  • Aquaman's wife Mera was also subjected to the unwanted affections of King Nereus of Xebel, who tried to claim her as his own.
  • Batman:
    • In his short lived series in the 70s, The Joker fell in love with one Dinah Lance note . He realizes he only has two choices, force her to marry him or kill her, because he won't be able to focus on his crimes if he's thinking about her.
    • Two-Face had a long-standing obsession with Renee Montoya. While it did lead to her being able to act as his Morality Pet on a few occasions, it didn't end well, partially because of Incompatible Orientation - Renee is very firmly a lesbian.
    • The few times they do interact, Catwoman has a massive crush on Superman. It's completely one-sided and mostly played for laughs however.
    • In The Attack of the Annihilator, the Big Bad decides to make Batgirl his mate because she seems physically fit.
    • Originally Poison Ivy had begun her costumed criminal career as a means of drawing Batman into her sultry clutches, bearing quite the infatuation towards him. Even today Ivy still carries a torch for him, viewing Batman more favorably than other men.
  • Disney Ducks Comic Universe: In The Sanctuary Tree, after a series of accidents, the antagonist of the story, a fat female forest ranger, ends up falling madly in love with Donald, trying to kiss him by force.
  • The Flash: In her early appearance, Iris Allen had the misfortune of being the object of Captain Cold and Professor Zoom's affection. Both had nearly forced her into marriage.
  • Marvel Comics:
    • In Marvel comics, the villain Whirlwind has a huge crush on The Wasp. He even posed as her limo driver once.
    • Umar, Doctor Strange villainess and sister to Dormammu has a huge crush on The Hulk. She actually kept him as her love-slave for a while, They've been reunited since.
    • Ultron, as a result of being based on his creator Hank Pym's personality, has a fixation on Pym's wife, The Wasp. He even once attempted to upload her mind into a robotic body named Jocasta so she could be his mate. It worked a bit too well, as Jocasta went the same way as the Vision before her - she betrayed him and joined the Avengers.
    • Prince Namor is only a villain when he feels like it, but his crush on Sue Storm dates back to the Fantastic Four's beginnings and has never truly subsided. Doctor Doom has also expressed infatuation for Sue, but Depending on the Writer, this varies from genuine love, to Darwinist Desire, to viewing her as a prize to be won, to "Ha ha Reed, I took your girl!"
    • Also the motivation for recent villain the Quiet Man; he claims that he has nurtured a vendetta against Reed for years because he had a crush on Sue at college but Reed spoke to Sue first.
    • So many supervillains have fallen for Storm that the X-Men joke about it. Particularly notable examples include Doctor Doom (although that may have been a Doombot, depending on the retcon) and Dracula.
    • Speaking of Dracula, he also shown affection to other superheroines besides Storm such as Sif, Thor's betrothed in one occasion.
    • Thanos Rising: When Thanos was a kid, he had an unrequited crush on a friend who was rather vicious for an Eternal. She influenced him into doing things that eventually lead him to become the person who he is in the present. As a young adult, she convinced him kill his previous lovers and children, and told him that she was in fact, Death. At the end of that series, he shows that he eventually got over her. Maybe.
  • Mickey Mouse Comic Universe: In The Ice Princess, after a series of misunderstandings, the antagonist of the story, Princess Zmarlina, falls madly in love with Mickey. She hugs him against his will, tries to kiss him, announces that they will get married the next day and that she will have the portal that separates the world of ice from the world of humans sealed, thus preventing Mickey from returning home. Mickey doesn't like any of that stuff.
  • Robin (1993): Darla Aquista, also known as Warlock's Daughter, had a crush on and felt entitled to Tim back when she was just a Mafia Princess. After she became a costumed super-villain she decides to act on that crush in a delusional way and Tim has to call in Superboy and Shadowpact to help free him of her since she's decided they're dating regardless of what he says and is incredibly powerful and unpredictable.
  • Played With: Shazam!'s Chain Lightning is a nice girl named Amy with an unrequited crush on Freddy/Captain Marvel Junior...but also multiple Superpowered Evil Sides. And electrical powers. Which can forcibly change the Marvels back into their mortal forms.
  • Spider-Man:
    • Rather infamously in Sins Past, Norman Osborn took a shine to Gwen Stacy. And by that it means he impregnated her, then murdered her. However, Sinister War reveals that this relationship was actually just Fake Memories implanted by Harry Osborn and Mysterio, with the "children" of this relationship just failed clones.
    • The Jackal's entire motivation was that he was in love with Gwen Stacy.
  • Supergirl:
    • Pre-Crisis Supergirl often was hit on by seemingly decent guys who later turned out to be super-villains or criminals. One example: In Supergirl Vol 1 #4 a gangleader called David Grahm romanced her. In addition, Mr. Mxyzptlk (one of her cousins' supervillains) had a thing for her once.
    • Lobo may not be a stalker about it, but the Main Man makes it perfectly clear that he wants Kara in the sack whenever they cross paths.
    • Post-Crisis Kara had to deal with Power Boy, a Darkseid's minion who had a crush on her and was Not Good with Rejection.
    • Post-Flashpoint Supergirl met H'el, a man who claimed to love her... and planned to blow the Sun up in order to save Krypton.
  • In Tomahawk, the British agent the Hood—who was secretly Lord Shilling's sister—was secretly in love with Tomahawk and often found herself torn between her romantic feelings for him, and her hatred of him for killing her brother.
  • In Tragg and the Sky Gods, Keera, the first officer of the Yargonian invaders, has the hots for Tragg, and keeps attempting to seduce him away from his true love Lorn.
  • The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye: Pharma's extremely creepy behavior towards Ratchet seems to have been confirmed with his referring to Ratchet as "my beloved".
  • X-23 has picked up a couple of these:
    • Kimura is her Arch-Nemesis, whose obsession with X veers into full-on Stalker with a Crush, to the point that her obsession over Laura reads like a jilted Psycho Ex-Girlfriend.
    • During the time she spent as a Streetwalker in NYX she was her pimp, Zebra Daddy's, favorite girl (and it's heavily suggested he sampled the goods himself). To the point that her running away with Kiden Nixon's group, after a John committed suicide during one of their sessions, drove the rest of the plot with Daddy's escalating efforts to get her back.
    • Gamesmaster — an omnipath who can read all minds, everywhere, and can't turn it off — developed an obsession with her because he finds her mind a refreshingly quiet and peaceful place to hang out. Whether or not Laura actually welcomes his presence in her head never enters into his considerations, and he frequently addresses her with endearments, calling her his "wicked, lovely girl."
    • Hellverine wants her to lead his armies, and it's heavily implied that he just plain wants her. He captures the above-mentioned Gamesmaster when he captures him poking around Laura's mind, and presents him muzzled and in chains as a gift (Gamesmaster also tried to drive away Hellverine to protect Laura, which got him caught in the first place). He makes several advances towards her, including appearing to her as a naked Cyclops.
    • Played for laughs in All-New Wolverine, when she gets doused in a pheromone designed to make Fin Fang Foom randy for whatever is marked with it. The moment he gets a whiff of her, the background is replaced by a giant Heart Symbol.
  • A number of Wonder Woman foes had crushes on Steve Trevor, especially in the Golden and Silver Ages. One of the most notable, as she was actually a recurring foe rather than a one time villain, was Gundra the Valkyrie.
  • Wonder Woman (1987):
    • Angle Man developed a crush on Donna Troy when she caught him while he was trying to steal an ancient artifact from a museum. He became so enamored with her that he instinctively transported himself to Themyscira seeking Donna's help when he was savagely attacked by a Fury possessed Barbara Minerva.
    • Kanto is still infatuated with Artemis after she escapes his tutelage and goes out of his way to make sure she doesn't get killed by his allies but doesn't make a move on her as he seems to understand he had his chance with her and he blew it by remaining allied to Darkseid.
