Television is one of my favorite bands. Marquee Moon is just a brilliant album. Their two other albums, Adventure and Television are amazing and great, respectively. Really overlooked albums.
They're off the streets now, and back on the road on the riot trail. http://www.last.fm/user/sca_punkI haven't heard the other two albums, but Marquee Moon is pretty great.
Marquee Moon is great of course, but I like Adventure too.

I think the slightly lighter production made me realize how much R.E.M. must have been influenced by Television - "Days" in particular sounds like something off an early R.E.M. album, distinct vocal differences aside.
Let's talk about how awesome these guys are. Dark, dreamlike art-rock from the streets and catacombs of late 70s NYC. East Village vampires, lost surrealist astronauts, and guitar solos. It's pretty much the greatest thing ever.
Or if y'all hate them I guess we can talk about that too.
