No, not that kind.
So where is your avatar from? Care to share what avatars you use, or discuss avatars in general?
So where is your user picture from? Care to share what pics you use on other forums? (I know we used to have a thread about this, but it seems it was lost in The Great Crash.)
My current avatar, and all my previous avatars, are from Gunnerkrigg Court. So it's probably safe to assume that all my future avatars will be from there as well.

I'm just fine and dandy, thank you very much...
I don't need a jetpack — all I need is hate.Dang, Dwellington, you have a slightly freaky avatar.
Well, mine is just Simon Belmont from Castlevania, hence the title "Vampire-Killing Troper".
Others I have lined up include:
- King from Cave Story
- Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion (from the Winamp skin, and with a line showing Franki Love's "Shadow" playing)
- Mia from Golden Sun
- Jenna from Golden Sun
- Lemeza in the Temple of the Sun from La Mulana
- a clip from Dudley's Dungeon, representing Nethack
- Leviathan from Mega Man Zero
- Ultros and a four-ton weight from Final Fantasy VI
- an eye-flashing Ridley from the official fancruft for Metroid: Zero Mission
Lina Inverse, doing what I end up doing far too often online.
I'm too lazy for a signature.Something I doodled on a piece of scratch paper while waiting for a Biology exam to finish. Thought it looked interesting, redrew it in Flash, saved it as a GIF, and have been using it ever since. If you see that spiral-headed stick-guy with a top hat anywhere else, it's probably me.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...A smiley just took a bite out of a rainbow, in case you can't see the text it says: "You don't taste like skittles at all!"
Umbran Climax◊Those who've visited my old website know that I'm notorious for changing my avatar every month or so. I've gotten a bit more stable about it since the site shut down last year. I held on to Geo from Mega Man Star Force for about four or five months before switching to Neku from The World Ends With You.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!Raidou Kuzunoha the Fourteenth. Currently the subject of Entry Pimp by me. Only silent protagonist to hold claim to being my favorite character within a game, much less of all. Still can't pinpoint what makes me like the guy so much, exactly, but still do.

My Raidou fanfic. Read it?I needed one, and I couldn't find a Perrault image. In addition, I enjoy SpockSpeak, so AI.

What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war."HE PUNCHED OUT ALL MY BLOOD!"
Yes. The Heavy from Team Fortress advising you against being anywhere near his precious Sandvich.
Grabbed off of deviantART.
Mine is from the webcomic 9th Elsewhere. The text says "oblivious to the conversation land." The site seems to have fallen into disrepair, though, and I can't find it on the Wayback Machine.

Old-timey plague suit, mask front and center. I actually didn't recognize it from the front, but a side picture◊ gave me some perspective.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.Hah! I thought it was Spy Vs Spy at first.
Mine is a parody of the default avatar from the LG15: the resistance fora. I stopped using it there because people complained that it was too depressing.

I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.Mine is John Cleese. 'Cause he's pretty much awesome.
Darn you, 24601!Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, one of the few animes I like. And yes, thats Colonel Sanders.

Is.

Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? For some reason, the three above avatars creep me out...
My Raidou fanfic. Read it?My avatar is a post modern take of the contradictions of daily life, expressed through the combination of innocence with war and soft with hard. Common yet bizarre, with a minimalistically complex design, this unique artpiece depicts the last remnants of human nature being consumed by blind ideologies and the constant motion of scientific progress, struggling to mantain it's shape in a tragic, hopeless battle. However, it also gives a message of hope, as the faith deposited in "new life" will guide it through the path of balance and trascendental happiness.
It is basically a shopped baby (my niece) face, badly pasted on a knight drawing.

Mine is obviously Haruhi Suzumiya, telling you to obey.
Oh yes, I might as well actually EXPLAIN my avatar.
I saw a link in one of the Nightmare Fuel pages to a screencap of a rather weird scene from End of EVA. Saw part of the image that was simultaneously freaky and strangely funny-looking and decided to crop it into my avatar.
And now mutant-chibi Rei stares at you every time I post in your threads. >:D
Changed my avatar upon watching "The Day of Atonement" and concluding that LG15: the resistance is So Bad Its Horrible.
Now it's Reynardine! Because everybody loves Reynardine.

Mine is a cropped image of the eponymous protagonist of Lucifer, which also explains my caption. This is the only forum I've ever stuck around for any length of time, and I can't remember what I used for avatars on any others.
