• Heartwarming Moments: The show has quite a few; perhaps because it's a Christmas Episode.
  • Peter telling Meg that he does mall Santa gigs every Christmas because his job doesn't pay enough and he doesn't want to disappoint Lois by not having enough money for the holiday season.
  • When Peter and Lois find out that Meg's "boyfriend" is actually Santa, they take the time to sit with her, talk about what she experienced, and encourage her to follow him. Peter in particular remarks that if Santa made her happy, then he wants Meg to find him—because all he really wants is for his daughter to be happy. Considering Meg's status as a perennial Butt-Monkey, seeing such actual concern and good parenting from the Griffins is touching.
  • Brian realizes that what happened at the mall has severely upset Stewie and goes to extreme lengths to make sure that he doesn't develop a lifelong fear of Santa. To that end, he disguises himself in a Santa suit and delivers a loving speech about how Stewie will never lose his Christmas magic if he continues to believe. Stewie is genuinely touched by his kindness (and he doesn't realize it's Brian, either) and becomes happy again.
• Squick: The episode's premise is that Meg reaches orgasm from bouncing on the lap of a Mall Santa, with her infant brother on her own lap, surrounded by countless other mall patrons and small children.
