SiIvaGunner often themes all of their "rips" around a special occasion for a day.

  • Every video posted on April 20th, 2016 (or 04-20-16) had something to do with "The Next Episode" or other weed-related songs like "Because I Got High". They were soon compiled on their own album.
  • Every video posted on May 8th (Mothers' Day) was a "rip" of a song from the Mother series. They were also compiled onto their own album.
  • May 22nd featured rips involving the music from Namco games in honor of Pac-Man's 36th anniversary, which were then compiled onto their own album the day after.
  • July 11, 2016 featured several rips themed around Nintendo games that Satoru Iwata contributed to (mainly EarthBound, which he notably reprogrammed from scratch when it was stuck in a very buggy and poorly-coded state), to mark the one-year anniversary of his death from a bile duct growth. "Please read the channel description" was replaced with "Please understand the channel description" in the description of these rips.
  • July 15, 2016 featured rips with PSY's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the former's release date. A similar thing happened on that date in 2017 as well, partly because of the song's fifth anniversary and partly to mark the fact that it was no longer the most-viewed video on YouTube.
  • July 22, 2016 featured a glut of Sonic the Hedgehog rips in celebration of the franchise's 25th anniversary; a good number of these rips were based around SEGA's celebratory livestream and its announcements of Sonic Mania and the then-untitled Sonic Forces.
  • July 28, 2016 featured a large number of rips with Soulja Boy to commemorate the rapper's birthday.
  • September 7, 2016 (and again the following year) had a period of time devoted to rips referencing Brazilian culture/memes to celebrate the country's Independence Day.
  • September 11, 2016 saw numerous rips with 9/11 jokes, a good number of which involved The Jetsons (making their long-awaited SiIvaGunner debut) destroying the Twin Towers. Due to backlash, all of the 9/11 rips were quietly removed soon after uploading but reuploaded on Flustered Fernando. They seem to have learned their lesson, as in lieu of another 9/11 event the next year they instead uploaded a two-hour joke Grand Dad fusion collab while Fernando continued to upload 9/11 rips.
  • September 12, 2016 was spent celebrating the birthday of Kotori Minami from Love Live! (primarily via rips related to birdsexplanation in some manner).
  • September 13, 2016 saw numerous rips of Mario games - including eleven different Slider rips - all to celebrate Super Mario Bros' 31st anniversary.
  • September 15, 2016 seemed to deliberately be a Mother theme day for the first anniversary of Undertale, as a reference to Toby Fox's inspiration and a soft snub of the game itself... Or Matpat's infamous "Sans is Ness" theory. This changed at the end of the day, where no fewer than 40 Undertale rips were released all at once.
  • September 19 was International Talk Like a Pirate Day, so the entire channel was decked out in pirate lingo: Long John SiIvaGunner uploaded pirate-themed "shanties" for the whole day.
  • September 30th (the anniversary of the premiere of The Flintstones) saw the announcement that the channel was ending.
  • January 17th saw the channel celebrating Hanayo Koizumi's birthday. Later however, the banner art was changed to celebrate Michelle Obama's birthday too.
  • April 13, 2017 is the eight year anniversary of Homestuck, which Silva marked with the rip of "Epona's Song (Extended Mix)", which is a remix of the Homestuck song "Horschestra". Both the rip and the original song are 4 minutes, 13 seconds long.
  • April 24, 2017 was the birthday of one of the biggest channel contributors, Chaze the Chat. Because of this, the channel saw an upsurge of Maroon 5 rips, which is Chaze's favorite band.
  • June 17, 2017 is the first anniversary of the Reboot arc, and the channel celebrates it by creating an alternate ending to the arc where Chad Warden takes over the channel and kills Snow Halation, the Voice, and even SiIva himself. All the rips uploaded on that day, as a consequence, involved "chicken and chips". At the end of the day, Wood Man comes out to confess that the timeline was "for funsies" and brings the channel to its current state.
  • June 18, 2017 is the one-year anniversary of the "Puzzle Room" fiasco, and rips uploaded on that day were related to the incident in one way or another (often by using the soundfont or Carlito's "Russkij Pusskij", which was linked to from the original Puzzle Room video), or referenced Russian culture. Here is an explanation of "Puzzle Room". And yes, it is safe.
  • June 21, 2017 is the first anniversary of the upload of "Main Theme - Mighty No. 9", which was really mm2wood, an intentionally bad midi of Wood Man's theme (at the end, there is a virus warning, which later turned out to be Wood Man). This also makes this day Wood Man's first birthday. Anyway, SiIva marked the milestone by having Wood Man take over the channel again, and all of the rips uploaded on that day incorporated the midi, culminating in an epic "Fusion Collab" depicting mm2wood in dfferent soundfonts (with fitting logos). Many rips also used MidiJam, the musical program that is often associated with mm2wood. More info on mm2wood here. The stunt was repeated (though with fewer songs) on June 21, 2018.
  • On June 29, 2017, Santana took over the channel and every rip uploaded on that day incorporated their song "Smooth" in some way. This stunt was done to mark the anniversary of the song's release.
  • On July 18, 2017, the anniversary of Solid STRGG asking Leslie Jones via Twitter to "buy mgs2", a rip from New Ghostbusters 2note  explaining the incident in detail, along with its significance to Silva, was uploaded.
  • August 31, 2017 was devoted to Hatsune Miku-related rips to mark her 10th birthday. These were compiled onto an album.
  • September 2, 2017 was the third anniversary of the original "You Know I Had to Do It to Em" image. To mark it, this rip, in which the guy in the image is prominently featured (not in the song itself, which is just Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" in the Wii Shop soundfont), was uploaded.
  • September 9, 2017 had a twofer. In addition to having a few Touhou Project-related rips (9/9 or a reference to the ⑨ ball), they also marked the anniversary of the Dreamcast by uploading the console's startup jingle (which turns into mm2wood).
  • On the "21st night of September" 2017, several rips involving "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire were uploaded.
  • On September 23, 2017, all the rips uploaded involved "Coltrane changes" to mark the birthday of its namesake, John Coltrane. The normal description was changed to "Please read the channel description in 30 seconds. Or not." in reference to the "Augmented Triad Face", a minor meme on the channel.
  • On the 21st anniversary of Space Jam, this Stylistic Suck video was uploaded.
  • On November 17, 2017, the 11th anniversary of Michael Richards’s racist rant at a Laugh Factory comedy club (why they felt the need to celebrate it is unknown), the rips were all related to the Seinfeld theme. Because this is a common Flustered Fernando joke, a few rips were uploaded there, too.
  • April 17, 2018 was Tax Day and... you can probably guess what happened next.
  • As a break from the previous two celebrations, September 11, 2018 had rips celebrating Super Mario Maker's third anniversary.
  • The "We Are The Crystal Gems" Fusion Collab was released on June 9th, 2018, Pride Day, in reference to the show's large amount of LGBT representation.
  • October 1, 2018 saw an influx of Team Fortress 2 Rips as a reference to "OKTOBER FIRST", a Voice Clip Song version of "Because Princess Inada is Scolding Me". As a bonus, the first rip uploaded on that day was a remix of "OKTOBER FIRST", where the Medic's sounds were mixed to a remix of the same track used in that video, and was advertised as the original version of that track.
  • November 30, 2018, a day dedicated to rips of PSY songs, was the anniversary of "DADDY".
  • May 4, 2019 subverted everyone's expectations by celebrating the 20th anniversary of Smash Mouth's "All Star" instead of Star Wars Day (although the first rip was "All Star" in style of the Star Wars theme).
  • May 29, 2019 marked the 100th anniversary of the premiere of The Rite of Spring, and it was also the release date of Time Gate - Chrono Trigger which set Stravinsky's entire score to a medley of video game soundfonts.
  • Father's Day 2019 was dedicated to rips involving Classic Rock, AKA "Dadrock".
  • June 19th, 2020 saw the channel post nothing but golf-related rips. This is an allusion to The Last of Us Part II, which came out that day and features a scene where a character is beaten to death with a golf club. (It had previously been spoiled as part of a significant Content Leak in April, which resulted in that scene in particular spreading throughout the Internet well before the game was released.)
  • August 15th, 2020 was the 3-year anniversary of Sonic Mania, so the rips were dedicated to it as well as Totino's Pizza Rolls, a Running Gag associated with Sonic Mania. These rips, along with the rest of the ripped soundtrack of Mania were not only compiled onto their own album but also a Game Mod that replaces the original OST of ''Mania'' with their ripped counterparts.
  • The Phineas and Ferb takeover event on August 28, 2020 (which was extended with a Doofenshmirtz takeover the following day) coincided with the release of Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe on Disney+.
  • September 12th, 2020, also known as "The Good Ol' Day after 9/11", featured Sundowner, as well as rips of invincibility themesnote  and songs from Revengeance. Red Sun - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance also features "wonder zone", and is capped off with a "chun chun" from Kotori Minami, whose birthday also falls on September 12.
  • A series of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic rips were uploaded on October 10, 2020 to commemorate the show's tenth anniversary.
  • A bunch of rips with Russia-inspired memes, including "Song for Denise" (from the "Wide Putin" meme), the Tetris theme, and "SUPER GAY PUTIN", were made during the Vladimir Putin takeover on December 12th 2020, Russia's Constitution Day.
  • "Final Jeopardy (Original Mix)" was uploaded on January 8, 2021. That same day was the airdate of the final episode of Jeopardy! featuring longtime host Alex Trebek, who had died the previous year.
  • Almost all rips uploaded on April 1st, 2021 were from Super Mario games, except that every reference to Mario was removed from the thumbnails and the title. This was in reference to Super Mario 3D All-Stars' discontinuation and Super Mario Bros. 35's shut down. Normal uploads resumed on April 4th, 2021, which happened to also be Easter.
  • "Abyssal Time" and "Silver Bullet" were released on June 20th, the birthday of hololive’s Gawr Gura, with the rips being based on her Image Song, Reflect.
  • "Staff Roll (Anniversary Version) - Super Mario 64" is as its name implies—it released on June 23, 2021, the 25th anniversary of Super Mario 64.
  • The "Space Jam Charity SLAM!", originally intended for the 2020 SummerFes, finally came to be on July 17, 2021, one day after the release of Space Jam: A New Legacy.
  • On August 24th 2021, the 25th anniversary of Valve Corporation, the channel was taken over by Gabe Newell.
  • On September 21st 2021, we got "Memory Test (Beta Mix) - Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!" which is a mashup of the obvious joke, "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire, with "It's just a burning memory" from Everywhere at the End of Time. As many commenters pointed out, September 21st is World Alzheimer's Day.
  • At the end of September 2022, several rips featured the Green Day song "Wake Me Up When September Ends."
  • February 13th, 2023 saw the birthday of Felipe Barão, one of the members of the Brazilian electronic forró band Os Barões da Pisadinha, and the channel celebrated it with a three day-long uploads of electronic forró-style arrangements featuring Os Barões da Pisadinha's signature drum riff, culminating with the release of Os Barões da Qualidade, an album dedicated to rips uploaded during this period, in February 16.
  • A Puyo Puyo-themed event with Puyo Puyo music rips took place on February 4th, 2024 (2/4/24). February 4th is designated as "Puyo Day" because 24 is an Arc Number in Puyo Puyo, due to it being the Goroawase Number for "Puyo".
  • On February 29, 2024, to celebrate the Leap Year, we got 80+ rips of the Leap Frog Word Whammer Fridge Phonics Set, each one a gag on the three-letter word that was made.
