Anime & Manga

  • Undead Unluck: Most of the artifacts' names are references to films or games, the volume 6 extras dub the time-control artifact Life Is Strange.

Fan Works

  • Fooly Falls: Arcadia Bay gets mentioned in chapter 4.
  • Gravity Soul: Bill's Motor Mouth farewells contain such lines as "ALWAYS TAKE THE SHOT!"
  • Infinity Train: Seeker of Crocus: Marchosias is seen looking at a mural that depicts a black raven in flight that is surrounded by quotes and is signed "C.P", referencing the scene in Beform the Storm where Chloe Price decides to graffiti the girl's bathroom with the very same mural (although she doesn't sign it).
  • Maria Campbell of the Astral Clocktower: In the second Katarina Interlude, the Katarina council discuss the possibility of reincarnating in Life Is Strange, referring to it as a weird American Otome game.
  • The Secret Life of Punzie: When Anna calls her and Elsa "hella gay", Elsa asks where she learned that phrase. Anna remarks that she heard it from her friend Chloe.

Video Games

  • Birdland: Liz is a Pricefield shipper. (This was sadly removed later, with "Pricefield trash" changed to "Absolute trash.")
  • Death and Taxes: On day 9 when you are taking over for the plant division, one of the possible plants you have to manage is a plant named Lisa, a companion to a photography student.
  • Rebuild: Tiff, the leader of the Pharmacists, shares a remarkable similarity to Chloe Price from Life Is Strange, given her punk aesthetic, complete with the black beanie and blue hair. This is not even taking into account her anarchic world view and drug usage.
  • Scrambled: Syd City: Syd lists saving Arcadia Bay among the things that C-List superheroes sometimes get to do if they are lucky.
  • Tell Me Why: There is a poster advertising for a film company featuring a camera and a butterfly. The strapline reads "Life is weird".
  • Vampyr (2018): The achievement for watering a plant (with water which can only be found by carefully searching the West End) is an extended one to Life Is Strange's infamous Guide Dang It!; the achievement itself is called "Unlife Is Strange"; the plant takes 3 in-game days to revive (a plant in Max's room in LiS Season 1 will die or be thriving in Episode 3, also three days later in-game); and when it revives, Jonathan decides to name it Lisa, (the same name Max gave her plant).

Web Original
