How about Twilight's Open Mouth, Insert Foot moment that drives Pinkie to tears? Followed by her breaking down in Tears of Remorse.
Oh, I believe in yesterdayOh yeah, that too. When the super funny and friendly Pinkie Pie doesn’t want to talk to you, you know you screwed up.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Fate/Zero, season 2, episode 3. And pretty much everything else afterwards. This show ruined me...
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantI just remembered one that ALWAYS GETS ME. Aerith's adoptive mom from Final Fantasy VII.
The story goes like this.
- A woman goes to see her love return from war, she waited every day, and had to see all the other happy people reunited every single time she did. One day she sees a little girl crying for her mother not to leave her alone, the mom dies so she adopts the poor little girl. One day the little girl tells her not to cry, but that "Someone beloved to her returned to the planet." She doesnt get what that means but she then finally gets the letter that her husband died at war. And then the mafia tries to kidnap the little girl by any means they can. The girl insists she is normal and doesnt get why the mafia wants her so badly... but even then the woman knew why.
It gets so much worse over the course of the game. ESPECIALLY after Aerith's death. She's left alone in her despair. She has no one now.

Oh no! The DREADED AQUAE MORTIS! No, wait, it's just your imagination.Persona ending songs. Yes, all of them.
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.Large portions of The Great Escape, particularly the death of Ives and the massacre of the escapees prior to the ending.
I’m not a cryer, if I gotta be honest. Fictional things don’t make me cry. But, they can make me really depressed.
- I find a lot League of Legends death quotes to be surprisingly sad, especially Renata Glasc’s “Finally… I can see them [her dead parents] again…”, Dr. Mundo’s “Who heals… Mundo?” Aphelios’s (technically, it’s his sister’s spirit saying it, since Aphelios is mute.) “No! I was supposed to help you! I knew…”, and Nunu and Willump’s, where Willump is the one to die and Nunu rushes to his side and says: “I’ll save you Willump! I’ll save you..”
- The aftermath of the fifth Glow attack always really depresses me, and is very sad. I’m not saying more cause I wanna avoid spoilers for anyone.
The part in Pokémon: The Birth of Mewtwo where Ambertwo and the cloned starter pokemon unexpectedly die, the scenery of the Remember Place fades away, and little Mewtwo is left all alone in an empty dark void with nothing. No one is there to make him feel better, no one can explain to him why his friends are suddenly gone, and he has no way to understand the pain he's feeling. "Those tears...what good are they?"

I couldn’t agree more. :(
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. We're in the same boat...and while I'm at it, the part mentioned earlier in the My Little Pony movie where Twilight yells at Pinkie and then the others all silently walk away from her in anger made me really sad, too. Applejack being at the tail end of the line and giving a Death Glare to Twilight hurt.
And from Infinity Train, MT trying to assert her right to be her own person ("I'm not Tulip. I'm not foil. I'm not reflection. I'm not a sliver. I'm not a null. I'm not any of the hundreds of names that everyone wants to give me!") and Hazel singing Tuba's song. Damn you, Simon...a million eternities of hellfire aren't enough for you.

I don’t quite remember the Death Glare, but yeah. :(
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I think it was very subtle, she wasn't snarling in rage or anything, just looked silently furious. But I really don't want to go back and rewatch that scene to find out the specifics :(
The part of the movie where, if you look closely enough, the Storm King and his army destroyed Ponyville. :'(
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.
