Brutal Legend has been panned just hard enough, and in the right ways, that it's beginning to effect his entire legacy; not helped by sales numbers that were disappointing, given how heavily the game was promoted. When Yahtzee himself, a man who asked his audience to cripple themselves as punishment for not buying a Tim Schafer game, turns around and starts asking if the man lives up to the hype then you know he's on shaky, shaky ground.
