- Ralph Breaks the Internet: Rapunzel is among the princesses that Vanellope meets in Oh My Disney. Also, among the things being auctioned on eBay are Rapunzel's frying pan and Vladimir's ceramic unicorn.
- Frozen (2013): Rapunzel and Flynn make a cameo during "For the First Time in Forever".
- Zootopia: One of the pirated films that Duke Weaselton is selling is Wrangled, featuring Rapunzel as a Maximus-esque horse.
- At the end of The Florida Project, during the fantasy montage where Moonee and Jancey escape to Disney World, in the background, briefly, a billboard can be seen with Tiana and Rapunzel on it.
- In Both Can Be True, Daniel's mom obsessively watches Disney movies after separating from her husband. Mitch mentions that she saw Tangled and both Frozen movies the last three Fridays.
- Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite was based around a composite of Disney Princess characters, particularly Belle and Rapunzel. Some of her scripted animations had to be cut as it was too similar to Tangled.
- SuperThings: The episode "Zombies Night" features an advertisement for an unnamed Tangled parody, with a purple comb citizen in the place of Rapunzel.
