I really want to watch Batman Forever again, but not enough to bother going out of my way for a disc.

What's really annoying is when they have sequels available to stream but not the original. I'm sure I'll be glad to stream Crocodile Dundee 2 when I've seen the first one, but until then I keep seeing "ooh, I can watch Crocodile Dundee now! No, wait. That's the sequel."

I overheard some girls at work talking about how Netflix doesn't have Mean Girls, just its ABC Family cheapquel.

What I hate about Netflix is that it isn't available here. Better get that US-Address...

It had the original Mean Girls for a while, but it's not there anymore.

Yet they still have Mean Girls 2 available. That's like giving you an adorable puppy, letting you fall in love with the puppy and then murdering said puppy and giving you a brain-dead horse as a replacement.

Being subscribed to both discs and streaming, it irks me when I look for a title to stream and it's only available on disc.

I have two profiles on the account in order to keep my "streaming movies to review on my blog" queue separate from my strictly recreational stuff. But when I go looking for something to stream while my blogging profile is active, it seems like absolutely everything I'd like to review is on disc, even though that profile does not have access to my disc allowance.

It especially sucks when your sister wants to watch Mean Girls with you and you get excited because it's so hard to agree on a show or movie, only to find that it's no longer there and you have to argue over what to watch again (we ended up agreeing to watch Ouran High School Host Club, but it took about ten million years to reach a compromise).

I recently saw someone tweet "lifehack: when you start to look for something to watch on Netflix, turn on NPR. When you give up, you'll have heard an hour of NPR."

Good news, if you live in the US at least, Mean Girls is back on Netflix streaming.

Goddammit, I didn't get to Dr Strangelove in time.

It's saying on all the Fox shows in the upper-left corner that they're leaving April first this year in the U.S. Yet it doesn't show that fact on the details section of the show page is. Can this be oversight? Can someone explain this to me?

Having a problem accessing Netflix. I'm trying to watch the Knights Of Sidonia anime, but I can't seem to find it, even if I type it up in Search. Is it a location thing (from and in the Philippines BTW)?

The local advertisement for The Umbrella Academy cracked me up. Basically, they got one of our well-known actors, Piotr Fronczewski, known among others for his role of Academy of Adventure headmaster Ambroży Kleks in "Akademia Pana Kleksa" (Mr Inkblot's Academy - based on pre-war children's books by Jan Brzechwa), and had him narrate a trailer in rhyme (which is yet another reference to the film version that was pretty much a musical).

People love it.
