Season 1 Examples:

• Zombie Land Saga E02
  • Tae's head comes popping off at a live performance, in front of dozens of people, prompting this reaction from the girls.
• Zombie Land Saga E03
  • Twice during the guerilla performance; Lily trips during part of the dance, and Sakura completely blanks on her lyrics midway through the song, causing her and the others to all stagger in their performance. Thankfully Ai and Junko jump in to save it.
• Zombie Land Saga E04
  • Saki is running through the hallway of an inn with Sakura's disembodied head in her arm, trying to reach the girls' bedroom before anyone sees them. She then slips on a wet medicinal patch sitting in the hall and careens into a very unfortunate pharmaceutical president, scaring the latter half to death.
• Zombie Land Saga E05
  • The girls are caked in mud from competing in the Gatalympics. They go to rinse themselves off only to realize their human makeup has been cleaned off too, revealing their zombified appearances.
  • Tae's body breaks apart mid-air during the rope swing challenge. The others have to make a mad-dash towards and reattach her parts before the audience notices.
• Zombie Land Saga E07:
  • In an attempt to rally a depressed Junko out of the mansion attic, Kotaro kicks the door down... only to catch an unfortunate Junko in the crossfire.
    Kotaro: Fearful squeal
  • Later as Franchouchou is about to leave for Saga Rock, Junko jumps in front of the van to stop them, wanting to come too. Kotaro runs her over as a result.
• Zombie Land Saga E09:
  • Saki jumps out of the van and tumbles down a nearby hill, much to Sakura and the others' shock.
  Lily: "Uh... sir?"
  Kotaro: "Whatever it is I don't care!"
  Lily: "Saki jumped out of the van."
  Kotaro: WHAAAT!! WHY!?
• Zombie Land Saga E10:
  • Sakura has accidentally been caught in a hunting trap, just as a giant wild boar comes in to snack on her head.

Season 2 Examples:

• Zombie Land Saga Revenge E06:
  • The girls when Tae's head pops off in front of Maria. Saki has to distract the latter while the girls help fix Tae. This is all while Okoba was watching out of the corner of his eye.
• Zombie Land Saga Revenge E07:
  • Kotaro's reaction when he thinks he's killed Maimai.
• Zombie Land Saga Revenge E10:
  • Jofuku reels over in pain as a storm strikes Saga, completely incapacitating him.
    "Oh hell... here it comes!..."
• Zombie Land Saga Revenge E11: Given the nature of the episode.
  • Kotaro when he and Jofuku are trapped in the bar by flood water.
  • The girls when the mansion collapses with all their belongings and make-up inside.
  • Lily when she has to rush in to stop Tae's disembodied head from wandering around.
  • The girls when Sakura's make-up begins to chip off.
  • Franchouchou when they're revealed as zombies to the children at the shelter.
