I'm currently writing my first novel, The Pallbearers, which follows the changes a fictional city goes through when its crime kingpin succumbs do old age and dies, focusing on a depressed mid-level criminal from a rival organization, a homicide cop, the kingpin's grandson and heir, a transit authority officer, a prisoner and this guy who is ... just this guy.
