Looks good, Ali. Here's the original, for comparison. (Try and grab a high vantage point on your monitor, it's pretty dark on some monitors otherwise.

I'm gonna color in almyki's latest lineart. :3 Here's mine. It was originally a pen drawing that I scanned in and I decided to go over it in Photoshop for cleaner lines. Sorry about how a few lines get kinda wonky and that the lines are kinda red tinted on the edges if that kind of stuff bugs you. D:

@almyki: Cool, I like both the watercolor pencil and Copic version. Weirdly enough, we picked almost the same hair colors...well, the hair color of the person facing away and the one with spiky hair are flipped, but the two girls are almost the same. o__O

It's been ages since anyone's posted, so I'll just go ahead and claim Dae Brayk's and Matta's lineart together. Dae Brayk's image prints really small, so it might be hard to color )= . But I may be able to resize it and print it larger, if I print it from firefox (A;LFKJADSF CHROME).

I'm glad you liked them, Tumbril =D . I thought my first color job was awful, and the COPIC were tooons of fun. I'm surprised I got some of the colors right, especially that it's the two with the strangest hair colors =O ! I really went crazy with the colors and highlights, just did whatever.

[EDIT]OH and I forgot to say!! Scrye, woah, nice color job on the ninja-...dude. Your colors are so much more natural than mine, mine reminds me of Power Rangers or TNMT in comparison D= . I should have overlaid at ton more gray and a bit of brown to make it less... flamboyantly bright or something. It is pretty dark on my moniter though, thanks for the vantage tip.

I'm gonna' go ahead and post a shit-ton of lineart, because I hate bothering with scanning and uploading every time I want to claim something but I feel I'm kind making camp here. So, anytime I claim artwork and someone needs to color something I did (because I'm above them), if you just like something you see and think it'd be fun to color, check this post! (I have lots of other old lineart I could probably use too, but I can't be bothered scanning for now...)

CHIBI-MYSELF. LIKE MY AVATAR.

Myrrh

CHIBIS. MOAR CHIBIS. ZODIAC-TAN. IN BEACH ATTIRE. (Note: Colors given are not required; you can color them however you want, I'll be delighted, they're just there if you prefer having some direction.)

Rat Gray hair, red eyes, pale skin.

Ox Black hair, gold eyes, tan skin.

Tiger Orange hair, gold eyes, peachy skin.

Hare Blond hair, green eyes, light skin.

Dragon Green/blue hair, purple eyes.

Horse Brown hair and eyes, light tan skin.

Ram Pink/white hair, pink eyes, pale skin.

Monkey Black/purple hair, dark skin.

Dog Dirty blond hair, gold/brown eyes.

Cat Gray hair, gray eyes, pale skin.

Rooster, Snake, and Pig are missing. This is because Rooster and Snake I hated their drawings, and Pig I didn't get to drawing yet. These are characters for a comic idea I've had for a while, though it can be a bit hard to tell what animal a few of them are. Eh. Oh, and Ram-tan is holding an umbrella, but the paper wasn't long enough for me to finish it.

Lastly, little isometric studio apartment diagrams, fully furbished. I have blue-line isometric paper, and I was having fun drawing out blueprints from online apartment ads, filling them with furniture for my ideal dream home or whatever. These are two of the apartments I finished.

Ugh, I keep meaning to color stuff in, but I keep getting distracted and being lazy... DX . Dae Brayk, I'd love a larger version of the boy with the huge mechanical arm you've got there, if you could ^^ .

Ali, I coloured Mitsu-chan. I hope you don't mind. And I am sorry for what I've done to your Ditto.

Yuval, thanks so much, that looks totally awesome! And there is NOTHING wrong with a psychedelic-rainbow Ditto XD !! I especially love the color job on Miss and Boo, and the colors all go nicely together X3 ! <3 <3 <3

Dae Brayk, thank you, that's perfect! Some lines look a little wobbly or fuzzy around the edges when I printed it, but it's not too noticeable. I'll finish my coloring tasks tonight, and probably post them sometime tomorrow.

Da-da-da-da-daaahhh~ (or something) !

Here's Matta's picture. I went with something a little bit different this time... I hope that doesn't bother you ^^; . I wanted to try out some crazy rainbow-neony stuff paired with monochrome. Your lineart was really easy to color in, nice black clean lines!

Here's Dae Brayk's picture. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the colors, and I wasn't at all sure what I was doing... I think I was trying to go for a somewhat rusted grungy feel XD ? I don't even know, but it didn't turn out too much like that!

Lastly, I colored in my two PKMN chibis and figured I'd share =3 . Here they are! I know my scanner is icky, but aaagh, the things it did to Aurelia's skin >_< ! Turned out really weird! It messed up all her colors... But Mitsu-chan's colors turned out pretty OK.

I colored all of the above with my COPIC Sketch marker set (I have the 72 A-set) .

You're welcome, I'm glad you like it ^_^ .

Yuval, if you have any lineart yourself, I'd love to color it, since you colored mine =D .

This seems like it could be fun, but I don't know about my coloring skills.

Sylizer, don't worry about it! Just do your best, we're all of different styles and skill levels =P . I made this thread just as an excuse to practice my own coloring anyway!

Speaking of which... -sigh- Nobody else is interested in trying some coloring, or getting their stuff colored? I guess I should check the old posts to see if there's anybody's lineart I haven't touched yet...

Oh well. I decided to go ahead and color some of my own lineart (I posted them up earlier) to share, and here's the ones I've posted on dA so far:

The Beach/Rat

The Beach/Ox

The Beach/Tiger

The Beach/Hare

I've got Dragon, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Dog, and Cat on the way too, and I'll post links to those when I've finalized them. I've been working with my COPI Cs a ton lately. But I want to practice with color pencils and watercolor too.

I think I'll try nabbing one of yours to color in, almyki. Now to just figure out which oneā€¦

Here's the lineart for my character Lory. I'm interested to see what colors someone would come up with if I don't give them any direction to go with. Also, she has Monochromatic Eyes, which is why she doesn't have pupils or irises drawn, but feel free to add them if you feel like it.

EDIT: I'm coloring this one. I think I'll have it done in a day or two.

Oooo, she looks awesome! :D

If that only took an hour, you totally kick my ass in the coloring department, because that looks better than most of my stuff. I especially like her hair and the lighting.

Feel free to colour this.

Just hit the download on the side to get a zip file containing a clean jpg and png and a psd file.

If you hit the download link on the side you get a png image with just the lineart, a jpg image with a plain white background and a psd file should you prefer that.

I would do this, but I don't know how to clean up a scanned lineart to make it suitable to colour. Most of mine are pretty messy. Is this acceptable quality?

Waargarble, why can't we hotlink?! Anyway, here is a link to it.

This took me a lot longer than I expected, I haven't practiced in a bloody long time so I could not for the life of me remember where to start. Not too proud of the final result, but after so long, I think that's the best I can do right now tongue

At least the lineart was a delight to work with, thanks smile
