together refer to themselves as the Legion and use a Terran-pattern Legion makeup when all together). One was being attacked by a Tyranid splinter fleet, the other has the system they use as their home world under attack by Chaos.

After his mercenary organization is hired by a rogue trader to hunt down a highly influential gang leader on the Hive world of Omnartus. Attelus Kaltos is embroiled even deeper into the complex and convoluted world of the hired killer.
