Season 2

  • Danny. Throughout the season he was forced to deal with a lot of abuse from Jangue and Kelly, on top of seeing some of his closest friends be eliminated early on in the competition, leaving him all alone. Fortunately for him, he managed to win the season despite all odds.

Season 7

  • Georgie. Despite her Base-Breaking Character status, her final episode turns the woobiedom up to full max, as she's forced into a punishment by her crush in Rohan, on her birthday of all days. To add salt into the wound, Rohan would reject her in such a harsh way that it inevitably caused her to crash on her section, resulting in her elimination.
  • Richard delves into this in his final few appearances. After he confides in Rohan about his reasons for being here, that being he lost his wife and wanted to make her proud. Considering that Rohan was revealed to be using him as a pawn to target Paula, and his actions resulted in Richard's elimination, it's hard to not feel bad for him.
  • Speaking of which, Paula could count as this in her final few episodes. While it's unknown if she was telling the truth about being there for Ramsay, it was clear that no matter if that was the case, Rohan's manipulations had essentially poisoned Paula's chances, to the extent that Ramsay eliminated her for her lack of passion despite Paula claiming she had a lot.
  • Donna constantly had to deal with several misfortunes on the red team, from poor performances causing her team to lose challenges over and over, to trying to break out only to have a small misstep that would harm her in the long run. It was even to the extent she got nominated for relatively poor reasons, such as Gina forgetting that Paula existed.
  • Ben falls under the Jerkass Woobie version of this, as he was rude for the most part and of course, didn't make many friends. However, it's hard to not feel at least a bit of sympathy for him when he's being targeted by Rohan for rather poor reasons.
  • DJ is this both inside and outside of the kitchen. Outside, he had to deal with parents who abandoned him when they didn't approve of his dream, even to the extent that they didn't even bother visiting him. Inside the kitchen, he had to deal with losing his friend in Rohan, and having to constantly make sure not to fall victim to Heather's own manipulations. Thankfully, him winning in the end made it all worth it.

Season 8

  • Celine is very much a Jerkass Woobie, as although she was extremely unpleasant, once it was revealed she was transgender, she received several jabs at her gender from the likes of Carl and Scott, leading to her becoming pretty sympathetic.
  • Adding onto the Jerkass Woobie category is Frankie. He's got a massive sarcastic streak, but with his absolutely brutal backstory and him constantly getting nominated for unlucky breaks, it's easy to feel at least a little sorry for him. Fortunately for him, he managed to win in the end.

Hell's Kitchen Amateurs: Season 1

  • Heather easily. She was without a doubt the strongest chef on the red team and of the season, but you wouldn't expect that from how many punishments and service losses she goes through due to the mistakes from her team piling up. Fortunately for her, she manages to pull off a win in the end.
