A Hero in the House?! is the second episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure, and the 920th episode overall of the Pretty Cure franchise.
Mashiro takes Sora out into the city to show her around Sorashido, until Kabaton attacks.
Tropes:
- Big Eater: Kabaton eats at least a dozen burgers in two bites.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: At the end, Cure Sky tells the audience that one Cure from a previous season will appear in the ending from the next episode on.
- Call-Back: One of the outfits Sora tries on is the winter uniform for Shinsen Middle School.
- Costume-Test Montage: When visiting the Sorashido Mall, Sora tries on several different outfits until she picks out one she likes: that being a blue and white shirt with a blue skirt.
- Declaration of Protection: Sora does this as thanks for all the help Mashiro has given her. Mashiro is flabbergasted by it.
- Monster of the Week: Lanborgs return this episode. This time, one transforms from a vending machine and utilizes soda-based attacks.
- One-Steve Limit: Zigzagged; while we get another Tsubasa, Yoyo is one letter off from Yoko.
- Orgasmically Delicious: Sora blushes happily and gushes over a piece of grilled salmon for breakfast.
- Stock "Yuck!": Umeboshi, the Japanese pickled plum. Sora tries one but puckers up as a reaction to the taste.
