Oh someone else who liked the Bshow. Most wrestling fans I talk to complain about how their favorite wrestlers are "banished" to shows like Superstars, then refuse to watch them.
I always preferred Smackdown to Raw too. Smackdown's ratings aren't as high as they were on free tv as they are on cable though. Do you think they should move back to free tv or does WWE get enough money from cable to justify the ratings drop?

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackSmack Down is far better than RAW. It's a shame it's been infected with Randy Orton.
Shame it's currently failing miserably however.

I have a podcast! I think that you should listen to it.What's up with all the people that think Kane would somehow magically be better than he is now if he was still wearing a mask?
They just can't let the Attitude Era go. That's really all it is.
the thing is the attitude era is what we can connect with, and pretty much the the good ol days. We can't look back on that then just cope with what we have now. The attitude era was not the great golden era we remember it as, but still, it had actually stories, titles meant something and the talent was best in the world. It's not that we can' t let it go, it's that we just cant take this crap now after the attitude era practically breastfed us
Brotha always gettin it firstand for the mask thing. Kane's fugly, pure and simple. if he botcvhes we'd rather see him like scott stiener who's hidden in facial hair and tumors.
Brotha always gettin it firstThey still have talent among the best the world can offer. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Sin Cara, Kaval, Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Alberto Del Rio, Kane...
They've always had the best among the world could offer. The attitude era was sadly destined not to last because of Media Watchdogs, remember right to censor. The watchdogs were also partially responsible for killing ECW. For titles? About the only ones that don't have any meaning are the tag teams...and they really should do something with the Divas. All that talent should be as good or better than the division was through 2002-2004, the lesser talents should just job or valet.
The tag teams, eh I don't know, if a good tag team shows up they will break them apart hoping for the next Shawn Michaels. The writing? Well the stories haven't been great, but they also haven't been about live hand births, transgendered body builders, humping puppets or Beaver Cleavage. In fact I can't remember the last pregnancy angle in WWE. So they are kind of trading hit or miss for mediocrity, I just wish for more time dedicated to matches. And Tables.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackSure they have great talent, but they don't use it. Bryan, Sin Cara & Cody Rhodes aren't even on tonight's PPV. Punk is constantly denied the top heel stop he deserves. And the booking is just painfully schizophrenic.
A lot of the problem is that the only people to get pushed are the people that WWE thinks should be over. And I'm not Cena bashing - the guy has worked hard for his spot, but it's true. Look at the current situation with Zack Ryder, he's massively over but they refuse to push him. They also seem so reluctant to take a chance on anyone who isn't Cena or Super Orton, I mean, if they'd never just taken a chance on Stone Cold and let him do his thing what would have happened?
The Divas division could be saved fairly easily, even without Kharma. To start off, call them 'Female Superstars' or some such, the word Diva a) immediately removes credibility and b) is slightly sexist. Then stop with the oversexualised outfits, it just seems silly with all the family stuff they harp on about. Then give Natalya the fucking belt for fuck sake. She, talented, over and. . . used as a valet most weeks, urgh.
The Tag Division is just a joke. They need to split the belts up again and have one on each brand. And get them of Michael Mc Gillicutty and David Otunga, they are not over, and terrible workers. You know they haven't been on TV since winning the belts right? I've seen the idea of a new Smack Down Six thrown around, and it could really work. Have Sin Cara and Bryan as one team, Di Biase as another, then whoever, pull some people from developmental, or something.
Speaking of Sin Cara, Triple H needs to kicked in his steroid-shrunken testicles for not sending him to developmental, where he could learn the style and y'know ENGLISH.
Also, Kane and the Big Show should retire soon, because they've done it all and now they're just old men. And the only people who like watching old men wrestle are TNA marks.

I have a podcast! I think that you should listen to it.edit, Sexualized outfits? You're complaining about how divas dress when most men where a pair of underwear, knee braces and nothing else? I could have gotten behind you if you said no more bikini matches but those haven't happened since they stopped giving guest hosts power.
I think WWE only holds these fan votes just to prove how much the internet fans are in the minority.
Kelly Kelly, new divas champion, not Beth Phoenix? Though it was nice to see it confirmed that the people do hate Michael Cole more than Vickie Guerrero. Michale Cole wins because he was booed louder? That's a Wesley if I ever saw one.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThis just in! Monday Night Raw's power to the people had technical difficulty do to WWE's service provider dropping the ball! Sin Cara was actually voted by fans to face Evan Bourne. Which proves he is getting over! Ban Vickie Guerrero received 90 of the vote for Kofi's rematch stipulation proven fans still hate the most hateable Heel in WWE today! Though according the live audience, they still hate Michael Cole more.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI'm wondering just how much of that was actually a Work. Pretty awesome either way though. I love Punk's mic skills.

I wouldn't be posting at this forum if I didn't think it a necessary step. There's some key Worked Shoot things here. Hell Vince let him. But some key Worked Shoot traits are missing. No music, no montage.
And Punk was going to be fired anyways...
Wait the 4th of July episode got filmed too. Guess what happens ladies and gents?

To Be Updated when I'm not LazyIts a Worked Shoot. He even delves into You Bastard!. Admittedly they aren't as common in WWE as in WCW so its more special here.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThe TV listings and the smarks spoiled that it's a Worked Shoot.
Punk's Facebook was shut down though so Vince did damn good.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyWhat a show, what a main event.
The Usos prove they are the best tag team in WWE... not that there is any competition.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackIt'd be nice to see a Triple Threat match, involving Rey Mysterio Jr (and there are quite a few of those), that DOESN'T basically consist of two wrestlers taking turns beating him up.
Also, I thought that was a pretty amazing promo at the end there.

I wouldn't be posting at this forum if I didn't think it a necessary step. This whole Punk angle is probably the best put together storyline I have seen in a while. The Worked Shoot from RAW was one of the best promos since Austin 3:16 and the stuff with John Cena and Vince Mc Mahon was also well done. All in all, I am suitably hyped for MITB.
Also, please, WWE creative, get Eve the fuck off my television. She's just a black hole of talent, charisma and popularity, news flash: nobody cares about Eve. Also, whilst your doing that, get Natalya the fuck on my television. She's got everything going for her and is also very over. She had a damn good match with Alicia Fox on Superstars this week.
Also, Zack Ryder. Discuss.

I have a podcast! I think that you should listen to it.All 3 matches have been pretty good, but only one wasn't on Super Stars...
Zach Ryder, he's a good wrestler, but there are lots of good wrestlers in WWE. He really doesn't stand out that much compared to a Tyson Kidd Primo, Hawkins or JTG. Honestly though, JTG is a tag team wrestler. Cryme Tyme and the Usos should be feuding over the title! Zach and Hawkins at least had some reason to break up, as their team was unremarkable but they are good wrestlers.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI think WWE already gave away who is going to win the MITB matches(Sheamus and ADR), and I would like it if both of them use their briefcases on the PPV(Sheamus on Christian and ADR on Punk).
Zack needs some new catchphrases. Plural. Right now it's a trio of disjointed epitaphs that are uninspiring individually, and together are just plain confusing. And his "woo woo woo" is too unenthusiastic even without comparing it to the likes of Ric Flair. I think his charisma is okay, but he desperately needs some new material.
He's certainly been creative enough in trying to get himself over in spite of WWE, and judging by the signs he's been successful in that regard. I think he at least deserves a shot at a decent push to see what would happen.

I'm a big fan of his. His last two matches on Superstars have been solid, and he certainly has earned himself a push. I get the idea that he needs new material, but for that they would have to actually let him cut a promo.
He definitely stands out though, the fact he has half the locker room and Hall of Fame praising left and right stands as testament to that. I could see him feuding with Dolph Ziggler, I could see that being interesting. I imagine as real life friends they would have plenty of chemistry. And it has the added bonus of getting Dolph out of his back and forth with Kofi Kingston.
I just saw Destination X and I must say, it was a very good PPV with only one match that I would rate below three stars (Kendrick vs. Abyss). The main event was amazing, but then, it was AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniel, so what do you expect?

I have a podcast! I think that you should listen to it.Speaking as someone who lives near Boston, Punk's promo was delightful. Wherever he ends up signing onto next, I'll probably be making an effort to watch.
I wouldn't be posting at this forum if I didn't think it a necessary step.
Yeah, I loved the concept of Superstars: Keep the stories to a minimum and showcase talent you didn't normally see. But at least we still have Smackdown, right? Smackdown will always be the A-Show in my book.
