Life Is Strange is a series where most characters are good people or show good qualities, but these characters are the exceptions.

  • Life Is Strange
    • Sean Prescott is a repugnant Loan Shark who builds up billions while ruining Arcadia Bay's economy to buy land cheap and line his own pockets, bribing officials to keep them out of his way. Psychologically abusive of his son Nathan, Prescott also bankrolls the perverse Big Bad Mark Jefferson and, when he appears in the game's prequel, berates Nathan for his mental issues in public without regard for his dignity. A greedy, repulsive man, Prescott is rightfully hated by everyone in town.
    • Mark Jefferson initially appears to be a charming and friendly teacher but is revealed to be the the mastermind behind the Dark Room — his chamber where he takes the girls he has drugged and kidnapped for torture and occasional murder for the sake of his art. He is also an emotional manipulator, using vulnerable people like Nathan Prescott and Kate Marsh for his own gain, and depending on your actions, he can kill up to six people, many of whom are Max's friends. While most of the other antagonistic characters are shown to have depths, Mark Jefferson is simply a sadist.
    • Logan Robertson, while not as repulsive as Sean Prescott or Mark Jefferson, is still a nasty piece of work. He's shown throughout to be a rude, sexist jock who can be seen bullying Daniel DaCosta, and ditched his girlfriend Dana after getting her pregnant. While he does write her an apologetic letter, he's later shown to have not learned his lesson, as he drunkenly hits on Max, Victoria, and Taylor at the Vortex Club party. Max can then call him out on his behavior.
  • Life Is Strange: Before the Storm:
    • Damon Merrick is a brutal gangster. Having his hands in drugs, dogfighting, murder, and sexual assault, Damon spends the game attacking and attempting to murder Chloe and her friends, leaving them with brutal injuries, even assaulting his former friend Frank, and kidnapping Sarah on behalf of the more sympathetic James Amber to torture her.
    • Eliot Hampden, though seemingly nice, reveals himself to be a creepy and obsessive Stalker with a Crush. He writes "love poems" in which he fantasizes about killing Chloe if she rejects him. Eventually, he snaps and corners Chloe in Rachel's house; there he declares he is entitled to Chloe and her love because he "was there for her" when Max left and tries to emotionally manipulate and gaslight her against Rachel, before potentially trying to force himself on her.
  • Life Is Strange 2 has the police as the primary antagonists, but since most of them are just doing their jobs, these Arc Villains serve to be loathsome in their place:
    • Brett Vaughun Foster, the Starter Villain and neighbor to the Diaz brothers, establishes himself as a racist and ableist bully in the short amount of time he appears. One encounter leads to an altercation with Sean; this sets off Officer Matthews showing up on the scene and shooting Esteban Diaz, in turn getting himself accidentally killed by Daniel. The subsequent events of the game, and the Diaz brothers' lives going in a downward spiral, are all the result of Brett harassing the brothers.
    • Hank Stamper is the Arc Villain of Episode 1: Roads. The owner of a local gas station that Sean and Daniel stop at, Hank confronts them and accuses them of stealing, regardless of if they did, then smacks Daniel and kidnaps Sean. While holding Sean captive and planning to turn them both in to the police, he reveals himself to be a Mexican-hating racist. Despite all this, he is respected by the community and is treated as a victim of the Diaz brothers.
    • Lisbeth Fischer is the Arc Villain of Episode 4: Faith. The Reverend Mother of Haven Point, Lisbeth founded the group after being kicked out of church for her extreme viewpoints. Lisbeth exploits the troubled youth Nicholas and the runaway Daniel into becoming members. She tried to send Jacob to a conversion therapy camp, and is endangering his pneumonic little sister Sarah Lee by refusing her medicine in favor of faith healing — despite having a cabinet full of pills herself. She finally orders Nicholas to beat and kill Sean, and when Daniel's powers set the church on fire, she tries to trap everyone inside. Despite her preachings, Lisbeth Fischer is a cult leader who only seeks to use Daniel to get more donations.
    • Chad Michaels, also appearing in Faith, only appears in one scene, but is a vicious and racist hillbilly who brags about harassing minorities. He catches Sean on his property, and begins to harass and humiliate him, tries to force him to sing, and denounces America as his country. Meanwhile, his more passive friend Mike is too spinless to really do anything, despite being put off by Chad. Should Sean be defiant, Chad will viciously beat Sean senseless before he flees.
  • Life Is Strange: True Colors: The Big Bad, Jed Lucan, is Affably Evil and ridden with guilt, so these Greater Scope Villains serve to be hated instead:
    • The Typhon Mining Corporation as a whole is the organization responsible for the events of the game. A mining company with zero regard for safety, they ended up causing an accident that killed multiple people, including Alex's father, then in the process of covering it up, also caused the death of Alex's brother Gabe. Typhon does everything in their power to prevent others from investigating what happened, such as threatening Deputy Pike and threatening Alex with jail unless she agrees to keep what she learned of them a secret.
    • Leena Clark is a superior of Typhon Mining who represents all their worst qualities. A callous sociopath, Leena was one of the people behind the detonation coverup that killed Gabe. She pressured Diane Jacobs into going through with the detonation by threatening her job should she delay it, uncaring that innocents, including a child, were in the blast radius. When Diane replied via email, outraged that she ended up killing an innocent man, Leena dismissed it as an "unavoidable accident".
