Or a Link monster. Hmm... A Link version of Labyrinth Wall as support could also use where its zones and arrows point to to bring into play the whole "you can only move certain ways in a labyrinth".

The sad, REAL American dichotomy

Morphtronic Manual
Equip Spell Card

  • Declare a number from 1 to 4; the equipped monster's Level is treated as that number, also the equipped monster is treated as a "Morphtronic" monster. (Quick Effect) You can target a number "Morphtronic" monsters you control up to the equipped monster's Level; change the battle position of those monsters until the end of this turn, and if you do send this card from the field to the GY.

Morphtronic Overclocked Engine
Equip Spell Card

  • Equip only to a "Morphtronic" monster. If your Life Points are lower than the opponent's, the equipped monster gains ATK/DEF equal to the difference. If the equipped monster declared an attack this turn, during the End Phase: destroy this card, then destroy the monster this card was equipped to and if you do take damage equal to the damage your opponent took this turn.

Good grief some of the cards I thought up (well, two of them) were super horrendously broken and only weak to Token Monsters. -_-"
Should I post 'em here just for the heck of it or should I banish them to the deepest, darkest depths of the netherworld?
(I kinda like their names though.)

Any~way, I've thought up these cards earlier this year.

I imagine a fictional character from a work I had been involved in (sorta) would use this kind of deck.

Lord of the Mender's Fluff
[Cyborg / Effect]
Once per turn: You can Special Summon 2 "Mender's Fluff Tokens" (EARTH / Plant / Level 1 / Tuner / ATK 0 / DEF 0).
EARTH / Level 4 / ATK 0 / DEF 2000
(Yes, I'm aware Cyborg is currently exclusive to Rush Duels.)
Mender's Fluff Token
[Plant / Normal / Tuner / Token]
Special Summoned by the effect of a "Mender's Fluff" card.
EARTH / Level 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0
Mender's Fluffhydra
[Plant / Fusion / Tuner / Effect]
2+ "Mender's Fluff" monsters
If you Fusion Summon this card with 3 or more Fusion Material Monsters, this card gains 1 Level and 400 ATK/DEF for each Fusion Material Monster. If this card is targeted for an attack: You can decrease the Level of this card by 1, and if you do, decrease its ATK and DEF by 400, also this card cannot be destroyed by that battle.
EARTH / Level 6 / ATK 2100 / DEF 2300
Battle damage still applies.

Right. The following currently lack effects, because I haven't been able to think of any that would fit (most of) their crazy summoning requirements.

Goddess of the Mender's Fluff
[Fairy / Synchro / Tuner / Effect]
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
EARTH / Level 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1600
Overgoddess of the Mender's Fluff
[Fairy / Synchro / Tuner / Effect]
2 Tuners + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
EARTH / Level 6 / ATK 2600 / DEF 2000
High Overgoddess of the Mender's Fluff
[Fairy / Synchro / Tuner / Effect]
3 Tuners + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
EARTH / Level 8 / ATK 3100 / DEF 2650
Supreme Overgoddess of the Mender's Fluff
[Fairy / Synchro / Tuner / Effect]
4 Tuners + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
EARTH / Level 10 / ATK 3600 / DEF 3600
Supreme High Overgoddess of the Mender's Fluff
[Fairy / Synchro / Effect]
5 Tuners + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
EARTH / Level 12 / ATK 4200 / DEF 4200
(Hence the Tuner/Token thing.)

Danger!? Mokele-mbembe?

Attribute: DARK

Type: Dinosaur

Level: 7

ATK/DEF: 500/3000

You can reveal this card in your hand; your opponent randomly chooses 1 card from your entire hand, then you discard the chosen card. Then, if the discarded card was not "Danger!? Mokele-mbembe?", Special Summon 1 "Danger!? Mokele-mbembe?" from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card. If this card is discarded: You can Special Summon 1 "Danger!" monster from your GY in Defense Position, except "Danger!? Mokele-mbembe?". You can only use this effect of "Danger!? Mokele-mbembe?" once per turn.

    B.E.S. Support
Destroy the Core!

Continuous Spell

When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Boss Rush" or 1 "B.E.F. Zelos" from your Deck to your hand. Whenever a "B.E.S." monster is Special Summoned, activate its effects as if it were Normal Summoned.

High Speed Maze

Counter Trap

If you control a "B.E.S." monster, "Boss Rush", or a face-up card that lists "Boss Rush" in its text: destroy all cards your opponent controls that are in the same column as cards you control. You can only activate "High Speed Maze" once per turn.

Moai Zone

Continuous Trap

When this card is activated: Summon to your field as many "Moai Tokens" (Rock/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) as possible in Defense Position, but they can't be used as materials for Extra Deck monsters. If a "B.E.S." monster you control would remove a counter, you can destroy one "Moai Token" you control instead. During the End Phase, if you do not control a "Moai Token": Destroy this card, then add 1 "B.E.S." monster or card that lists "Boss Rush" in its text to your hand, except "Moai Zone".

Option Hunter

Normal Trap

When a "B.E.S." monster you control is targeted for an attack: the attacking monster's ATK becomes 0, then you can add 1 "Boss Rush" from your Deck or GY to your hand.

Xaerous Brain

Continuous Spell

"B.E.S." monsters you control can not remove counters by their own effect while it is your turn. Once per turn, you can activate one of the following effects:

  • Shuffle 1 "B.E.S." monster from your hand back into your Deck.
  • Add 1 "B.E.S." monster, "Boss Rush", or card that specifically lists "Boss Rush" from your GY to your hand.
During your opponent's Standby Phase, if you do not control a "B.E.S." monster: Special Summon this card as a monster in Attack Position (Psychic/LIGHT/Level 12/ATK 0/DEF 0).

I like the idea behind B.E.S. but man I wish they were better.tongue

I had an idea for Timelord support.

Avicebron, the Time Sage

LIGHT/Level 1/Fairy/Tuner/0/0

Cannot be used as Link Material. Cannot be used as Synchro Material, except for DARK monsters. While this card is in your hand; Target one Level 10 "Timelord" monster your control. Reduce its Level by one, then Special Summon this card. You can only Special summon "Avicebron the time Sage" this way once per turn. Once per turn: If a "Timelord" monster would leave the field while this card in in the GY, you can shuffle this card into the Deck instead. While you control this card or a Level 10 Synchro Monster that was summoned using this card as material, apply the following effect:

  • "Empty Machine", "Infinite Machine" and "Infinite Light" you control cannot be banished by card effects. Your opponent cannot target them or face down cards in your Spell and Trap zones with card effects.

Voila, a way to get out Vorpgate "in-theme"note , some minor protection for your monsters and better protection for the Ein Soph Ar trio.

I feel like going anti-meta. Imagine these cards having a Mesoamerican theme.

Obsidian Pyramid

Field Spell Card

When this card resolves, return all Extra Deck monsters to the Extra Deck. While this card remains on the field, all Ritual Monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF, and neither player can Summon from the Extra Deck.

Obsidian Dagger

Equip Spell Card

The Monster equipped with this card gains 300 ATK. When the Monster equipped with this card destroys an opponent's monster as a result of battle, place Sacrifice Counters on this card equal to the Level of the destroyed Monster. If you perform a Ritual Summon, you can remove any number of Sacrifice Counters from this card to reduce the total Level Stars required for the Ritual Summon by the same amount.

Obsidian Sword Club

Equip Spell Card

The Monster equipped with this card gains 600 ATK. When the Monster equipped with this card destroys an opponent's Monster as a result of battle, you can cancel the Damage Step to Special Summon that Monster to your side of the Field with 0 ATK and DEF.

Quetzalcoatl's Blessing

Continuous Spell Card

When a Ritual Monster battles an Extra Deck Monster, at the start of the Damage Step, you can destroy the Extra Deck Monster.

Jaguar Warrior

Attribute: EARTH

Type: Beast-Warrior/Effect

ATK: 1700

Def: 1200

You can skip your Draw Phase to add 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your Hand, then shuffle your Deck.

Eagle Warrior

Attribute: WIND

Type: Beast-Warrior/Effect

ATK: 1400

DEF: 1400

You can skip your Draw Phase to add 1 Ritual Monster Card from your Deck to your Hand, then shuffle your Deck.

Offering of the Heart

Ritual Spell Card

Ritual Summon a "Sacrifice" Monster.

Coatlicue of the Sacrifice

Attribute: DARK

Type: Reptile/Ritual/Effect

Level: 10

ATK: 4000

DEF: 4000

You can skip your Draw Phase to add 1 Ritual Spell Card or 1 Ritual Monster Card from your Deck to your Hand, then shuffle your Deck.

Quetzalcoatl of the Sacrifice

Attribute: WIND

Type: Reptile/Ritual/Effect

Level: 10

ATK: 4000

DEF: 4000

As long as this Monster remains on the Field, any Monsters Tributed for a Ritual Summon are sent to the bottom of their ownner's Deck instead of the GY.

Tezcatlipoca of the Sacrifice

Attribute: DARK

Type: Beast/Ritual/Effect

Level: 10

ATK: 4000

DEF: 4000

Once per turn, you can Discard 1 card to add 1 Ritual Spell Card or Ritual Monster Card from your GY to your Hand.

Nanahuatzin of the Sacrifice

Attribute: LIGHT

Type: Pyro/Ritual/Effect

Level: 10

ATK: 4000

DEF: 4000

As long as this Monster remains on the Field, Ritual Spell Cards are returned to their owners' Hands when their effects resolve.

Tecuccitecatl of the Sacrifice

Attribute: LIGHT

Type: Rock/Ritual/Effect

Level: 10

ATK: 4000

DEF: 4000

For each "Sacrifice" Ritual Monster you control with a different name, reduce the Level requirements of all Ritual Summons by 1 (the Level requirements cannot go below 1).

Fudge it, I'm gonna post those two overpowered fan cards that should never have been. Folder'd, for a reason.

    Final GEAR
  • Final GEAR - End of the World
    DIVINE / Level 12
    [Pendulum Scales: 0]
    (Machine/Integration/Pendulum/Effect)
Pendulum Effect: Select 1 Pendulum Monster on the field or in either player's Extra Deck (face-up). This card's Pendulum Effect becomes the same as the selected card's Pendulum Effect.
Monster Effect: This card is always treated as a Normal, Effect, Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, and Link Monster. The original Level and Rank of this card is always 12. The original Attribute of this card is also treated as DARK, LIGHT, EARTH, FIRE, WATER, and WIND. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by banishing 7 "GEAR" monsters that list themselves as Integration Material Monsters. If this card is Integration Summoned, place 1 Final GEAR Counter on this card for every 1000 Life Points you have (max. 7). This card can be switched into Defense Position. The original ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters (other than this card, the cards used for its Integration Summon, and Token Monsters) becomes 0, and the original ATK and DEF is equal to the totals of the monsters' combined ATK and DEF. You can negate any card effects that targets this card, except those of Token Monsters. All Spell & Trap Card Zones this card points to can be treated as Monster Card Zones. You can remove 1 Final GEAR Counter to Special Summon 1 Integration Material Monster used to Integration Summon this card, OR: You can banish 1 Integration Material Monster to place 1 Final GEAR Counter on this card (max. 7). All Token Monsters your opponent controls have their effects that prevent them from declaring an attack negated. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone.
    ATK ? / DEF ? / LINK 8 (all eight arrows)
  • Final GEAR - End of the World: Karamatsu Shinju
    DIVINE / Level 13
    [Pendulum Scales: 0]
    [Machine/Integration/Pendulum/Effect]
Pendulum Effect: Select 1 Pendulum Monster on the field or in either player's Extra Deck (face-up). This card's Pendulum Effect becomes the same as the selected card's Pendulum Effect.
Monster Effect: This card is always treated as a Normal, Effect, Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum and Link Monster. The original Level and Rank of this card is always 13. The original Attribute of this card is also treated as DARK, LIGHT, EARTH, FIRE, WATER and WIND. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by banishing 7 "GEAR" monsters that list themselves as Integration Material Monsters and 1 "Final GEAR - End of the World" that you control. If this card is Integration Summoned: Destroy all Field Spells on the field, then activate 1 "World GEAR" Field Spell in your hand, Deck or Graveyard in your Field Zone. Neither player can activate Field Spells other than "World GEAR" Field Spells. Also, place 1 Final GEAR Counter on this card for every 500 Life Points you have (max. 14). This card can be switched into Defense Position. The original ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters (other than this card, the card used for its Integration Summon, and Token Monsters) becomes 0, and the original ATK and DEF of this card is equal to twice the totals of the monsters' combined ATK and DEF. This card cannot be destroyed by battle, except with a Token Monster. You can negate any card effect that targets this card or another card you control, except those of Token Monsters. All Spell & Trap Card Zones this card points to can be treated as Monster Card Zones. The hand size limit of both players become 11. You can remove 2 Final GEAR Counters to Special Summon 1 Integration Material Monster used to Integration Summon this card, OR: You can banish 1 Integration Material Monster to place 2 Final GEAR Counters on this card (max. 14). All Token Monsters your opponent controls have their effect(s) that prevent them from declaring an attack negated. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Destroy all cards on the field, except Token Monsters, also all Token Monsters can attack twice this turn, then you can place this card in your Pendulum Zone and if you do, its Pendulum Scales become 13.
    ATK ? / DEF ? / LINK 8 (all eight arrows)

The idea was to use them in a overly-complicated fan fic where the Decoy Protagonist undergoes a Face–Heel Turn and her beloved ends up having to duel her, but is at best able to force a draw. Summoning these monstrosities would require monsters like, say, "Earth GEAR" or "Fire GEAR" or whatever, each representing one of the monster types at the time (Normal, Effect, Ritual, Fusion, Xyz, Pendulum, Link). The whole "Integration" thing was just inspired by anime!Z-ARC though.
Later on, he'd have a new Deck that focuses on Token Monsters, and end up defeating her with an Effect Monster that treats itself as a Token Monster. (Unfortunately, these broken cards were just two of the few I didn't lose the notes for in January last year. Though, it's probably for the best, haha. What the fudge was I thinking with these two? ;-; )

And now, for some (hopefully) less broken cards:

  • Serpent of the Mender's Fluff
    [Sea Serpent / Effect]
Once per turn: If you control 1 or more "Mender's Fluff Token(s)", this card cannot be destroyed by battle.
    EARTH / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1200
  • Biological Apocalypse Ritual Dragon
    [Dragon / Ritual / Effect]
Must first be Ritual Summoned, and cannot be Ritual Summoned except with "Biological Apocalypse Ritual". Cannot be targeted by the effects of Spell/Trap Cards. Inflicts doubled battle damage when it battles a monster in the same column as an opponent's Spell or Trap Card, and if it does, banish that Spell or Trap.
    DARK / Level 7 / ATK 2300 / DEF 2500
  • Stardust Rose Dragon
    [Dragon / Fusion / Effect]
"Stardust Dragon" + "Black Rose Dragon"
Must first be Fusion Summoned. When this card is Fusion Summoned: You can destroy all cards on the field. When a card or effect is activated that would destroy a card(s) on the field (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. During the End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this card from your GY.
    WIND / Level 10 / ATK 3700 / DEF 2800
  • Fairy Hunter
    [Warrior / Effect]
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Fairy-Type monster: Destroy that monster.
DARK / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1500

My intent with "BARD" was to make it a counterpart of sorts to "Chemical Apocalypse Ritual Dragon" (or "CARD").
As for "Stardust Rose Dragon", I'm honestly surprised we haven't gotten any Fusion Monsters using Signer Dragons yet. surprised

Okay, I'm speaking as someone who doesn't know anything about Pendulum Monsters, so I might be completely wrong, but aren't they basically half-Monster, half-Spell card? I'm thinking, what if there was a Pendulum Monster where the Monster half is based on the Pharoah Atem and the Spell card half is based on the Millennium Puzzle? Would that even make sense with how Pendulum Monsters work?

Irene (4 Score & 7 Years Ago)

It is correct, yeah. Of course, making the card work is a bit more confusing than that.

Pretty much just that, a Pendulum monster based on both Atem and the Puzzle. Again, I don't know shit about Pendulum Monsters, so I had no ideas for how to make it work. Probably stuff related to abilities that Atem and the Millennium Puzzle had, so Heart of The Cards, Shadow Games, etc.

Well, drawing the card you need is part of it. So the Pendulum Effect could be a hard once per turn, you could draw 1 card as normal, but put it on the bottom of your deck if you don't like it, and then draw 1 more card.

The harder part is a Monster effect. Also, I'd say either it's Pendulum Scale, Level, or both should be 7, since The Dark Magician is the most notable one for him. You could also based it around Level/Scale 2, since there's some various Pharaoh cards that came out(the ones related to Fusioh Richie).

https://yemachu.github.io/cardmaker/ This website could help you understand its workings a little. Namely where everything goes. Anything else you need, like how scales overall work?

Deadeye Duelshot
Level 3 EARTH
[ Warrior / Effect ]
? ATK / 0 DEF

This card's ATK is equal to the number of Effect Monsters face-up on your opponent's field that say "(Quick Effect)" in their text x 1500. Monsters can not activate their effects in response to attack declarations involving this card. Battle damage inflicted to your opponent by this card is halved.

Is there a card based on the stage advantage Mako gets in his first duel against Yugi? Y'know, where he can put monsters under the water and hide them? If not, there should be, maybe like this:

  • Ocean Depths

  • Field Spell

  • This face-up card's name is also treated as "Umi". You cannot control monsters on the field aside from WATER monsters. If you do, send those monsters to the GY. You can summon Fish, Sea Serpent, and Aqua monsters in face-down Attack position, without announcing their names. If you activate a face-down monster's effect or it battles, you must flip that monster face-up.

I've been playing Majespecters in Master Duel for the N/R Festival and got inspired.

Majespecter Dragon - Ryu
Link 1 WIND Spellcaster Link Effect Monster
ATK 1800
Link: Bottom
Materials: 1 Level 4 or lower WIND Spellcaster monster
If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Majespecter" monster from your hand or face-up Extra Deck. You can Tribute 1 WIND Spellcaster monster; add "Majesty's Pegasus" from your Deck to you hand. If a WIND Spellcaster monster is Tributed to activate a card effect: you can Special Summon 1 "Majespecter" monster from your hand or face-up Extra Deck. You can only use each effect of "Majespecter Dragon - Ryu" once per turn. Cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

So, I've been kind of piecing together the idea of an Archetype based on the Millennium Items. All of them are Continuous Spell Cards that simulate their anime/manga effects. Plus, there's a Ritual Spell based on the Millennium Stone that uses all 7 Millennium Items to Ritual Summon Zorc Necrophades as a boss monster for the archetype.

So two weeks ago I was playing around with that card maker thing that got linked a few posts above, and got some pretty unusual (probably) stuff.

Aeonian Bright Light
Pendulum Continuous Trap Card
Scales: 11
Pendulum Effect: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Aeonian" monsters. If this card in the Pendulum Zone is destroyed: Banish it, also banish one monster your opponent controls.
Trap Effect: Activate only if you control a face-up LIGHT "Aeonian" monster. Once per turn, when your opponent declares an attack: Negate that attack, then switch the attacking monster into face-up Defense Position. If this card leaves the field: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone.

Seething Sable Sorceress
Level 1 / DARK
Scales: -5
[Spellcaster / Dark Synchro / Pendulum / Effect]
Pendulum Effect: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters from your Extra Deck, except DARK monsters.
Monster Effect: 1 Dark Tuner - 1+ non-Tuner monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a DARK monster.
ATK/ 2150 DEF/ 1000

Bizarre Fire Elemental
Rank -4 / FIRE
[Pyro / Xyz / Effect]
2 Level -4 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card using 2 Level 4 FIRE Pyro-Type monsters as material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; inflict 800 points of damage to your opponent. This card cannot declare a direct attack during the turn this effect is activated.
ATK/ 1950 DEF/ 1400

Cyber Star Idol~♥
Level -7 / LIGHT
Scales: 7 (left) / -7 (right)
[Cyborg / Ritual / Pendulum / Effect]
Pendulum Effect:
Monster Effect: Must be Ritual Summoned with Star Idol Ritual, and cannot be Ritual Summoned any other way. You can only control 1 "Cyber Star Idol~♥".
• While in Attack Position: This card gains 1500 ATK.
• While in Defense Position: This card gains 1500 DEF.
ATK/ 1000 DEF/ 1000

Cybernetic Lass - Galichhe
DARK / Arrows: none (initially)
Scales: 1
[Cyberse / Link / Pendulum / Effect]]
Pendulum Effect: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except Cyberse monsters. All "Cybernetic Lass" Link Monsters you control gain 200 ATK.
Monster Effect: 1+ Cyberse monster(s)
Must first be Link Summoned. Gains ATK equal to its Link Rating × 600. During each of your Standby Phases: Increase this card's Link Rating by 1 (max. 8), and if you do, its Link Arrow(s) point from the top arrow in a clockwise direction. If you control a "Cybernetic Lass" Link Monster, this card cannot be targeted for an attack. If this Link Summoned card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can place it in your Pendulum Zone.
ATK/ ? LINK - 0
(Name is a corruption of "glitch". You could say that, due to a glitch, Galichhe has an unstable Link Rating. :p )

Those were just for total silliness, but now I'm wondering, could any of the ideas behind some of them work somehow, if they're properly thought out?
(Mainly the Pendulum Trap, the Pendulum Link and the Link 0 thing.)

Thought this would be interesting for the thread: apparently there's a Twitter account that has Ai generate custom Yugioh cards. Some choice examples:

    Dodger Dragon
Dodger Dragon

Level 4 DARK/Dragon Effect Monster

800 ATK/1500 DEF

When exactly 1 Dragon-Type monster you cintrol is destoryed and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect?

    Sillva,Queen of Fearing Flames
Sillva, Queen of Fearing Flames

Link 3 FIRE/Winged Beast Effect Link Monster with arrows pointing up, bottom left, and bottom right

2+ Effect Monsters

If this card is Linked Summoned: You can banish all cards in your hand. If this card is Linked Summoned: You can target up to 2 of your banished monsters; shuffle them into the Deck, then negate 3 effects on the field for each card sent to the Deck this way, until the end of this turn. You can only use 1 "Sillva, Queen of Fearing Flames" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Some of those are just… how to best put it… bizarre? (For lack of better word.)
I mean.
A Level 4 Fusion Monster with a Flip Effect? Never seen that before.
Or an Equip Spell Card that can be equipped to two monsters simultaneously?
How about a card that lets you destroy up to fifteen face-up cards on the field if a 0 ATK monster in your Extra Monster Zone's destroyed?
Or an Xyz Monster that lets you double your opponent's monster's original ATK and DEF (and not "until the end of this turn" either)?
Seriously, it's kinda hard not to laugh at the results. [lol]
Kinda reminds me of that Pokémon generated by AI thing that was posted in the Pokémon thread a while back, haha.

That all aside, I was bored and figured I'd think some silly cards up, just for the heck of it.

For the darkness…

Shadow Liege, Cursed Ruler of Shadows
DARK / Level 12
[Fiend/Effect]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Tribute Summoned with 3+ Tributes. Gains 900 ATK for each DARK monster Tributed for its Tribute Summon. If this card is destroyed by battle: Special Summon as many Level 4 or below DARK monsters as you can from your Graveyard, and if you do, their Levels become 1. Monsters Special Summoned by this effect cannot be Tributed for the Tribute Summon of a Level 9 or higher DARK monster.
ATK: ? / DEF: 3500
… and the light…
Radiant Liege, Blessed Ruler of Radiance
LIGHT / Level 12
[Fairy/Effect]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Tribute Summoned with 3+ Tributes. Gains 900 DEF for each LIGHT monster Tributed for its Tribute Summon. If this card is destroyed by battle: Special Summon as many Level 4 or below LIGHT monsters as you can from your Graveyard, and if you do, their Levels become 1. Monsters Special Summoned by this effect cannot be Tributed for the Tribute Summon of a Level 9 or higher LIGHT monster.
ATK: 3500 / DEF: ?

Sorry for the double post/bump combo…

On the AI-generated front, we got this crazy card:

Aitsu the Light Monarch
LIGHT / Level 9
[Thunder / Fusion / Effect]
"The Shining Winged Beast" + "Dark Rose Dragon"
The three are together with a crescent sword; this card gains 1500 ATK/DEF for every 500 ATK/DEF you control. While this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each of their banished cards. Once per turn, when an opponent's monster activates a card or effect (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it, and if you do that, destroy it, then destroy it, and if you do that, add that card to your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard: You can destroy it.
ATK: 2800 / DEF 1800

And from my side:

Chemical Apocalypse Venom Dragon
DARK / Level 8
[ Dragon / Fusion / Effect ]
2 DARK Dragon monsters
Must first be Fusion Summoned. The effects of all Flip Monsters on the field are negated. If this card destroys a Flip Monster in battle: banish that card, also this card gains 200 ATK. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.
ATK 2800 / DEF 2100

Chemical Apocalypse Rebellion Dragon
DARK / Rank 7
[ Dragon / Xyz / Effect ]
2 Level 7 DARK monsters
Can also be Xyz Summoned by using 1 "Chemical Apocalypse Ritual Dragon" and 1 DARK Dragon Xyz Monster as material. Must first be Xyz Summoned. The effects of all Flip Monsters on the field are negated. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict halved piercing battle damage to your opponent. This card gains half the ATK of Defense Position monsters it destroys in battle. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material; halve the ATK of 1 monster on your opponent's field, and if you do, gain Life Points equal to the lost ATK.
ATK 2500 / DEF 2100

After watching this video, I decided to try to make the Gate Guardian and Labyrinth cards workable. I'm just gonna speed through my thoughts, so they're not gonna be written out perfectly.

  • Suijin - (archetype name)
    • Once per turn, you can target an attacking monster, make its attack points equal 0 for the remainder of the turn.
    • A "Gate Guardian" monster that uses this card as material gains the following effect: Once per turn, while your opponent controls a monster, this monster can attack directly.
  • Kazejin - (archetype name)
    • Once per turn, you can target an attacking monster, make its attack points equal 0 for the remainder of the turn.
    • A "Gate Guardian" monster that uses this card as material gains the following effect: Once per turn, when a monster declares an attack, you can change that attack target to any other monster on the field.
  • Sanga - (archetype name)
    • Once per turn, you can target an attacking monster, make its attack points equal 0 for the remainder of the turn.
    • A "Gate Guardian" monster that uses this card as material gains the following effect: Once per turn, when a monster declares an attack, increase that monster's attack by the ATK of one material attached to this monster.
  • Gate Guardian - (archetype name)
    • Material - three (archetype name) monsters with different names.
    • If this card would be destroyed, you can detach one material from it instead.

And support:

  • Layrinth Wall - (archetype name)
    • Pendulum monster, scale 4
    • Spell effect: ??
    • Monster effect: This monster cannot be tributed. While this monster is in defense position, it cannot be targeted for attacks or effects, and it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect.
  • Magical Labyrinth - (archetype name)
    • Pendulum monster, scale 8 (all other stats same as Labyrinth Wall)
    • Spell effect: Once per turn, you can add one (archetype name) monster to your hand. Once per turn, you can special summon one (archetype name) monster from your hand.
    • Monster effect: This monster cannot be tributed. While this monster is in defense position, it cannot be targeted for attacks or effects, and it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect.

And then I figured I'd make Wall Shadow and Labyrinth Tank low level archetypal effect monsters that can attack anywhere.

I know the ideas need a lot of work. My main thought was to make Gate Guardian workable by combining Pendulum and XYZ mechanics, but I don't entirely understand Pendulum mechanics.

Castle Vampire

  • Field Spell
  • Card effects cannot be activated in response to any of this card's effects. You can only activate this card's effects while you control a "Vampire" monster, except "Vampire Killer". Each of the following effects of "Castle Vampire" can only be activated once per turn, and can be activated during the damage step. When a card is sent directly from your opponent's deck to the graveyard, or a Zombie monster is sent from either player's hand or deck to the graveyard, you can activate one of the following effects:
    • Banish that card face down.
    • Set that card to your side of the field. The effect(s) of cards with that card's name cannot be activated for the rest of the turn.
    • Negate the effect of all cards with that card's name until the end of your next turn. If it is a monster card, you can then gain life points equal to that monster's DEF.

Designed to hate on "Foolish" card effects, mass deck thinning, and Ghost Girl hand traps; to give Lady, Lord, and Grace something proactive to do; to get some of the harder to normal summon "Vampire" monsters to the field in combination with other Vampire card effects; and to facilitate getting monsters onto the field for a tribute or XYZ summon.

If only there was a way to make Vampire Vamp useful. I wish it didn't have that effect limiting it to cards stronger than it, since that basically means it can be used at most once.

So how broken would a monster be with a win condition that requires your opponent to gain a certain amount of Life Points through said monster's effect?
(Like. "If your opponent gains 8000 or more Life Points through this card's effect: You win the Duel." Or something like that.)
