So that is the only Lelouch matchup that doesn't seem unfair - if Char's helmet actually blocks eye contact/line of sight.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).So I wonder, do Geasses work on people who are unable to hear either?
It's been 3000 years…So basically cut off a tyranid from the hive mind and they also becomes a mindless animal?
The comparisons runs deep.

#IceBearForPresidentRIP Death Battle Cast, and I've seen people claiming that the YouTube channel's going to be not only be shut down but outright deleted.
A high fantasy vs sci-fi army battle is something I think would be very fun, but you'd have to find the right high-fantasy and sci-fi series in order to get stuff that isn't immediately lopsided one way or the other.

Tyranids vs. Zerg
Xenomorphs vs. Arachnids
x6 Char’s helmet would probably block out Lelouch’s Geass, yes, meaning it probably wouldn’t come up as a factor even if Lelouch and Char came to direct blows. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s 100% useless. Lelouch is the type to, say, take hold of an enemy and order him to go rush against his own allies, for instance, though that’s only in the context of them both having forces with them.
Wonder if it’d be fair to give Lelouch access to the FLEIJA bombs. On one hand, he never actually ever uses them himself, which to me would make the answer a no. But then again, him having direct access to them is a pretty big deal for the end game of Code Geass. Then again, I guess they’re really only useful if he ever gets a massive distance from Char and his forces during the fight… It’d probably be better to just ignore it.

IIRC didn't Lelouch use his Geass on a bunch of clearly visored/helmeted Britannian troops twice at the start of both Code Geass seasons?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).At least in Season 1, they weren’t wearing any eyewear.

I’m pretty sure Mao wears his visor later on specifically to fight against Lelouch’s Geass.
Who would be a good match-up for Pickle the Caveman? Been trying to think of one that isn't stomp-y because the only MU I could think of, Spear and Fang, would just end up with the two being food for the big guy.
There's Shen Wulong, though he's also paired up against Yujiro Hanma too.

Watch Symphogear3 Actually, Mao wore the headband to disguise his own eyes (Geass) and he still avoided eye-contact with Lelouch by reading his mind to predict his next possible moves.
So it would likely need to prevent outright eyesight to work, so unless Char straight up can’t see at all through his weird vizor, he should be reasonably affected by Lelouch’s Geass.
I did forget the thing with Mao also using it to help with his own Geass. Although, I still think it may require both parties being able to see each others eyes. I can’t remember any time in which Lelouch used it on someone with eyewear, and he in fact always shows off his own eyes to those he uses Geass on, revealing them as needed. Even on Mao, it was only used when his eyewear did come off (although, that also happened to be because it was only at that moment he was distracted).
Of course, reflections are also apparently enough to make the Geass function too there.
Athena Asamiya vs. Sumireko Usami
High school students with psychic powers hailing from long-standing franchises. Aside from school they have some side gigs (Athena is an idol while Usami runs the Secret Sealing Club), and are friends with some equally powerful characters (The combatants of the KoF tourneys and the youkai of Gensokyo). Their psychic powers are powerful enough to take on beings that are effectively stronger (Orochi and Yukari Yakumo). Above all else, their popularity stems from appearances in fighting games (Athena's first fighting game appearance is The King of Fighters '94, Usami debuted in Urban Legend in Limbo) despite other factors outside of the genre (Athena's debut, Psycho Soldier, is a side-scrolling platformer, Touhou Project is a Bullet Hell SHMUP franchise).
Wow. OK, yeah. Carnage is definitely winning any rematches against [insert pink-haired anime character here]. O_O
There’s Guilford, unless you meant different types of ear wear. From what I remember reflections or anything transparent were fair game for his geass, and if the Charles examples is any indication (despite it failing for other reasons) how it reflects doesn’t matter as long as it’s eye to eye.

In the light blue corner, Rimiru Tempest. Local overpowered slime boi that eventually evolved into a True Demon Lord
In the darker blue corner, Venom. A different blobby boi who has recently taken on the mantle of the dark divinity, The King in Black.
Do you think this is a lopsided matchup or a fair fight?
If its current Anime Rimiru, its a stomp in Venoms Favor.
Original Webnovel End of Story Rimiru? Not even the King in Black could save himself.
Watch SymphogearFrom what I understand from later LN material, Rimuru gets pretty busted, to the point that one of his more common opponents, Kirby, I considered a win in Rimuru's favor.
That said, current Venom is now at cosmic tier and via comic book bullshit that probably should give him a lot of busted feats that might give Rimuru a tough time.
Rimuru Tempest from the LN is one of the few people the internet seems to agree can defeat Son Goku in a fight.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).There's also various Xianxia protags from a lot of Chinese Webnovels, too, but they aren't that well known outside of their particular circles online.
Watch SymphogearI heard that by the end Rimuru went back in time and saved himself from Truck-kun. If he can beat Truck-kun, he must be pretty busted.
I also remember reading ability list of that dragon guy, what's his face, and how my thoughts went from "this is pretty impressive" to "this is bit much, getting kinda cringe". You can feel that the author wants to win that vs debate so bad.
Rimiru didn't get truck kun-d, he got stabbed.

Tyranids basically have a gestalt consciousness. There isn't a "single" person commanding the hive fleets. Rather, each Tyranid helps form the larger super organism. However, there are some caveats. In order for their psychic connection to work, the fleets make creatures with higher psychic powers. These creatures basically act like nodes because they amplify the psychic connections and allow the hive mind to connect with all its parts. If you separate the smaller Tyranids from all the hive mind nodes than they become feral. They are still dangerous, but they no longer have the connection to all the other Tyranids.
