  • Brother and Sister Bear appear in a commercial for the 1994 McDonald's Happy Birthday Happy Meal, where they are shown interacting with a live-action Ronald McDonald and various other cartoon characters. Sister sits on one end of a seesaw holding streamers as Brother launches her into the air by jumping on the other end.note

  • Lily and Dunkin: When Dare and Lily were in preschool, they used to pretend their teacher was Mama Bear, Dare was Brother Bear, Lily was Sister Bear, and Papa Bear was off to work.

  • American Dad!: In "The Vacation Goo", Steve is in a goo fantasy and states that, while he likes the Berenstain Bears, he wouldn't want one marrying his daughter.
  • Family Guy: In "Pawtucket Pat", Brian and Stewie uncover a bombshell revelation about Pawtucket Pat, leading Brian to compare themselves to Woodward and Berenstain. In the ensuing cutaway, Papa Bear, acting as Deep Throat, tells Robert Woodward to "follow the honey".
  • Inside Job (2021): The show runs on the premise of conspiracy theories being real, and the episode "Project Reboot" references various well-known instances of the Mandela Effect, including the belief that the books used to spell the name as "Berenstein". For some reason, in addition to the different spelling of the name, the books also depict the bear family as nudists, complete with uncensored genitalia.
  • Robot Chicken: A sketch from "May Cause Season 11 to End" involves the Nerd meeting the Ghost of Nelson Mandela, who tells him about the Mandela Effect. The Nerd asks the Ghost if The Berenstain Bears is really spelled The Berenstein Bears, only for the Ghost to tell him it's the other way around.
  • The Simpsons:
    • In "The Fat and the Furriest", Homer develops a phobia of bears after encountering one in the junkyard, and he freaks out at a book with the Berenstain Bears on the cover.
    • In "Eeny Teeny Maya Moe", Moe mentions the Berenstain Bears as an example of people who live in trees, along with Tarzan and flood victims.
    • In "MoneyBART", Marge reads The Berrystained Bears Stick Together to Bart while he and Lisa have a falling-out.
    • In "White Christmas Blues", Bart burns a copy of Treasure Island that Lisa thoughtlessly gave him, mentioning he got the idea from the book The Berry-Stained Bears Make S'mores.
