• This Deleted Scene, adapted into this Avengers reaction trailer, has had a few re-edits to make the emotions react to other things, such as Five Nights at Freddy's.
• "A new core memory!"^ExplanationUsing the film's "core memory" concept when talking about moments that memers can't or don't want to forget.
• This joke that originated on Tumblr, about the film's concept taking Pixar's general "What if [X] had feelings/were people" mold up to eleven:

• After Riley and her mom go to the less than stellar pizza place that is Yeast of Eden, many YouTube viewers can be seen responding with comments asking why they didn't just go to Pizza Planet instead.

• On the lighter side, a few people confused this song with a similarly-named one from Peppa Pig.
• Also on Tumblr, it's even more popular to edit the trailer's "Do you ever look at someone and wonder, what is going on inside their head?" and replace the emotions in Riley's mom with something else, such as Hotel Mario.
• "Inside Out predicted It: Chapter Two".^Explanation There is a scene in the movie where Fear freaks out after watching Riley's dream about a Monster Clown. Four years later, his voice actor, Bill Hader would later go on play adult Richie in It: Chapter Two, a movie that is about a Monster Clown. It didn't take long for people to joke that Inside Out predicted It: Chapter Two.
• "I was in a band." ^note  A widely-circulated Vine video begins with Mr. Anderson saying that line in Riley's First Date? before cutting to a clip of the Village People's music video for "Y.M.C.A.", focusing specifically on Randy Jones (the cowboy), who bears a strong resemblance to Mr. Anderson.
