I was wondering if anyone would be interested in playing a less combat-oriented game, in favor of a more Spy Fiction-type game. Whether it would be Martini or Beer would vary from player to player.

The basic idea is that there's a sort of Cold War between four nations, and the players work for any one of the four national intelligence agencies. Basically anything that one could do in real life, one could conceivably do here, up to and including betray your own country.

Metagaming would be heavily policed, for obvious reasons, and you would not be permitted to kill another player without their permission (or mine, in the event of rule-breaking) but, as far as I can imagine, it would be relatively unlimited. You could be a double-agent, you could be a freelancer selling info, if you're good enough you could be the head of your own spy ring in enemy territory.

This is still in the initial stages of planning, so I figured I'd ask you all about it before starting off, especially to know if there would be a niche for this in the first place...So, thoughts?

Interesting...

Not quite ready to commit to it, but I'll watch how this goes.
