- One piece of post-mission flavor text is an interview with a war veteran who, while investigating an ADVENT facility with his squad, came across a large vat filled with some strange reeking goo. Nothing out of the ordinary by ADVENT standards so far, but then the goo started sprouting eyes. Lots and lots of eyes. Turned out they had thirty or so shapeless Faceless staring back at them. The squad apparently made it out in one piece, but it's hard to imagine them getting a good night's sleep for a while.
- Assaulting the Progeny's stronghold last makes Whisper realize something very bad is going to happen when he detects a power spike and is able to see the roof glowing purple all the way from the base.
- An archived recording between a human and an alien councillor reveals that the gene clinics did in fact use the.. byproducts for ADVENT burger. It also reveals that the clinics themselves are viewed as nightmare fuel by humanity In-Universe, who treat them, and their technology, like present-day humanity treats the concentration camps of World War 2 - despite all the good that the technology in them could do in the right hands, humanity simply considers them reminders of a horror too heinous to let slip into memory.
