Through the fourth arc then? You know who Jane Doe is supposed to be? I feel like I should know but I can't quite think of it.
Yandere Charlotte is yandere.
Finally finished with Shikkoku No Sharnoth. That was a fun ride. I also actually don't mind the dangling plot threads that much.
I think I'll read the webnovel tomorrow.
MAL || vndb || Blogstarted reading
already about at act 3
seeing mary in despair is so despairing
SO MOE
I finished this recently as well. The writing style was a lot different from what I usually read but I thought it worked really well. It wasn't clear how exactly everything worked but it made enough sense that I enjoyed it.
I have no idea.Instead of having a separate thread for the ~what a beautiful...~ series, should we just turn this into a single thread for all the games? I'm planning on starting on Sekien No Inganock, but I don't really want to make a separate thread on it.

MAL || vndb || BlogSounds like a plan.
Unfortunately, you will probably not find the protagonist as awesome as Shikkoku No Sharnoth's.
I assume you're running on a Japanese locale and stuff?
Here, crossposted from Amaterasu:
Hello, first post here. Signed up because Sekien no Inganock is being incredibly frustrating to install. The game works fine without the patch, but after I install the patch, the .exe file won't run at all. No error message, it just won't open. When I try to turn the .exe.bak file back into a .exe file, that one runs fine, but a Japanese error message pops up that says "Text Format Error". Can anyone help?
Also, I've read this entire thread. My laptop is always on Japanese locale (the actual thing, not applocale, not NTLAE). I've reinstalled the game a couple of times, tried installing the patch in a different folder then copy-pasting the files in the patch folder to the folder I've installed the Japanese game in, renaming the .exe files, but nothing worked at all. I should also note that Shikkoku no Sharnoth worked just fine when I installed it. I'm running Windows 7.
Played Sekien No Inganock and playing Sharnoth right now. They really are good Visual Novels

Full Battle ModeHappily, I have an ancient hand-me-down Windows XP laptop . Windows 7 is too new-fangled to play some old eroge.
Jokes aside, I needed to download Daemon tools, the free trial version, to install Sekien instead of the Elaborate Bytes program I usually use.
If you are already using Daemon, then tough luck.
Full Battle ModeApparently I'm in the minority for liking Sharnoth more so perhaps it will be worth the effort for you.
They sure didn't waste time establishing how crappy a place Inganock is. Looks like I really have to reread Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath; I'm pretty sure I saw Inganock name-dropped there. Not to mention Sharnoth as well.
Gii's power is pretty interesting. So he sees everything as a mathematical equation, which allows him to correct the abnormalities in people, huh?
Ati is voiced by Charlotte's VA.
Judging by the OP, I'm guessing Salem will probably be the "villain" of this arc. I'm not sure what how the "villains" work yet though, whether they'll be like the metacreatures or anything from Sharnoth.

MAL || vndb || BlogTo keep away from spoilers, Inganock has the same highly repetitive kind of story telling. I liked it more in Sharnoth possibly because I just liked the cast of Sharnoth more. Apart from Ati I didn't really like the people in Inganock much.
Damnit webnovel, you just raised more questions without really answering any.
