What are the advantages/disadvantages of various image hosting sites?

Such as imageshack, imagevenue, imagebam and photobucket?

For example, I know that the first three don't require uploader registration but the last one does, and I also know that bam produces nasty NSFW banner and pop-up ads if the image itself gets declared (rightly or wrongly) NSFW.

Just use Photobucket. You have to create a user account, but you have things like albums and it's easier to organize.

Tinypic gives you a captcha for your link. That's it.

For those forgettable meme posts or reaction images.

I tend to favor Imageshack because the lack of need to register. You can create albums and such if you register if you do need more organization.

I use Photobucket, nothing goes missing and I've had my pictures uploaded for many years. It's ok to organize too.

Some other sites, I notice my files will get deleted if they aren't used for a year or so.

If you're uploading art, Photobucket is certainly your best collection bet.

I actually already have a Photobucket account.

I just wanted to upload a bunch of pictures of women in swimsuits, for the Fetishes thread, so I wanted to make a separate account.

I went ahead and used Imageshack. However, please, keep discussing this; perhaps we'll hear about an obscure website that we didn't know about yet, and how good it is.
