MST3kII
is a fan-written continuation of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 series, poking fun at the most awful fanfics or original work on the net. The series features Mike Nelson and his robot pals Crow and Tom Servo, who have been inexplicably launched into space again.
Tropes contained in MST3kII:
- The Bad Guy Wins: My Immortal finally succeeds in breaking the group. Thankfully, Joel had heard about the fic back before the original MST3K and had programmed Crow to contact him when it came up so he could stop it.
- The Bus Came Back: Dr. Erhardt is back and is the one running the experiments. His long absence is explained as him having to go to the bathroom and having a very shy bladder.
- Darker and Edgier: Compared to the original series, the characters are much more vindictive and angry at being stuck in space. Their reaction to the bad fics range from mild frustration to homicidal.
- Dead Fic: Hasn't been updated since August 6, 2016. (The author forgot the login to the original account).
