Wow.
In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin. And now, for some hilarious duel excerpts. My usual deck against a gladiator beast deck.
kpcallan2: sure...
kpcallan2: eff (effect of his monster)
Wanderlust Warrior: not the most graceful of responses to that...
So now he's got set up 3 or 4 monsters. I've just got my back row. Not worried here, because I know my deck.
kpcallan2: ya dey r
Wanderlust Warrior: no, they're not
Wanderlust Warrior: I think I'd know
kpcallan2: they r but id actually rather have it in grave so sure
Wanderlust Warrior: they aren't
kpcallan2: look it up after
Wanderlust Warrior: I looked it up before
Wanderlust Warrior: I've been using this deck for a while
kpcallan2: well its a bit crappy
Wanderlust Warrior: what
kpcallan2: just go
Wanderlust Warrior: at least I can win without using archetypes. All my own combos here
Wanderlust Warrior: but sure. crappy
later on, he's got 4 monsters, not a single one can stand up against my surprise gren maju da eiza (6400 attack). He gets a turn of stall from Utopia, but then he's at 1 material left. So, I attack it with maju, then attack it with the needle worm I activated that turn, forcing it to be destroyed. Attack one of his 3 set monsters with Leviair. Detach a tour guide from leviair to bring back cyber valley, banish it an needle worm to draw 2 cards. One of which is BLS. banish one of his two monsters left. So, he's got 1 monster on the field, and the only card in his hand is what he just drew. He's down to 6 cards in his deck, most of the useful cards I'd already forced him to mill by 2 necroface effects and one needle worm effect. I've got BLS, Leviair with 1 material, Gren Maju Da Eiza (7600 attack) and am at 16300 life points (1500 added from summoning then using BLS while soul absorption is on the field, in the following quote:)
Wanderlust Warrior: banish (the monster I select from BLS)
Wanderlust Warrior has gained 500 life points
kpcallan2: f you!
Wanderlust Warrior: you wish
kpcallan2 has left the duel
I had a feeling I'd get some lulz when he was immature in the opening when I wished him luck. I knew it would be fun when he called my deck crappy (I have a higher dueling network rating than him by about 200...). So of course, I had to share the lulz when he rage quit the server after realizing how screwed he was.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyUnless I get a bad hand or I am outraced by my foe special-summon wise, my Dragunity deck goes like this:
- Turn 1: Get Stardust Dragon out
- Turn 2: Get Scrap Dragon out
- Turn 3: ???
- Turn 4: Profit
Much, much more efficient than my old deck (Spell Counters), as that didn't have deck searching on 'roids. Dragon Ravine is win - not only for Dragunities, but for Dragons as well.

Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams! This is why I don't play with strangers, tempted as I might be by online playing: a game like this requires a lot of trust, and having your opponent cheat or argue or leave ruins the fun. I don't care if I lose, but it'd damn better be while playing by the rules (and politely.)
Which is why I only currently play against my nephew, who sadly hasn't been available lately.
Any solo play games that you people know of?
Video games, but aside from that, no.
Dueling Network would be much better if more people were polite. Fortunately, you can use the rating/experience rating to guess who's a rage quitter and who's not.
Twice I took to trolling a rage quitter with a private chat message after they quit. For those, I knew they were quitters going into it, by either the numbers or a previous match.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhich Yugioh video games are there? I played Duelists of the Roses once but didn't like the system used in it (or the graphics either.) But I assume there must be more. Does Zexal have one yet?

The World Championship series is your best bet.
2006 (for GBA) and 2007 onward (for DS) is where it's at; 2012 is the most recent incarnation, and we'll be seeing a 2013 version soon enough.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams! Thanks, I'll look them up.
Also just started watching Zexal (on Hulu) man it's hilarious! And the cards and FX are cool, even if we have to suffer the "characters are explaining things they should know already- and aloud" thing that always pesters the series. Oh well.
You should always get the most recent version of World Championship and/or Tag Force.
(WC has the most TCG-faithful sets, while Tag Force has a few anime-only cards, such as Dark Ritual and Berserker Soul.)
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Wait, how do you cheat in Dueling Network? I thought the simulation would have the rules in it. I guess that's way too much for a fan-made simulator though.
Does Dueling Network have a friends list or anything like that?
It does indeed. Only whoever is online is visible, though.
The ability to follow all the rules is in place, but it's up to the players to actually do the actions as written on the cards.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyMy username is Super Saiga. Add me to your friends lists, people.
I'm going to need some major training to be any good.
I think I used to play on this. I'll join tomorrow or the day after if I can.
I was wondering why frisbees got bigger as they got closer then it hit me.Get ready to have the fear of plants beaten in to you

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Anyone want a duel?
The wikia brought up a strange point: Harpie Ladies were the first supported archetype. Even before Toons, or Blue Eyes, or even Dark Magician.
However, the better support came after Mai was no longer on the show.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'll be able to duel later, after my driving lesson. I have to work on my decks though now that I've been informed my monsters should outnumber my spells+traps.
Anyone for a match?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI will, I'd also like you to take a look at my Banish deck and give me some tips if you can.
That was posted this afternoon. I'm gonna sleep in a little bit. I'll take a look soon though, but please don't make it too similar to my own. I like to see people with large creative differences in their decks.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI took some inspiration from your deck, but all I remember is Macro Comsmos and D.D Dynamite, I'm not sure if any of the other cards are the same (though they likely will be).
And I feel like removing Macro Cosmos anyway.
Oh, so this is the thread.

I was wondering why frisbees got bigger as they got closer then it hit me.Card Games are awesome. Just saying...
So as we know, I take pride in the originality of my deck. It can go for almost any win condition, and isn't easily countered outside of imperial iron wall.
One duelist happened to get hit by the mill aspect a lot, and so assumed my deck was Empty Jar. I said it wasn't, (you'd think the necroface, D. D. Survivor, Dimensional Fissure and so on would be clues), but between him being wrong about the most important part of my deck and being wrong about a basic ruling, he decided to start name-calling. I wound up losing, though I could've won if I summoned my White-Horned Dragon. So after I leave to duel Kay, he starts messaging me.
So if he's gonna troll me, I figure, an eye for an eye...
duel_zone: a win is a win
duel_zone: doesn't matter how much by
Wanderlust Warrior: good for you.
duel_zone: not for u though
Wanderlust Warrior: eh, I've got enough wins to justify my deck.
duel_zone: not to me though u lost
duel_zone: remember?
Wanderlust Warrior: sure. I lose every now and then. I don't care that much about it, though
duel_zone: liers be liers
duel_zone has logged out
duel_zone has logged in
Wanderlust Warrior: poor spellers be poor spellers...
duel_zone has logged out
duel_zone has logged in
Wanderlust Warrior: so what is a "lier", anyway?
duel_zone: -_-
duel_zone: look it up
duel_zone has logged out
So, I've decided to start keeping records of who's a punk that I've dueled. To troll if I'm bored, but also so you guys don't have to face them.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
only 7.
I mostly quit Yugioh around the time I finished my Lightsworn deck and Brionac reigned supreme over the game, along with the "Buy Secret Rares, Win Yugioh Forever" thing Konami is starting to do.
