It's kind of like that, yes. note

Sangome is a tropette with a passion for video games and writing. She also considers herself fairly religious, but is definitely not a "Fundie". She's also a subverter of many tropes.

She can't exactly remember how she found this place, though she thinks her first experience with the site was on the WALL-E page...and it all went downhill from there. Well, not all the time, anyway.

One of her most well-known traits is her rampant fangirling, though she does try to keep it in check. She typically goes for the fictional variety, but has been known to find real men attractive from time to time.

Is a fan of Ace Attorney, Final Fantasy, Let's Plays, Megaman Legends, My Little Pony: FIM, Pokemon, the Tales Series, That Guy With The Glasses, The Speed Gamers, Super Mario, and loads more.

Is not, under any circumstances, to be confused with any sort of InuYasha pairing whatsoever.

This troper contains examples of:

  • Break the Cutie: More times than she'd care to recall.
  • Berserk Button: Messing with friends and personal beliefs are big ones.
  • Cannot Spit It Out: On two different occasions.
  • Crazy Awesome: She likes to think she is, at least.
  • Deadpan Snarker
  • Does Not Like Men: Subverted. While her Shrinking Violet tendencies tend to give off this vibe towards the opposite gender, and she has had numerous bad experiences with men before, she does not hate them at all. It's something she's actively attempting to overcome.
  • Facepalm: She employs this frequently, both online and off.
  • Fangirl: Like saying the sky is blue.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With fellow troper, Timber!.
  • Hikikomori: Subverted; she enjoys getting out of the house and living a life, but she's more often than not stuck indoors, due to lacking the basic traveling utilities [car, license, etc].
    • Played straight, however, in the colder months, for reasons that should be fairly obvious.
  • Kuudere: When in an unfamiliar/disliked environment. However, see Tsundere below...
  • Mama Bear: If you do anything to hurt her loved ones, RUN FAR AWAY.
  • Megane: Most of the people/characters she crushes on.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: You'd be surprised.
  • Offscreen Crash: Self-inflicted when she knows she's being silly/stupid/corny/etc.
  • The Quiet One: When the kuu in kuudere shows. She tends to lurk and generally keep to herself.
  • Red Oni to Timber's Blue Oni.
  • Tomboy: Subverted; her main hobby for years has been video gaming (although that is becoming a more readily-accepted hobby for girls as well as boys), but she enjoys looking like an actual girl from time to time.
  • Tsundere: Oh sweet merciful Neptune, yes. Nicer than most examples, but not quite a Type B (deredere by default).
  • Self-Deprecation: Just look at the page! Is slowly trying to cut back on it, though.
  • Shrinking Violet: See Does Not Like Men above.
