Three generations of Prouds... but you could be forgiven for thinking it was four.
  • 6teen: Jonesy Garcia and Jennifer "Jen" Masterson, two of the main characters, become stepsiblings when Jonesy's dad and Jen's mom get married—they eventually gain a mutual half-sister born of that marriage named Emma (after Jen's mom). Jonesy and Jen are both 16 when Emma Junior's born while Jen's older sister, Courtney (Emma Junior's other maternal half-sister), is around 19 (Courtney's about three years older than Jen and Jonesy).
  • Adventure Time: At the start of the series, Finn is 12 and Jake is 28, though this is justified by Jake being 28 in "magical dog years". Their brother Jermaine is around Jake's age, being born shortly after he was.
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender:
    • Iroh and Ozai have an undefined but quite large age gap. Iroh had an adult son of his own when Ozai's children were still single-digit aged, and Iroh is once mistaken for the grandfather of Ozai's son rather than his uncle.
    • Mai is thirteen years older than her toddler brother, Tom-Tom.
    • The Legend of Korra: There's a ten-year age difference between Jinora and her infant brother Rohan (who is born in the first book).
  • The Batman: Criminal duo Wrath and Scorn, the Evil Counterparts to Batman and Robin, are brothers. William Mallory (Wrath) is an adult who's roughly the same age as Bruce Wayne and Andy Mallory (Scorn) is a tween/early teen around Dick Grayson's age.
  • Bobby's World: Bobby Generic is eleven years younger than his older sister Kelly. During the run of the series, his mother gives birth to his twin brothers Alex and Jake, who are fifteen years younger than Kelly and ten years younger than Bobby's other brother Derek.
  • A large age gap between half-siblings allows for a Family Relationship Switcheroo on BoJack Horseman. BoJack (in his fifties) initially thinks Hollyhock (eighteen) is his illegitimate daughter, but it turns out that the two are actually half-siblings — Hollyhock was conceived from an affair that BoJack's father had with his maid late in life.
    • "The Old Sugarman Place" reveals that BoJack's mother Beatrice had a twenty-one year old brother named Crackerjack when she was six.
  • Jay Sherman of The Critic is thirty-six, and his adoptive parents also have a biological daughter who's sixteen. Margo is actually closer in age to her nephew Marty than to Jay himself.
  • Daria: 16-year-old Jane Lane is the youngest of five siblings. Trent is already five years older than her, while their rarely-seen older siblings are all in their late twenties or mid-thirties.
  • Dan Vs.: Elise is in her late twenties to early thirties. Her brother, Ben, appears to be in his mid to late teens.
  • Doug: In the first season of the Disney run, Doug's sister Cleopatra "Dirtbike" Funnie is born. She's twelve years younger than Doug and seventeen years younger than Judy.
  • Ed, Edd n Eddy: As with most of the main cast, Eddy is 12 years old. Eddy's older brother's precise age isn't disclosed, but he is most likely in his early to mid-twenties, given how he's moved out and has a job of his own for years prior to the series' setting. This gives them a minimal age gap of ~10 years, which makes the reveal that Eddy has a Big Brother Bully all the more horrifying.
  • F is for Family: The newest member of the Murphy family, Megan, is substantially younger than all of her siblings. She's fifteen years younger than Kevin and twelve years younger than Bill. Even her closest in age sibling Maureen is almost a decade older than her.
  • Family Guy:
    • At the very start of the series, Meg is 16, Chris is 13, and Stewie is an infant (he celebrates his first birthday in "Chitty Chitty Death Bang"). The Season 2 episode "Love Thy Trophy" sees people mistakenly assume Stewie to be Meg's son, which she decides to go along with to get pity tips as a waitress. This age gap inexplicably gets wider later in the series, as Meg and Chris age up to 18 and 15 respectively, while Stewie remains a one-year-old.
    • Even more extreme are Kevin and Susie Swanson, the children of Joe and Bonnie Swanson. Kevin is 25 while his younger sister Susie is only a year old.
    • Due to both being Older Than They Look and having as much sex as he can with anyone or anything he feels without even trying to use birth control, Quagmire has multiple illegitimate children with a wide range of ages. Two episodes in particular feature his Doorstep Baby daughter Anna Lee as well as an eighteen-year-old daughter named Courtney, while a Cutaway Gag reveals he has an adult married son in Madrid, Spain and another cutaway gag reveals he has twenty-year-old identical twin daughters working as strippers in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
  • Implied in Gravity Falls: In "A Tale of Two Stans," when Stan and Ford are about 17-18, we see their mom holding a baby. This was probably meant to be their other brother Shermie, Dipper and Mabel's grandfather. Him being so much younger would explain why he plays no larger part in his brothers' backstory, but leads to serious questions about the timeline, since this scene is set about forty years before he'll have preteen grandkids. A common Fanon explanation is that Shermie is actually older than his brothers, and that the baby is his own child (and thus, presumably, Dipper and Mabel's father), in which case this trope is still in play, just switched in the other direction.
  • The Great North: Beef Tobin's oldest child, Wolf, is in his early twenties and married. Beef's youngest child, Moon, is only ten years old. Between Wolf and Moon is seventeen-year-old Ham and sixteen-year-old Judy.
  • Hey Arnold!: Helga Pataki, who's a 9-year-old 4th-grader in the original series, has an older sister named Olga who's off at college — while it's never confirmed how far apart in age they are, Olga's stated to have been 15 when Helga had her first day of preschool. Since most kids (at least those in the United States) start preschool when they're around 3, this would mean that Olga's at least 12 years older than Helga. Olga's a bright and popular college student who excels at pretty much everything she does (and is the one generally favored by their parents), so the age gap only strengthens the one-sided rivalry Helga feels.
  • According to the original 1960s series, Judy Jetson is 16 and her younger brother Elroy is 6 1/2. The 1980s series says that Elroy is 9, however, shrinking the gap to 7 years.
  • Late in Kim Possible, Ron's parents adopt a Japanese toddler, Hana, while Ron is in his senior year of high school.
  • King of the Hill: Cotton winds up having a baby, G.H., with his much younger wife, giving forty-something Hank a newborn baby half-brother. Later, it's also revealed that Cotton had an Abandoned War Child named Junichiro, meaning that there's a fifty-year gap between him and G.H.
  • The eponymous family of The Loud House have eleven kids; Lori, the eldest, is 16 years older than Lily, the youngest. Although, the kids are pretty evenly spread apart, so most of them have at least one similarly-aged sibling (for example, the five oldest kids are only a year apart in age each).
  • Moral Orel: Has a much more insidious example. The neighborhood bully, Joe Secondopinionson, who is 12, lives with his half-sister who is an adult woman presumably in her late twenties or mid-thirties, and his elderly father, who seemingly has Alzheimer's disease. It's heavily implied that the reason for this is because his father sexually assaulted his mother, a then-teenage Nurse Bendy.
  • Muppet Babies:
    • On one episode of the 1984 series, the babies get to meet Kermit's nephew Robin, who is a tadpole in a fishbowl. The episode clarifies that Robin's mother is Kermit's much older sister, although how much older is not stated.
    • Kermit is also shown to be an uncle in the 2018 reboot. This time, however, Robin is closer to Kermit's age; and it's not stated which of Kermit's much older siblings is Robin's parent.
  • The Owl House: According to Word of God, Matt Tholomule, a student at Hexside who is about 13, is the younger half-brother of Steve, an Emperor's Coven scout who looks to be in his late twenties/early thirties.
  • Jeremy Johnson of Phineas and Ferb is confirmed to be 16 years old. His little sister, Suzy Johnson, appears to be preschool-aged. This means that Jeremy must’ve been a preteen when Suzy was born.
  • The Proud Family:
    • Penny Proud is fourteen while her younger twin siblings BeBe and CeCe are a year old. In The Proud Family Movie, Penny is now sixteen, but the twins are still the same age. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder reverts Penny back to being fourteen, while the twins are now toddler-aged.
    • Also in Louder and Prouder, Suga Mama's youngest brother Chuck is said to have been born after Suga Mama left home, and he looks decades younger than her.
  • Rugrats:
    • In the original 1991 series, Alyssa Carmichael is twelve years older than her younger sister Susie.
    • In the spinoff series All Grown Up!, Kimi's biological father and his second wife have a baby daughter who's around ten years younger than Kimi.
  • Ryan Defrates Secret Agent: The 6 episode, The Towering Turkey, revealed that Ryan has an older sister who is married with children who look to be 10 or 11 years old. While the older sister and Ryan’s exact age has not been revealed, since the sisters are adults and Ryan looks to be in his teen years, it’s an educated guess that the sister must’ve been a teenager when Ryan was born.
  • The Simpsons: "The Regina Monologues" all but outright states that Grandpa Simpson has an Abandoned War Child named Abbie from his WWII days – "She's 58, this month." Homer is 38 years old, making him 20 years younger than his long-lost half-sister.
  • Star vs. the Forces of Evil:
    • In the third season, teenager Marco visits Earth after living months in Mewni to discover his mother is pregnant again. He finally moves back in with his parents to meet his newborn sister Mariposa, 15 years his junior, and his friends keep assuming she's his daughter.
    • The Magic Book of Spells states that Eclipsa's uncle (her mom's brother), Jushtin, was initially heir to the throne of Mewni, despite the tradition of matrilineal descent, because he had no female siblings. By the time Eclipsa's mother, Solaria, was born and took his place as heir, Jushtin was well into his teens.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Though their exact ages are unknown, Satine and Bo-Katan Kryze are heavily implied to be this. Satine is around the same age as Obi-Wan Kenobi, which would make her 35–38 years old during the series. Bo-Katan appears to be around 18-20 years old, and is portrayed in The Mandalorian (which takes place ~30 years later) by the 40-year-old Katee Sackhoff. Further corroborated by Word of God confirming that Satine's nephew Korkie is not Bo-Katan's son. It's possible that Bo-Katan and Satine are half-sisters as well.
  • Steven Universe: Gems don't have relatives in an exact human sense, but Amethyst thinks of the other ones made on Earth (her "Famethyst") like siblings. Because of an error in their Bizarre Alien Reproduction, she is five hundred years younger than the rest of them, but gems don't age, so this may as well be nothing.
  • In Winx Club, it's never stated how far apart in age Bloom and her older sister, Daphne, are—but Daphne appears to have been in her mid to late-teens when Bloom was born (Fanon generally agrees that Daphne was around 16 when Bloom was born). This is shown both by the fact that she was the one who sent Bloom away and by her Nymph spirit form, which is that of an adult and presumably did not age after her death.
  • Young Justice (2010) provides one of the supernatural examples with the immortal Vandal Savage. His Villain Episode focuses on him interacting with two of his daughters, one of whom is 18 and the other who could pass for Savage's mother. The episode also delves into his backstory, revealing that he's had plenty of other kids over the millennia, (including Nabu, apparently.)
