The Immortal Love series is a Hidden Object Game series developed by 4Friends Games (later renamed Friendly Fox) and published by Big Fish Games.

This game series follows different protagonists whose loved ones have been abducted by an Unknown Rival to fulfill their own goals, and it becomes their mission to find them and rescue them from a terrible fate at the hands of the perpetrator. Along the way, they'll acquire a MacGuffin that allows them to collect particular items that can tell a story and/or grant them abilities to use to clear away any obstacles.

  • Distressed Damsel and Distressed Dude: When there's a story where a lady or gentleman may be in peril, chances are your mission is to help them.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Most of the antagonists of the game series can't wrap their heads around the love the protagonists share.
  • Power at a Price: Anyone who trifles with dangerous magic always has a price to pay - and with consequences should their end of the bargain not be fulfilled.

  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Overlaps with Mind Rape. Valery, D'Morten's first wife, was imprisoned behind a wall for defying him, all while subsequently forced to wear a time-manipulating amulet that forces her to relive her last moments over and over.
  • Due to the Dead: Count D'Morten has a tomb lovingly dedicated to his beloved Adele.
  • Flashback: Each memento Jacques picks up brings back memories that provide clues to saving Angelica and reaching the Count's castle.
  • Happily Adopted: In the bonus chapter, Angelica finds a letter that lets Josephine know her brother was adopted by another family and living better.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Uncle Pierre sacrifices himself to save Jacques from being killed by Count D'Morten.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Uncle Pierre agreed to marry Angelica to Count D'Morten despite all warning signs that something isn't right about him in the slightest.
  • "Inescapable" Prison Easily Escaped: Unknown allies fire on the prison fortress, giving Jacques a chance to escape.
  • Necromantic: Count D'Morten's true goal is to resurrect his fiancée Adele from the dead by making a deal with Death itself.
  • Mysterious Backer: When Jacques is faced with impending execution by the count, a mysterious masked man helps break him out and provides items to help him on his journey. It turned out the masked man is actually Angelica's uncle, who wanted to help Jacques as penance for failing to realize the count's true nature.
  • Reset Button: The amulet Jacques uses helps him reset moments in time so he can change tactics with each obstacle.

    Immortal Love: The Price of a Miracle 
  • Childhood Friends: Louisa and Conrad
  • Deal with the Devil: The Baroness is willing to make a steep bargain with the Ancient One in exchange for getting him to heal her crippled son.
  • Demonic Possession: The Ancient One takes over the Baroness's body in retaliation for a perceived lie, and subsequently attempts to get rid of Louisa permanently.
  • Happily Adopted: Conrad had a happier childhood when Louisa's father, Greg, took him in as his own.
    • After the Ancient One was defeated, Greg adopts the young baron as his own son.
  • Harmless Freezing: The Baroness used the artifact to freeze her victims so they can be kidnapped more effectively.
  • Healing Spring: The baroness's son is healed in one when the Ancient One upholds his end of the bargain. Louisa uses it to save her beloved Conrad from turning to stone and dying, too.
  • Parental Neglect: The Baron didn't give his son much attention because he hated his child was crippled.
  • Parents in Distress: Greg is kidnapped by masked men at the behest of Baroness von Croyts.
  • Til Murder Do Us Part: The baroness killed her husband, having been fed up with his poor treatment of their son for so long.
  • Train Escape: Louisa had to escape the train after being captured along with other prisoners by the Baroness.

  • Alchemy Is Magic: Alchemy is involved with the rituals concerning the black lotus.
  • Cheating with the Milkman: Lis had an affair with Paul, a gardener, due to being emotionally neglected by Count de la Fleur.
  • A Deadly Affair: Lis killed Count de la Fleur to stop him from taking away Paul's youth and killing him.
  • Delivery Guy Infiltration: Used to gain entrance into the Fleur castle and stop the black lotus rituals. It doesn't stick.
  • Elixir of Life: In the beginning of the bonus chapter, this potion is what accidentally reversed Raymond to that of a baby. At the conclusion, Lis uses the elixir to do the same to Paul.
  • Fake Aristocrat: Paul pretended to be Count de la Fleur so he can find a way to restore Lis's life and beauty.
  • Flower Motifs: Flowers are a prominent theme throughout the game, primarily the lotus.
  • Foul Flower: A black lotus is used to drain the youth of the victims for Countess Lis. In the past, Count de la Fleur attempted the same thing in order to become younger and make Lis love him more.
  • I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: The Countess refuses the potion that could help her, instead using it to reverse her beloved's age so he can start over from scratch.
  • Leave No Witnesses: The modus operandi of the Count's efforts to prevent anyone from interceding against the black lotus.
  • Life Drain: What the black lotus gradually does to its victims.
  • Love Makes You Evil: Paul was willing to use the fatal power of the black lotus on every victim he can find so that he can restore Lis's youth.
  • Raise Him Right This Time: Henrietta takes in the brothers as her own, promising them a better life.
  • Rapid Aging: Lis was cursed by the Count to age quickly each year, which kickstarts Paul's use of the black lotuses.
  • Sympathetic Adulterer: Lis, unhappy with her marriage to the count (who was much older than her), pursued a relationship with the gardener Paul.

    Immortal Love: Kiss of the Night 
  • Arranged Marriage: Batty was married to a rich noble, but she left him because she didn't want to live in a gilded cage.
  • Big "NO!": Margaret lets out one when Alexander is slain at Travis's hands.
  • Driven by Envy: Alexander was motivated into becoming a vampire hunter, and then later become a vampire himself, in order to win over Valerie.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: The vampires that willingly joined Alexander started off with rough lives prior to their transformations.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Alexander was jealous of Travis marrying Valerie, which kickstarted his aim to use any means necessary to make her his.
  • Harmful Healing: Travis and Valerie ingest what they thought was a medicine that would cure their illness. Instead, it turned them into vampires.
  • Hypnotize the Captive: What's done to Valerie, so she'd cooperate on marrying Alexander.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: Each vampire tear holds the individual powers of vampires that existed.
    • Super-Strength: Germaine's strength allowed him to do the heavy hitting, as presented in Germaine's memory.
    • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Batty was able to turn into a bat and fly while flourishing under the moonlight.
    • Super-Senses: Ivanna was able to see what is hidden from normal eyes, which she used to seal herself away, preventing herself from attacking her loved ones after being turned.
    • Mind Manipulation: Alexander gained this power after becoming a vampire, which he used to bend others to his will.
    • Super Smoke: Stefan was able change into fog and fly at will, using it to carry out attacks and kidnapping at his master's request.
    • Spider-Sense: In a flashback through Valerie's vampire tear, it's revealed she sensed something dark in Alexander. Travis uses this to predict Alexander's moves.
  • Transhuman Treachery: Alexander accepts becoming a vampire after experiencing their kind firsthand, betraying the hunters who trained him in the first place.
  • Vampire Hunter: Milos and his daughter Petra are this by trade. Travis becomes one after passing a test to prove he's against vampires despite his change. Alexander himself used to be one before he betrayed them and became a vampire.
  • Waking Up at the Morgue: A crypt, in the case of Travis where he discovers he and Valerie have been placed.

  • Bounty Hunter: Angello
  • Friendly Shopkeeper: Mario, who provides a magic lens for the protagonist to use in return for help straightening his goods out.
  • Living Statue: Gloria
    • The bonus game's protagonist accidentally gets one during a crafting class.
  • Love Makes You Crazy and Love Makes You Evil: Cesare's obsessive love for Gloria is what drives him to carry out his plot to help her become a perfect living being, not giving a damn about the lives he ruins. Gloria's original creator, Ricardo, also slipped into the mindset of causing harm for the statue he fell madly in love with.
  • Mad Artist: Cesare, a sculptor who falls madly in love with a statue and attempts to bring it to life by turning other people to stone.
  • Magical Society: There is a brotherhood called the Order of Sculptors that acts against dangerous magic.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Gloria manipulated Cesare's emotions in order to get the Artifact back and help her gain real life.
  • Sentient Phlebotinum: The Artifact found in Bella's home.
  • Taken for Granite: The fate that befalls the victims, including the protagonist's fiancée Bella.

    Immortal Love: Sparkle of Talent 
  • Animal Motifs: The play contains themes of animals for the characters each performer is dressed as.

    Immortal Love: True Treasure 
  • Disappeared Dad: Shannon's father is dead during the events of the video game.
  • Runaway FiancĂ©: After learning the leprechaun gold is real and finding it will mean she doesn't have to marry the rich Count Patrick, Shannon escapes out the window just before said Count arrives to pay her a visit.
  • Sweet Polly Oliver: In order to get inside the tavern, Shannon disguises herself as a man with some clothes she borrows from the man's clothes shop.
