And we jump back an hour or two... (linky)
Strange, Gil was intent on going to the hospital a couple seconds ago... Probably he's fussing at being jerked all over the place unexpectedly. Or just being contrary. (We'll see Mamma eventually, I'm sure.)
And Vole still has coffee stains.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? How long has it been since reading it all? Who is Krosp again?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.There is a lot. I pretty much had forgotten Moloch;
Krosp is the King of Cats. Whose subjects are too ADD to obey.

I'm guessing he's just ticked off because that white Jagermonster is too damn overzealous. It'll probably try and stop him from going anywhere or doing anything until he's made a full recovery.
And more importantly, there's things he has to learn. That colourful gang of jagermonsters are some of the only jagers that never took up service with the Wulfenbach family. While the rest of their race swore to serve the Wulfenbachs until the return of their true Heterodyne masters, that little gang were secretly left out of it by the jagermonster generals so that they could search for a Heterodyne heir without anyone knowing about it. Meanwhile Vole is the only jagermonster who completely forsook his oaths to the Heterodynes and swore fealty to the Wulfenbachs instead. Call me crazy, but I don't think Gil's gonna get a chance to learn much now that Vole's turned up.
Hmm... Our mystery guest doesn't sound like another Jäger.
Could be Gil or Zeetha, or they could be introducing a new character.
Let me be on record saying I think it's Von Pinn, so if I'm right I can say I predicted it.

Maybe not another Jager, but it does sound like another psychotically violent killing machine with a pre-programmed drive to protect Agatha (except in the panel I linked to of course ).
And damn it all, brickman got that post in while I was busy searching the archives for funky evidence.
Von Pinn would be fun...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? But Von Pinn had pretty distinctive speech bubbles.
I say it's Zeetha, considering what she was up to last time we saw her. Which raises the question of how she got into that secret passageway...

Yeah well according to my link, Von Pinn has lots of different kinds of distinctive speech bubbles. So nerny!
More seriously though, I doubt Zeetha would be able to provoke that stunned look that Vole's got on his face right now. I mean Vole's a pretty badass dude, all actin' like none of the other jagermonsters in the room could stop him even if he tried. Zeetha's just some chick with a sword, but Von Pinn is one of the few characters in the books that even jagermonsters will admit can kick their asses.
Well, it looks like Jenka and Vole don't have a special relationship.
You're probably right about Zeetha. Even Gil yelling wouldn't be that surprising — he is a spark. The three stooges were intimidated, but not shocked by Agatha's madness way back in the circus.
I'm looking forward to the next page. I'm kinda hoping Von Pinn shows up sometime - I think she's still on Castle Wulfenbach though.
I predict that tonight's update will leave us hanging with another scene change.
There's always the off chance it's a Jager general. Not very likely since they all spoke with the same accents as the rest of the Jagers, but they did get their own selection of gnarly speech bubbles the last time we saw 'em.
Anywise, we should find out in the next two or three hours.
And it was Gil all along. Apparently he is still hopped up on awesome from zapping those clanks.
His reaction is understandable, though.

Yeah I have to admit I never saw it coming. I'd forgotten all about Gil's fearsome powers of asskickery, because it's just been so gosh darn long since we've seen him open up a can of whoopass without the aid of Science.
Yeah, you're right. I completely forgot that Gil was actually a super-capable fighter on his own (which is kinda embarrassing, considering the room full of dead bodies trying to kill the baron was so recent). Eh, Von Pinn wouldn't have made sense anyways. I just hope she shows up somewhere in the near future; she's an awesome character and she hasn't beem seen since book 3 or so.
Also, I think Phil likes high kicks, considering the first thing I thought of when I saw this comic was Vrin beating up Tarvek. Maybe I'm just noticing patterns that aren't there, but can anyone else find any high kicks in this comic?
There's also Gil kicking Othar. Twice.
Speaking of Othar, anybody read his Twitter? At the time of posting, this should be the first page of his tweets. It seems to update once a day.
EDIT: Haven't finished reading it yet, but if it's canon, a time window was made by a minor Spark. Then smashed by Othar.

Creepy.
In the comic, I wonder if Vole is going to be tamed or on a leash now, or if he'll have a fit. Maybe we'll finally find out what Vole's issues are.

It'll be interesting. About all we found out in Vole's first appearance is that he claims to have renounced the "jagertroth" and is now the only one of his kind not pledged to the Heterodyne family (apparently all the other jagermonsters are only serving the Wulfenbachs because Klaus had similar goals to the last Heterodyne Boy and he starts lots of wars, and their loyalty is conditional on the assumption that they'll be free to leave his service if a true Heterodyne heir is found). Everyone else claims that he didn't so much renounce jager society as get kicked out of it. And judging by his behavior when he tried to interrupt Agatha at the coffee house, he's got some sort of grudge against the Heterodynes.

You could be right. Gilgamesh and virtually the only Jaegermonsters worth paying attention to are in a cliffhanger that needs to be looked at sooner or later, and I'm sure Klaus and co. are busy thinking deep thoughts on how to solve everything.
But personally I'm hoping they stay with Agatha for a while. The longer it takes to cut to other characters, the longer it takes to cut to Krosp, King Of All Scrappies. And screw that. I don't want to sit through another scene involving Krosp unless he's spitted and eaten by jaegermonsters, and his bones are shot into the sun.
