- In Advance Wars, Eagle expresses his surprise when Sami, who has just beaten his whole army, turns out to be female.
- One of the pre-recorded taunts in Age of Empires II is "Oh, you just got beaten by a girl."
- Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles:
- In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, this is not Played for Laughs. Lyon laments that he's so much of a Non-Action Guy that he not only was unable to defeat his Childhood Friend Ephraim(who admittedly is a talented warrior), but also Ephraim's sister Eirika, who was less experienced than Ephraim. This fuels his feelings of insecurity, which leads to him using the Demon King's power and all the tragedy that results in the game.
- Golden Sun: The Lost Age starts with Jenna, Kraden and Alex coming out of Venus Lighthouse only to be greeted by ruffians and Tolbi's military. Alex dispatches the soldiers with ease and tells Jenna and Kraden to go to the meeting point while he cleans up. On their way there, they find a lone ruffian who revels in the fact that Alex is not with them anymore, so he can proceed to trash them. Too bad Jenna has significantly better stats than him, and can even oneshot him if she uses Fume.Ruffian: [while lying on the ground] Ugggh. I can't believe I got beaten by a girl...
- League of Legends: Annie's taunt invokes this: "Beaten by a little girl... Hah!"
- In Lollipop Chainsaw, when Juliet Starling defeats Vikke in a boss battle, Vikke has a Villainous Breakdown and screams, "Impossible! I can't be beaten by a little girl! I'm a warrior!"
- In The Magic Circle, Maze Evalyn has her "chorus of the damned", which is a collection of recordings of people raging at being beaten by her. Many of them became even more angry and embarrassed when they realized that she was a girl.
- Seedle from Makai Kingdom was a famous samurai in life, and died when a woman stabbed him while he was trying to rape her. He really hasn't gotten over it, especially since said woman was burned as a witch for killing him and ended up in the Netherworld alongside him, eventually becoming one of his rivals.
- In BioWare's original Neverwinter Nights game series, one of the female player character's voice options says, in a stentorian fashion, "Prepare to be beaten by a girl!"
- Princess Maker: In Refine, for some of the competition in the Martial Arts Tournament, although, that might be also because, depending on what year the tournament takes place, they lost to a 10-year-old:
