Dang the vision. I forgot about that.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I admittedly only remembered because people in the comments were talking about it.
I wonder how Yamcha scales to #16.
He probably doesn't have 16's raw power, but his martial arts experience likely makes up for the difference.
At any rate he's fairing better against I'K'L than 16 did.
#IceBearForPresidentHe's got to be way stronger than 16.
16 got his ass beat in seconds, and Yamcha is dodging all I'K'L's attacks and hurt him with one punch.
Piccolo and 17 were even in power and Piccolo's martial arts experience didn't give him a noticeable edge.

The comment predictions were correct.
Yamcha seems to clearly have the upper hand, although perhaps he's getting cocky enough to make a mistake. It wouldn't be the first time he underestimated an opponent and got in trouble for it, although maybe that's not quite true for this version of him.
Shit. This is awesome, but he's doing that god-damned thumb pose. Plus, the last time we saw him get this cocky, he ended up in a certain pose....
Our best bet is that he's already experienced something like that and has learned from it, and this won't mean anything.
One Strip! One Strip! This feels like such an odd time for him to make that pose/quote, given how he was acting with the other Androids prior to this.
He's just fulfilling a DBZ tradition.
Looking ahead to after this current conflict is over, I wonder if this is what finally pushes Vegito over the edge. Considering that he's been defeated by what he views as underhanded magic tricks, and then sidelined due to the same. Now he's either been killed or will be put in a near death condition until a healer gets to him by yet more magic. He's definitely been shown to be petty enough that this could push him past the brink.
Vegito was formed before Vegeta had his catharsis. Even with plenty of Goku modulation, he still has a massive stick up his ass.
Can you believe that? Cool Saiyans!
So he's more or less talking I'kll down now, but we finally might be getting some reveals about XII.
One Strip! One Strip! With this development I certainly suspect that I'K'L' will get got by XXI within two or three pages at most.
Ah, so XXI's doing a thing a could make a City of Heroes reference about but that no one would get.
The thing that surprised me most is how XXI is pronounced.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Oh so that's how that's pronounced.
#IceBearForPresidentThat's come up before, but I believe it's the first time in the comic.
XXI being brought up reminds me, actually, that a lot of people assumed that Yamcha's moment in Bardock's vision would be referring to him being immune to XXI's magic - the fact that XXI consulted another figure for a way beat 18 and used a remote shutdown to do it reinforced that belief for people.
Maybe both I'K'L and XXI are unable to effect Androids, I suppose.
Can't say I was expecting this turn.
Still, makes sense for I'K'L' to try and strand everyone if he can't deal with the largest threats as he'd like to.
... increasingly on team I'k'l. Even if none of the individuals there are threats to any particular universe, the Vargas are undeniably a multiversal threat due to trivializing multiversal travel coupled with an astounding stupidity.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Of course, the tech would be outlawed (which I assume means destroyed) by the Kais of their universe, as it should. Unfortunately, said Kais decided to use the tech exactly once for a f*cking sports tournament.
I think they have a much greater responsibility regarding the danger posed than the Vargas. You can't fault a sentient species for pursuing technological development.
I mean, they did lampshade this in the comic itself that rather than having a grand symposium of the greatest scientific and philosophical minds throughout the multiverse, which in turn could have bettered all universes, that the Kais decide to have a bash-em-up instead.
I'm pretty sure the Vargas are being made patsies in the whole thing, since it's been mentioned once or twice that they don't fully understand how the dimension-travelling technology works themselves, and they also just happened to discover super-Scouter technology at the same time as dimensional travel, which was also necessary for the tournament.
Well, he's doing well so far, but he hasn't had a chance to fight back yet. And time will tell if his leg injury proves to be his undoing.
But still, Yamcha might save the day here.
One Strip! One Strip!
