The latest craze at school are special cards that apparently make you excel in whatever you desire. When Sakura takes a look at one of the cards, she notices that they look like the Clow Cards. Sakura and Tomoyo stop at the store that sells them and Sakura tries to buy a card for cooking, but they won't have it until the next day. The next day at the store, Sakura senses a Clow Card, but the feeling goes away suddenly. It turns out that Meiling just bought the Shot Card, a real Clow Card. Kero says that the card is extremely dangerous and she must seal it immediately. Sakura tells Syaoran of the danger and they head out to find Meiling. Meanwhile, Meiling accidentally activates the card, and Syaoran is injured. Sakura comes up with a plan, and successfully captures the Shot.

- Cassandra Truth: When Sakura and Syaoran try to warn Meiling about the Shot, Meiling refuses to believe them or hand it over, convinced it's a "Cupid's Arrow" type card. She finds out the truth in the worst possible way when she accidentally activates it and it sets its sights on Syaoran.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Everyone talks about a student having the Shot Card as if it were a kid who got their hands on their dad's gun. When Meiling accidentally uses it on Syaoran, it proves the panic to be well founded when it almost kills him.
- The Dreaded: Both Kero and Syaoran nearly crap their pants upon discovering that they're dealing with the Shot Card.
- Oh, Crap!: Kero's reaction upon finding out from Sakura that Meiling bought the Shot from Twin Bells, and everyone's reaction when Meiling activates it.
