Trademark Favorite Food in this series.

Comic Books

  • Captain America:
    • Bucky Barnes loves pancakes.
    • Agent 13, meanwhile, loves burgers.
  • Deadpool has a strong affinity for Mexican foods such as tacos, burritos, and chimichangas. He enjoys saying "chimichanga" and stores leftover Mexican food in his pouches. The Deadpool (2013) video game repeats a comic book gag where he "loves the smell of 372,844 pancakes in the morning!"
  • Fantastic Four:
    • Galactus' ex-Herald Firelord absolutely loves pizza.
    • For that matter, Galactus really, really likes planets. And Twinkles too. But any true believer knows Galactus doesn't drink milk!
  • Ghost Rider: Red and yellow jelly beans.
  • The Incredible Hulk: In the Bronze Age, the Hulk went through a phase (mostly when he was hanging out with The Defenders) where he was obsessed with beans. Presumably, this was in memory of Crackajack Jackson, a homeless man who had befriended the Hulk and been very kind to him before getting killed by his own son (long story). As a homeless man, all he had had to offer the Hulk to eat were cans of beans, which the Hulk became very fond of.
  • The Mighty Thor:
    • Loki since his resurrection (so since approx. 2010) was shown to develop a preference for Midgardian (Earth) food on the grounds that it's vastly more varied than Asgardian. Especially for bacon, he outright stated bacon is magic.
    • Leah of Hel, Hela's literal handmaiden, likes milkshakes.
  • Spider-Man:
    • Peter's love of Aunt May's wheatcakes dates back to his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15. He's also fond of normal flapjacks, as well as pizza. And of course, New York hot dogs.
    • Spider-Gwen: Corndogs appear to be popular on Earth-65, overtaking pizza as the NYC staple. In Spider-Gwen #1, Gwen thinks that after she catches Vulture, she'll "Get trust, pride and life back... Eat all the corndogs." The Bodega Bandit, in Radioactive Spider-Gwen #1, is seen stealing corndogs.
    • One Spider-Man Tangled Webs story that featured Tombstone as a Villain Protagonist shows his diet isn't very healthy (he is apprehended after suffering a heart attack) but the story also suggests that he's fond of corn bread.
    • Venom loves to feed on human brains. In the hopes of reducing his body count during the times in which he is not so villainous (and when the comics needed to appease those concerned that he was too violent for children), he has substituted brains for chocolate, thanks to the sweet treat being a rich source of phenylethylamine, a chemical also present in neurons.
  • X-23: Very subtly done with Laura Kinney, who doesn't have one particular favorite food, but favors anything that's spicy. When questioned on this preference by Gambit, she reveals it overlaps significantly with Comfort Food: She was allowed only very bland fare by the Facility, so eating spicy foods is a way to distance herself from her Dark and Troubled Past.

Films

  • The Amazing Spider-Man:
    • Gwen Stacy herself is so fond of chocolate that she once wished she could live in a chocolate house, which tips her dad off when she claims to not want to come to dessert.
    • Aunt May's spaghetti and meatballs. But according to Uncle Ben, not her meatloaf.
  • Marvel Cinematic Universe:
    • Tony Stark seems to have a thing for cheeseburgers. When freed from captivity by terrorists in Iron Man, he demands Happy Hogan bring him to a press conference to announce he would no longer make weapons... and to get him a cheeseburger ("Cheeseburger first."). After Tony's funeral in Avengers: Endgame, Happy is seen comforting his young daughter... who asks if they can get cheeseburgers together.
    • Yelena Belova apparently really loves macaroni and cheese. The opening flashback of Black Widow (2021) sees her asking her adoptive mother to make it for dinner. Many years later the now-adult Yelena makes the meal for herself in Hawkeye (2021) after breaking into Kate Bishop's apartment and getting bored waiting for her to come home.
    • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: America Chavez apparently loves pizza, especially pizza balls.
  • In Venom (2018), the symbiote's eventual food order evolves from "people" to "tater tots, chocolate, and people".

Live-Action TV

  • Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: In "The Hub", when Fitz prepares for his first field assignment, Simmons makes him his favorite sandwich; prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella with a hint of pesto aioli. He doesn't get to eat it (Ward threw it to some wolves) but at the end of the episode he assures her it was delicious.
  • Daredevil (2015): Wilson Fisk has two signature foods.
    • His favorite dessert is zuppa inglese, an Italian desert similar to trifle. His mother used to make it when he was a child, and he occasionally jokes that his fondness for it is the source of his weight.
    • For breakfast, his Morning Routine involves making an omelet. In his intro scene in Season 3, we see Fisk continues this even in prison, although the results are clearly not as spectacular as they were in his first penthouse. Fortunately, once his penthouse in the Presidential Hotel is outfitted with all his old possessions, Fisk is able to make his quality omelets once more, in time for Vanessa's return and then their wedding.

Western Animation

  • Avengers Assemble:
    • Clint Barton/Hawkeye sure likes his pickles.
    • Hulk has a thing for peanut butter.
