Anime & Manga
  • UFO Robo Grendizer:
    • Go Nagai's manga chapter 5—"Challenge of the Demon": The psychotic Barados is the worst of the Vegan commanders. When attacking Planet Fleed, Barados built a mountain out of the civilian dead while abducting the women and children. Barados used them as hostages to get Planet Fleed to turn over their best weapons and proceeded to "release" them—by dropping them down miles to shatter upon the ground. Upon taking command of the invasion upon Earth, Barados targets civilians to abduct and ties them to his own mecha when engaging Grendizer, killing several just to prove a point and intending on killing them all to secure his victory.
    • Gosaku Ota's manga: King Vega, ruler of the Vegan forces, is a brutal conqueror who abandoned most of his people to die on their doomed homeworld, deeming them unworthy of rescue. Conquering world after world, Vega had Planet Fleed annihilated, with the people massacred, converted into Cannon Fodder soldiers, or having the women sent to "service" Vegan officers. On Earth, Vega commands widespread destruction from his forces, and when he takes command, intends to set off every nuke in the world to exterminate all life on the planet, something which horrifies even other Vegan commanders like the ruthless Zuril.
  • God Mazinger manga, by Go Nagai: Prince Eldo is the prince of the brutal alien Dragonia Empire and son of the Golden King Dorado. Introduced saving a girl from cannibal rapists, Eldo brings her to his castle where he strips her naked before using a machine to turn her into a cat-human hybrid to be his pet. Unwilling to use the mask of his father and persuaded by his assistant, Eldo decides to end the war between Dragonia and Mu quickly and breaks the only rule given by his father. Unleashing the alien army the Megalo, Dragonia's forbidden weapons, Eldo uses the chemical, atomic and laser weapons on the Mu's army while enjoying the massacre, and congratulating himself for it before trying to capture the Princess Aila Mu to turn her into his captive. Lacking his father's desire to save his people, Eldo is called out on his actions by the former, who is horrified at his actions.
  • Shin Mazinger Zero: The Juzo Kabuto of the second timeline—despite his short appearance—is responsible for the events of the series. An egomaniacal scientist and grandfather of Koji Kabuto that got information from a version of himself of an alternate future, Juzo Kabuto betrays his family and creates the Mazinger to use it in a war of conquest against the entire world, murdering entire armies and destroying cities until all world leaders bow to him. Bored with his victory and frustrated after realizing that his Mazinger wasn't the most powerful version of it that could exist, Juzo burns the world leaders with the Mazinger despite their surrender and orders Minerva X to reset the timeline and share his scientific developments across the world in order to create an actual challenge for himself in another timeline, leading to the rise of Dr. Hell and creating a cycle of tragedy where the world would be destroyed in multiple ways for either Dr. Hell's ambition or the Mazinger's massive power.
  • Devilman vs. Hades chapters 5-6, by Go Nagai & Team Moon: In this non-canon continuation of the original Devilman manga, Jinmen is even more vile. Desiring revenge on Akira for killing him, Jinmen makes a deal with Hades, offering his services in exchange for chance of killing Akira. Eventually devouring the souls of Akira's entire hometown, Jinmen trapped them on his shell in his own version of the city, where they can never die. Luring Akira there and tormenting him with the sight of Miki's severed head, Jinmen begins to destroy parts of the town in hopes of killing Akira, torturing all its residents, while proudly intending to keep them as his own playthings to torture for all eternity.
  • Mazinkaiser SKL: Kiba is the leader of Kiba Army who loves to fight. He endlessly engages war with Garan and Alia on the Machine Island by producing mechs with the Gravity Curtain, keep producing so much that it exhausted the Gravity Curtain and caused it to begin to overload. Having shown to capture woman from Alia's force for sexual purposes, Kiba tries to capture even more for this purpose. After getting defeated once, Kiba begins to become more obsessed with destroying the Mazinkasier SKL and murdered Garan's right-hand woman Himiko to know the location of the mech Iron Kaiser to be able to destroy the Mazinkasier SKL. Despite being told that his usage of Iron Kaiser would lead to meltdown of the Gravity Curtain and destroy the planet, Kiba flat out admitted that he didn't care, and would put the entire world at risk just for his vengeance against Ryo and Ken, the pilots of Mazinkasier SKL.
