Sometimes you have cases where everyone agrees that it's a Game-Breaker. Sometimes you're not so lucky. For example, Magic The Gathering fans are always debating whether the most powerful cards in the format are breaking the game—there's always someone complaining about how broken the new hot stuff is, or how stupid it is that Card X is banned when it's not even that good.
It tends to attract Natter and Justifying Edits, which is strong evidence that Your Mileage May Vary.

Rhymes with "Protracted."If you say so. Still, the second part is also considered YMMV, even though the nerf in the experience it gives is completely objective, and not deserving of the red dot. I'm just trying to say that this system still has some kinks that need working out.
Well, in your case, the second part is Thread Mode anyway, and it can be objectively listed as Nerf instead.
Note also that something can be objectively the most powerful thing in the game and still not objectively be a Game-Breaker because the Metagame evolves to combat it with specialized tactics, or players create their own restrictions to limit the cheese, etc. And the Scrubs will always call the most powerful thing a Game-Breaker, and the "Stop Having Fun" Guys will always say "It's a legitimate tactic that you should be able to adapt to if you're any good at the game."

Rhymes with "Protracted."So you know how when you go to edit a Work page, it now gives you a message saying that items need to be moved to YMMV, if there are any there like that. Well, there are certain items such as Ensemble Dark Horse and Memetic Mutation that are showing red bullets, but don't show up as "need to be moved" when you go to edit.
“I just think that's really shady." "Shady?!" - Stephanie & Chad, The Amazing Race 17That should be repaired, now.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThings in the YMMV namespace now get a banner explaining the whys and wherefores of the page.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyOooh, I like the banner. That's a nice idea. Simple, but helpful.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThere's still an issue with redirects like Alternate Character Interpretation not showing the red bullet correctly.
Rhymes with "Protracted."In principle, that can be "solved" by adding all the redirects to the YMMV list (probably in their own subsection, so they don't mess up index-bar navigation).
Of course, if there's a more technical fix coming, we should probably hold off on that...
132 is the rudest number. The In-Universe thing doesn't seem to work when used as a pothole without the dash (both the normal wiki word and the {{}} markup). Can this be fixed?

Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist.I don't know. Is it too much to ask, that hyphen?
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyWell, as the main trope page is In-Universe it is a bit confusing.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSomething I noticed concerning the /fanfic/ namespace. When you move the YMMV type tropes off of the there is no banner for the fanfic. Maybe it should have a banner? Otherwise a person needs to create a redirect so the banner system doesn't "break".
Did you set the page type to Work? That could be your problem.
Nevermind, misread your post.

Rhymes with "Protracted."Sorry my post was a bit confusing. Here is an example of what I am talking about ScoobyDooAndTheTripOfLust. When the user clicks on ScoobyDooAndTheTripOfLust there is no link that allows them to easily access the "main page". Sure, they could click the back button, but it would probably be easier to have a "fanfic button" like the ones used for YMMV, Fridge, Characters, etc
That's because there isn't a main page for that.
Fight smart, not fair.Because it's namespaced to Fanfic.Scooby Doo And The Trip Of Lust
Should it be under Literature to begin with?
BTW, I'm a chick. Not sure if here's the correct place to ask this, but after seeing troacctid post about Game-Breaker... Sometimes, even normally objective tropes can have grey areas. Should these go to YMMV too?
It depends. Is the grey area leading to Natter and Justifying Edits? If so, that's good evidence that it needs to be marked as subjective.
Rhymes with "Protracted."I would say no. The tab works better if the rules for what goes on it are clear-cut, and if the trope really is objective then such examples should be rare enough that they can be solved by discussion and/or curation.
132 is the rudest number. There are cases where a normally objective trope belongs on the subjective tab. For example, I recently moved Villain Protagonist and Affably Evil onto the YMMV page for The Count Of Monte Cristo because they're part of an Alternative Character Interpretation.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Since we've proven that the system works, can we do the reverse now and have non-YMMV items or things marked as In-Universe be highlighted in YMMV sub pages?
Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist.Should we be adding redirects to the YMMV index? Maybe in a separate section so they can be easily removed when and if a permanent solution is implemented for them.

It's not a good bad bug though. It's not in any way a bug or a glitch, it's just a specific set up of equipment and skills that pushed your attack to ludicrous levels. Everything is working exactly as it's designed to, and is just a horribly strong combination.
