General All-Purpose Crossover Fiction Thread

Where does one go for fanfic advice?

Speaking of advice, can anyone suggest an anime, manga or books series besides PMMM, Kamen Rider Gaim, or Haruhi where one of the main characters becomes a god? Not overpowered muscleman or DC One Million Superman Physical God, but actual godhood?

Here's my crossover fic. I wrote it as a kind of tribute to my favorite stories and characters from throughout my life. The basic premise is that all of fiction is being threatened and it's up to our heroes to try to set things right.

Random question: Why do people always refer to it as 'reverse summoning' instead of 'banishing'?

There was a discussion where ideas would pop up on creating a team of good guys/bad guys based on a voice actor.

For example, I'm trying to do a fic based on characters voiced/acted by Akio Otsuka.

Had an idea the other day where Ange inadvertently attracts a Red Lantern ring and basically tries to pull a Lobo with it until either other Lanterns (not sure which Corps yet) interrupt her and either fight her off (Green/Blue/Star Sapphire) or bring her into the fold (Atrocitus/other Reds).

Still not entirely sure where the plot goes from there, might work better as a quest rather than a fanfic, but I do recognize that I need to do a lot more research into the DC universe before I try and do much with it.

I seen a lot of crossovers on Wattpad. Mostly, some Spice Girls Fic. I had already posted two of them in other forums. I'm not going to keep repeating myself.

I'm really surprised I haven't seen an Animal Crossing and Gregory Horror Show crossover, especially since the character designs are so similar, there's a ton of animals in GHS, and the PS2 video game had schedules everyone followed.

(When i first saw the GSH video game I thought it was some kind of messed-up Animal Crossing...)

here's my fic I am working on. I was actually planning on making a Gokaiger adaptation fic but I think I finally found the comic I truly enjoyed. That comic is Housepets.

So in this amalgamation adaptation salad of Tokusatsu, Dragon Ball and others: King, Bailey and their pups become Gokaigers, (Or Rather "Kingkaigers,") Pete The Griffin is scheming world domination through Monster Of The Week formulas, his Hired men like that of Mighty Morphin and Turbo, A fresh slate for continuity as Lord Zedd (and possibly other legacy villains) are the Piccolo to the Kingkaigers' Gohan, (Tommy and Kat's the Goku to their Gohan as well) Climax to the TV Pilot Movie taken from Team Four Star's Cell Saga climax...

...And among other things, I'm aiming so that it ends alongside the 100th Super Sentai series by the time the series conclude it's long storyline.

Wait a minute... I been working on a fan-fic called Final Stand of Death, it has Planet Dolan, Celebrity Deathmatch, and random You Tube Celebs.

So I'm doing my Project x Zone fanfic and I'm looking to use an Ace Combat missile-type superweapon for the bad guys.

Any suggestions?

Also, I'm doing part of it based on Yakuza: Dead Souls. Anyone know the places with the sewer manhole entrances in Kamurocho?

Thinking about a crossover between Steven Universe and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Anyone got any ideas regarding story, characters, etc?

After finishing Vanishing Act and following A Different Kind of Truth, I got an idea to complete the JJBA/Persona crossover "trilogy" by writing a crossover with Persona 3. So far I have a high concept where Jolyne Cujoh joins SEES. We already know she's around 16-17 in 2009, so she'd be a second year in Japanese high schools. So far I only have the high concept as well as some ideas:

• Because of Jotaro's divorce, Jolyne moved to Japan at some point during her childhood
• She didn't want to get involved in SEES at first, but seeing the Dark Hour in action made her realize she doesn't really have a choice
• She'd still be a bit of a delinquent, but doesn't skip school (as often as Shinjiro, that is)
• Stone Ocean would turn out extremely different where Pucci gets his ass royally kicked since both the Shadow Operatives and Speedwagon Foundation would be on his case

Stone Ocean, in a lot of ways, can be kept from even happening at all if Jolyne never ends up going to Green Dolphin St. Prison and/or she never crosses paths with Pucci in a way that ends up making her leverage to bring Jotaro into the former's sphere of influence.

You got a point. If Arisato does form a Social Link with Jolyne and help her work through her issues, then she probably wouldn't end up in Green Dolphin in the first place. In that case, Pucci would probably get dealt with in an epilogue with Jolyne being a Shadow Operative.

I also have a second crossover idea between P5 and Trails of Cold Steel, with Rean being found by the Phantom Thieves in the depths of Mementos. He'd become a Phantom Thief himself, but uses his ARCUS instead of getting a Persona. Haven't thought about any details beyond a high concept just yet.

So is it just me, or are lot of crossovers about how the author heavily dislikes something about one of the settings involved?

Like, sure, I know that lot of crossovers are "this setting vs this series, which would win?(spoiler its author's favorite setting)", but I've noticed that sometimes the author makes characters from another setting point out stupidity or terribleness of characters from the second setting.

It kinda feels like author wants to call out a character who wasn't called out by other characters in their own series by bringing another series' characters to do that, but that seems confusing to me since lot of that sort of deal is because author of the original version of series involved in crossover just did bad job writing wise, so it seems like instead of trying to "fix" character, they are equating bad writing as "this character is terrible person" and such.

So, been writing this a while, but pimping my own fic, Toaru Majutsu no Taylor-chan: A Certain Mythic Archmage (NOT AN INDEX CROSSOVER!). Its a Worm/Pathfinder RPG crossover where Taylor triggers with the altpower of being a max-level Wizard with 10 tiers of Mythic Archamge, meaning she's officially as powerful as a character can get without having Epic levels. And she totally wants to be a hero! Those fires are totally not her fault! In fact, she was nowhere near them when they happened! Actually, it's all Myrddins fault! She's a HERO!

I got an idea for a one-shot crossover between The Dark Knight Trilogy and the Jon Bernthal version of The Punisher where the Joker gets his just desserts courtesy of a certain skull-wearing visiting vigilante in Gotham city.

By which you mean the Joker eats the Punisher's brains out of his skull in the style of a Hannibal Lecter dessert? Actually I'm pretty sure Punisher vs Joker has already been done in a 90's crossover.

Except The Punisher actually succeeds in blowing the Joker's brains out in my idea.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Joker getting killed. Even though I like the Clown Prince of Crime.

Anyway, I have an idea for a Shin Megami Tensei / Highschool DXD crossover. More exactly, a crossover between Devil Survivor 2, Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and Devil Summoner and Highschool DXD. It's working title is "Demonic Vessel".

Basically, the story would loosely follow the events of Dx D, but from the perspective of Shinjiro Kusanagi, a summoner from Kuzunoha Clan who was recently appointed as Geirin Kuzunoha XXIII and the titular Demonic Vessel. He was assigned to Kuoh City, where he would keep an eye on any supernatural activities and make sure Cult of Gaia won't do anything reckless. After what the Shomonkai did 2 years prior in Tokyo, leaders of Kuzunoha Clan became more wary of cults and grew distrustful of The Church. Shinjiro would be supervised by an agent from an organisation called "JP's", which is a close ally to the Kuzunoha Clan. The only thing Shinjiro knows about the agent, is that he's affectionately referred to as "Boss" and he has a daughter named Asahi...
Due to his age, Shinjiro will attend Kuoh Academy as a New Transfer Student. For better or worse, he became friends with the infamous Hyoudou Issei, his classmate and a great source of inconveniences for the demon summoner.

So far, what do you think of the premise?

I'm not too familiar with any of the franchises, so I'm afraid I can't go in depth. The first thing that really jumped at me is the protagonist's name. Shinjiro might not be the best name to use because people can easily confuse him with Persona 3's Shinjiro. From what I know about Dx D, having a straight man reining Issei's antics would be a welcome addition.

I have a question of my own. Does using a real person as the Big Bad of a fic based on a single fandom count as a crossover with an RPF?
