• Adit & Sopo Jarwo:
  • Dennis beban.^Explanation Indonesian for "Dennis is a burden". People uses it to mock Dennis's tendency to rely on Adit for seemingly everything. A rather popular version is adding voiceover calling out Dennis in clips of Dennis doing that.
    • Adit hanyalah alat.^Explanation Indonesian for "Adit is just a tool". People who memes the above extrapolate that Dennis is fully aware that he is relying on Adit and makes jokes that he is an evil mastermind who treats Adit like a tool.
• Agent Ali: Kita Jaga Kita ^Explanation The title for one of The Movie's soundtracks, which means "We take care of our own." In the 2019 film, it's from the perspective of the slum citizens, the Pinggiran, who must fend for themselves. In March 2020, the song became a theme for Malaysians fighting against the COVID-19 Pandemic, with a hashtag and website being born out of the phrase, as well as variations thereof. The official music video and the short "Misi: Juang" (Mission: Fight), which features a score version of the song, both commemorate those fighting against the virus.
• Prince Youle/Noah's strange Chinese accent in the original live-action Balala the Fairies series, one example being "yu ni wu guan" ("it's none of your matter") being Malapropered into ""yu nü wu gua" (literally "rain woman no melon").
• BoBoiBoy: Rizal bin Ismail ^Explanation In 2019, a radio show host guessed BoBoiBoy's real name to be Rizal bin Ismail, and the name became an inside joke among the fandom to the extent that some really did think that was his real name.
• The entirety of Motu Patlu became a meme in the West circa 2016, but in particular:
  • To celebrate Teacher's Day, Nickelodeon India, which airs Motu Patlu, created a commercial that features Chotu teaching Motu, Patlu, and other Nick India mainstays (Gattu, Battu, Ninja Hattori, and Kenichi) how to do the "dab". This commercial got subjected to a bunch of "but every time they say X, Y happens" edits, and the line "Present!", said by the characters Chotu is teaching as he's taking attendance, became a meme as well.
  • People often joke about Motu Patlu being the "best anime ever".
• Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf:
  • "Oxygen-Breathing Goat" and "Pleasant Goat" sound similar in Chinese, so people often use this to poke fun at the show.
  • "Weslie, get in the robot!" is a meme within the (miniscule) English community. One fan asked the English voice actor of Mr. Slowy to say the line. Ever since then, it's been a meme to combine Pleasant Goat and Evangelion.
  • In a fan edit, Sparky asks why Weslie hasn't come back, and then Paddi says that Weslie was eaten by Wolffy and he's prepared a funeral wreath for him. Then the edit cuts to the song "Buttercup" by Jack Stauber and shows Paddi and Sparky in black-and-white, with question marks. This edit became really popular, inspiring others to make similar edits for both Pleasant Goat and other shows.
  • Due to it having a prominent focus on cats and dogs, The Season Towns resulted in the meme quote "We have come to the town of dogs and cats again", referencing a line from the theme song of a previous season, Against the Dark Force (specifically "We come to a new world/This is a mysterious place for cats"), which also features dogs and cats as characters.
• Pororo the Little Penguin:
  • Glasses Loopy Plushie^Explanation In December 2023, a Loopy plushie with big glasses and a thin wig went viral for resembling a stereotypical Asian nerd girl.
• Upin & Ipin:
  • Dua Seringgit^Explanation "Dua Seringgit" stands for two piece for 1 ringgit, which is the common price for Mail's goods. It's almost always used by him that it's essentially his Catchphrase. Naturally, the fanbase ran wild with it.
  • CANCEL FIZI/FIZI TAK ADE AKHLAK^Explanation Thanks to his insensitive remark that there are no paradise for motherless orphans which ended up dousing the situation for both of the twins and Kak Ros in Eid Fitr Special in 2020, Fizi receives a flak for his actions to the point that he issued an apology to the twin that framed like he's apologizing to the entire viewerbase. An effort to defame and cancel Fizi as a character for his actions even to this day, especially after some of her more insensitive remarks from past episodes come to light, to the point of calling him a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing. Naturally, jokes about obscuring his face and censoring his name akin to an offensive slur starts appearing.
  • The teaser image of an episode shows the twins with hair◊, which fans have been pointing fun at and made haircut variations for the twins^Explanation Said episode is actually just the twins daydreaming again about having hair from the point of Fizi bragging off his hairstyle and belittling the twins for having no hair. After the dream sequence ends, the twins were given wigs with roughly similar design of what they dreamt off, but they discarded it because the other kids doesn't like them without their signature bald cut.
  • "Macam tak betul je budak ni"^Explanation Lim's quotable line upon seeing Rajoo talking to his cow in the Geng movie; Malay for "There is something wrong with this kid." Often used as a reaction meme for anything suspicious.
  • "Wuih, mengerikan!"^Explanation The start of Tok Dalang's description of the Durian Ghost; Malay for "It's horrifying!" Used by memers to describe anything they think is scary, jokingly or not. Some use Tok Dalang's full description if they want to describe it even further.
