knowing Maduro he will pinky promise and then do his suprising but inevitable betrayal expecting anyone to be mad but do nothing about it as they always done.

At this point I dont have much hope of anything changing.

The US probably knows this. The promises about elections are probably just theater to sell the lifting of sanctions to the public.

And now the sudden but inevitable betray just happen: the TSJ(venezuela supreme court) just nulify the reuslt of the oposition primaries and in fact, demand information about it like notebooks, the act of notification and more and try to argue to barbados that it was in fact, the oposition who cheat and broke the rules of the treaty.

Im....not surprise at all, this is happeing because as always anyone predict ana corina would win and she did by a whooping 92% of the vote. Chavismo said this is bullshit and have being claiming fraud.

I should be surprised with this....but im not, im really not at all.

Chavez went up and down with it but the 2015 oil deposit discovery ratcheted things up.

Maduro and his ill didnt back down from corina blocking(specially since is obvious from here she will beat him so far is not even funny) and she found a replacement and by the time she have to register to participated, the place was locked and aparently didnt acept her request, meaning she cant participate on the election(Maduro register just fine and said there would be election regardless), Oposition is cry foul that chavismo are continuing rigging election, Chavista are playing dumb and saying oposition was just to lazy to actually register to participate.

So...the same really.
