Race To The Mansion Of Tomorrow (25/6/2018 – present) by Spicevipe is an animated slapstick YouTube series. It's considered a semi-Object Show as the show centers around a competition show featuring sentient object-like characters.

Twelve different people get invited to compete for a mansion called Boyer Mansion and are allowed to bring one other person to help them. However, the mansion hides a secret and even some of the competitors suspect something is wrong.

Tropes

  • 2D Visuals, 3D Effects: While the characters are animated in 2D, the tall tower is 3D in Chicken Tech Inc.
  • Absurdly Long Stairway: When the competitors arrive to the mansion they first have to climb up on a very long staircase on a mountain in Rabbit Garden.
  • Amusing Injuries: Samantha and BonBon get run over by the competition's bus in Nasty City with visible broken bones to boot.
  • Anthropomorphic Food: Few characters are these along with the dog named dog trope being also used; AJ (Apple Juice), OJ (Orange Juice), Molasses, and Peanut. Exceptions are Old Man Ice (an icecream cone) and Breadman (a slice of bread).
  • Author Avatar: A few of the characters are actually the original characters of some of those that worked on the show, especially Breadman, who's actually the main OC of Spicevipe, the show creator.
  • The Butler Did It: Zig-Zagged in Chicken Tech Inc. Oliver manages to blow up a whole building, Sochiebot asks who the culprit is and Peanut shows a photo of a shadow at the crime scene that looks like one of Sochiebot's butlers, Tropica, thus leaving everyone else to believe he is the culprit.
  • Butt-Monkey: Horns has a tendency to be on the receiving end of any failure in the series, even receving a five-hour penalty for something he didn't even do in Rabbit Garden.
  • Chain of Deals: OJ's team in Nasty City asks a random stranger where a monster is located. The stranger will only ask them if they give them a Bitcoin from some other stranger. This eventually spirals out of control.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Peanut tells Sochiebot Molasses is the cause why his topiary got ruined. Sochiebot shoots Molasses to the moon as punishment in Rabbit Garden and Peanut has instant regret.
  • A Dog Named "Dog": AJ (Apple Juice), OJ (Orange Juice), Molasses, and Peanut.
  • Expy: Soskoa intentionally looks similar to Parappa's hat in Chicken Tech Inc. His mug even includes an edit of Parappa's sprite (edited to look, of course, like Soskoa on it.)
  • Enfant Terrible: Oliver Would Harm a Senior and his goal is revealed to be blow up the entire Chicken Tech Inc because it has records of his previous crimes, by doing so he can finally set himself free in Chicken Tech Inc.
  • Felony Misdemeanor: One of the records on Oliver's crimes include him cutting in line in first grade.
  • Floorboard Failure: Done to an entire bus in Nasty City.
  • Hope Spot: The competition bus slows down before hitting an open manhole in Nasty City, allowing the competitors some relief. Then the road gives.
  • Ice Person: Old Man Ice can freeze anyone to defend himself in Chicken Tech Inc.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong:
BonBon: We may seem sketchy, but you can trust us, we're harmless!
    A fly flies near Samantha
    Samantha: EW! A BUG!
  • Malevolent Architecture: The stairs leading up to Boyer Mansion have lamp poles built on the stairs, making it less safe to run across the already far-too-long stairway. This is even lampshaded by Rhombus.
  • Overly Prepared Gag: Part of Old Man Ice's fight against Fishy in Chicken Tech Inc was actually seen in Jimothy finds a Cupcake 2, released over a year before that episode was actually released.
  • Shout-Out: Scratch Cat shows up as a judge in Rabbit Garden.
  • Stylistic Suck: Gerob is a simple three dimensional creature with stick limbs and a poorly modeled head with three faces. He's the only contestant that's rendered in 3D in the show, and his house is equally mangled, being a disjointed stack of cubes with some flipped normals.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Characters often get critically injured, especially AJ and OJ due to being made of glass, but they always seem to be fine right in the very next scene.
  • Would Harm a Senior: Oliver is revealed to be to do that in order to blow up an entire building in Chicken Tech Inc.
