Pre Asskicking One Liner / Animated Films

  • Aladdin: "A snake, am I? Perhaps you'd like to see how ssssnake-like I can beeeeeee!" - Jafar before he, well, turns into a snake.
  • Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker:
    • While fighting on a high-speed hovercraft flying high in the city, Bonk has Terry by the throat. Terry, while struggling, sees behind himself (where the hovercraft is flying) and he tries to warn his opponent of a "flgpkl".
      Bonk: What did you say?
      Batman: Flag... pole! -KLONK!-
    • And later in the movie...
Joker: C'mon, McGinnis! Laugh it up now, you miserable little punk! LAUGH!
      [Terry gasps]
      Joker: I can't hear you!
Terry: Ha. Ha. [uses Joker's own joy buzzer to zap the microchip containing Joker's mind, effectively killing him]
  • Go Go Tomago in Big Hero 6, before destroying a tower of microbots: "WOMAN UP!"
  • Anna in Frozen (2013), before punching Hans in the face: "The only heart that's frozen around here is yours."
  • Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective, in his Villainous Breakdown and prior to his No-Holds-Barred Beatdown on Basil: "There's no escape this time, Basil!"
  • Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney), before he attempts to murder Quasimodo: "I'm going to do what I should have done TWENTY YEARS AGO!" His second one-liner, "And he shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit!" would count if not for Frollo being subjected to a deliciously karmic Disney Villain Death before he can do anything else.
  • Kim to Dr. Drakken in Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama: "You're right, Drakken. Boys? Dating? Oh, it's hard. But this? Is easy. Boom."
  • Kung Fu Panda:
    • In the opening of the first movie, we have: "The warrior said nothing, for his mouth was full. Then he swallowed. And then he spoke." "Enough talk! Let's fight!"
    • "Skadoosh."
  • The LEGO Movie:
    • Vitruvius gets offended by Lord Business calling him old. He expertly turns this insult into a pre-asskicking one-liner before laying waste to Business' robots.
Vitruvius: Did you just call me old?
      Lord Business: Yeah. So what?
Vitruvius: Well, Junebug, I prefer the term... experienced. [cue dismantling of all surrounding robots]
    • It's the victory that doesn't last long due to Lord Business: he decapitates Vitruvius when he isn't looking, who's picked the not-so-ideal moment of relaying some wisdom to Emmet. Still, the awesomeness doesn't wear off because this is Morgan Freeman who's voicing Vitruvius here, plus, it was amazing to see the way he dispatched the robots so skillfully after delivering the perfect line in such a composed manner. And he's blind.
  • Stitch in Lilo & Stitch, before he saves Lilo and simultaneously defeats Gantu: "Stupid head."
  • The Lion King (1994):
    • "They call me MISTER Pig!"
    • "Run away, Scar. And never return."
    • "Yes. Of course. As you wish... YOUR MAJESTY!"
    • Simba attempts to use one against Nala when they're cubs. During their argument over who deserves credit for their plan to ditch Zazu, Nala counters every argument Simba makes, until he smirks at her deviously and remarks "Oh yeah?" in a sly tone right before letting out a small roar and pouncing on her as a surprise attack, intending to pin her down and make her admit he deserves the credit. It is subverted though when to his surprise Nala easily flips him over and he ends up pinned by her instead.
  • Delroy in Migration: “Eat this.”
  • Mulan:
    • Shan-Yu: "It looks like you're all out of ideas." Mulan: "Not quite!"
    • Mushu, before he takes off with the rocket: "I am ready, baby! Light me!"
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas: Not an Action Hero example, but it does come before ass-kicking... "Hello, Oogie."
  • The Princess and the Frog:
    • Ray the firefly utters a fairly odd one when he faces Facilier's shadow demons: "Don't make me light my butt!"
    • "A bug's gotta do what a bug's gotta do!"
    • "It's not slime, it's mucus!" Said by Tiana before she foils Facilier.
  • Jamie in Rise of the Guardians, right before the final battle with the Big Bad Pitch: "I do believe in you. I'm just not afraid of you."
  • Sleeping Beauty: "Now shall you deal with me, O prince — and all the powers of HELL!" (Cue Evil Laugh and Maleficent turning into a dragon.)
  • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse:
  • Superman in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, before he proceeds to incinerate a whole army of Doomsday clones with a massive, sweeping blast of his heat vision: "This ends now."
  • Tangled: "You want me to be the bad guy? Fine. Now I'm the bad guy." Said by Mother Gothel (the villain) before she defeats Rapunzel offscreen.
  • In Turning Red, Mei is told by Grandma Wu to keep Ming busy. Mei who has a lot of unresolved issues with Ming at this point is only happy to oblige her.
Mei: Oh, I'll keep her busy.
  • Captain Amelia in Treasure Planet, while shooting at pirates: "Chew on this, ya pus-filled boils!"
  • Turbo in Wreck-It Ralph, in his One-Winged Angel form: "Welcome to the boss level!"
