This long standing and media spanning franchise has a tradition of rehiring the same actors for different parts, often parts involving masks and make-up prosthetics where their reappearance unlikely to be noticed by those who aren't looking for it.
Actors whose varied characters span more than one installment in the franchise:
- Warwick Davis has a long story of taking part to the franchise despite never being one of the leads, usually playing aliens with a short stature. He played Wicket Wystri Warrick the Ewok in Return of the Jedi when he was 12. He reprised the role for a cameo in 2019's The Rise of Skywalker, alongside his own son playing Wicket's son. In The Phantom Menace he played Wald (Anakin's Rodian friend), a Mos Espa merchant, and Weazel (a pod race spectator). He also doubled for Yoda, of all people, when he's walking at the end, before the George Lucas Altered Version. He also voiced Rukh in Star Wars Rebels, played Wollivan in The Force Awakens, played Weeteef Cyubee in Rogue One and Played Wodibin in The Last Jedi. Reprised his role as Weazel in Solo, a bit more prominently than in The Phantom Menace. Notably, Weazel is a human, so Davis plays him without an alien mask.
- Anthony Daniels is C-3PO in all the films and most other media the droid appears in as well as a slave in the Kessel spice mines named Tak in Solo and the Outlander Club patron Dannl Faytonni in Attack of the Clones.
- Ahmed Best plays Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy and voices him in other media addition to Outlander Club patron Achk Med-Beq in Attack of the Clones. He also played Kelleran Beq in The Mandalorian.
- Keisha Castle-Hughes played Queen Apailana in Revenge of the Sith and voiced Emerie Karr in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
- Andy Serkis portrayed Supreme Leader Snoke in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, and Kino Loy in Andor.
- Latesha Wilson played the muti-eyed Canto Bright patron Derla Pidys and fighter pilot Wilsa Teshlo in the sequel trilogy and Gani, a human High-Class Call Girl, in Andor.
- Sam Witwer appears in an Uncredited Role as a shoretrooper in Andor, after voicing numerous characters across a variety of Star Wars media over the years, but most notably Darth Maul, Emperor Palpatine, and Starkiller.
- James McArdle portrays Timm Karlo in Andor and previously appeared in The Force Awakens as Niv Lek, one of the X-Wing pilots attacking Starkiller Base.
- Sema-Tawi Smart played Ubialla Gheal in The Last Jedi and the singer Aurodia Ventafoli at Dryden Vos's party in Solo.
- Jon Favreau voiced Pre Vizsla in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rio Durant in Solo, and Paz Vizsla in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
- Vanessa Marshall voices Hera in Star Wars Rebels, Rook Kast in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Jan Ors in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.
- Bobby Moynihan voices Pintu Son-El in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Seezelslak in Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge, a trader in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Orka in Resistance and "Geezer" in Star Wars: Visions.
- Noshir Dalal voices Varko Grey in Star Wars: Squadrons, Rass Ordo in Star Wars: The Old Republic, Vice Admiral Rampart in Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Bode Akuna in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
- Liam O'Brien is the voice of Lieutenant Lyste in Star Wars Rebels, Jedi Master Estala Maru in Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, and in Star Wars: The Bad Batch voices Laney in "Rampage" as well as Bolo, one of Cid's men.
- Sam Riegel played minor voices in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order before voicing Ketch, one of Cid's men, in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
- Shelby Young is the voice of Leia in the Star Wars: Forces of Destiny shorts and Captain Bragg in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
- Helen Sadler, the voice of Rey in various side material, Vonreg in Star Wars: Squadrons, and the Kaminoan scientist at the end of "Kamino Lost" in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
- Cat Taber voices Mission Vao in Knights of the Old Republic, and plays an outright Expy of the same character as Vette in Star Wars: The Old Republic Taber also voices Leia in The Force Unleashed.
- Grey DeLisle voices Brianna the Handmaiden from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords ands the female Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
- Taran Killam who voiced a Stormtrooper in Resistance episode "Station to Station", voices Raspar Six, the Gotal trader, and the landspeeder driver in "Cornered" in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
- Tom Taylorson, the voice of Agent Raith of the First Order Raiders in Star Wars Resistance episode "The Relic Raiders", plays Roland Durand in Star Wars: The Bad Batch episode "Infested".
- Josh Brener voices the Toong workers in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Neeku Vozo on Star Wars Resistance.
- Donald Faison voices a super tactical droid in The Clone Wars episode "Old Friends Not Forgotten" and Hype in Star Wars Resistance.
- Jonathan Lipow voiced minor characters in Star Wars Resistance and the Ordo Moon Dragon and a refugee in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Video Games- The same actor who voices Scorch in Republic Commando is the same fellow one voicing Carth Onasi in Knights of the Old Republic''.
- Within the same game, Troy Baker voices Consular companion Zenith and expansion companion Theron Shan note
- Consular companion (of sorts) Holiday and Smuggler companion Risha? Tara Strong. Strong also voices several quest givers (the Republic ambassador to the Gree is the same voice she uses for Twilight Sparkle)
Western Animation
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars:
- Senator Mon Mothma and Senator Mina Bonteri are both close friends of Padmé and voiced by Kath Soucie (who had also played one of Cut Lawquane's children in one episode earlier). While they don't interact onscreen and Mothma only speaks for about three of her appearances while Bonteri is a One-Shot Character, the novel Queen's Shadow indicates that they're rivals (namely because Mothma believes in the Republic, while Bonteri does not and ultimately joins the Separatists), and Padmé thinks that the two women are similar.
- Robin Atkin Downes plays Cham Syndulla and Senator Rush Clovis, both of whom were supposed to be one-shot characters, but Cham appeared in another episode and Clovis would return for three more episodes. Cham would later appear a couple of times in Rebels.
- Star Wars Rebels: Eric Lopez plays Cadet Oleg in a Season 1 episode before later playing Jonner Jin in a Season 3 episode.
