- "Hey, you got eliminated, idiot. You can stop with the act." - Player 250note Thinking 324 is just being dramatic for a laugh, 250 tries to tell him to stop the act and leave, only for 324 to cough up blood. 250 attempts to run, only for his movement to be detected, causing him to get shot as well.
- "Let's stop. I'm too tired. I'm too tired to go on. Stop arguing with me. Let's end this." - Gi-hun's mother in her last scene alivenote She's revealed to have died of her diabetes some time later while Gi-hun was participating in the game. - "Then what do I have to do?" - Player 111/Byeong-ginote Upon his underground organ harvesting operation being found by the Front Man, 111 is shot dead and his body is hung up in the main hall for everyone else to see as a deterrent for any attempting to gain an unfair advantage in the games.

Sang-woo!" - Player 199/Ali Abdulnote Sang-Woo sends him on a wild goose chase to try and count the players so that the two can split up, challenge them to games and both survive. After doing so, Sang-Woo steals Ali's marbles, replaces them with pebbles from a nearby planter and hands the real marbles to a guard, leaving Ali to be shot.
- "Kang Sae-byeok! Thank you... for playing with me!" - Player 240/Ji-yeongnote Ji-yeong deliberately throws the game of marbles she was having with Sae-byeok, believing that Sae-byeok had more to live for than her. To his credit, the guard does pause to let her say goodbye before doing his job.
- "How can you call yourselves human?! How many of you can continue with this insanity?! Just for the money?! You just had to kill the ones that you were the closest to at this place and you're good with that?! Just to get that money?!" - Player 069 note Shortly before his suicide after Sang-woo's "The Reason You Suck" Speech and the guilt caused by indirectly killing his wife.
- "I'll go. I'll go, okay? I'll go. I'll go right now." - Player 096note After realising he's first to go on the Glass Stepping Stones game (and therefore, most likely to die), 96 begins wasting time. He says this quote to Deok-Su to appease him after the latter threatens to push him, and proceeds to step on the wrong tile after getting one right.
- "That's... a 1-in-32,768 chance... (laughs under his breath) Damn it." - Player 062note Being a math teacher, 62 is able to quickly calculate his odds of surviving the Glass Stepping Stones game. Realising it's useless, he sprints across three correct tiles and falls on the fourth.
- "Thank you. God bless me today!" - Player 244note During Glass Stepping Stones, 244 starts stalling against the clock by praying when he's at the front. The man behind him attempts to push him off to keep the line running, but is thrown to his death instead. 244 continues praying, resulting in 407 immediately shoving him to his death.
- "I might know which one of these is the stronger glass. I'm pretty sure it's in the color." - Player 407note 407 desperately tries to figure out a way to determine which of the glass stepping stones are tempered. He wrongly guesses that it's in the color and promptly chooses the wrong step.
- "Damn it, you'd better go! Please, just go on!" - Player 322note After trying and failing to convince Deok-Su to take responsibility as the man at the front of the line, Mi-Nyeo pushes him into Deok-Su herself so she can get to him. Being the stronger man, Deok-Su throws 322 off the edge of the glass stepping stones, rather than through the next tile
- "Deok-su... I need you to know... you've got such a tiny dick!" - Player 212/Han Mi-nyeonote With Deok-su in her grasp, Mi-nyeo makes one last cheap shot at the gangster before leaning back, pulling both of them to their deaths.
- "You goddamn bitch!" - Player 101/Jang Deok-sunote Deok-su's reaction to the above situation.
- "I can't tell what it is." - Player 017note When the Front Man shuts off the lights in the Glass Stepping Stones game after noticing that 017 can see which glass is tempered, 017 begins wasting the remainder of the time, prompting Sang-Woo to choose for him, throwing him through the wrong panel and revealing the rest of the path to the remaining contestants.
- "Brother... why?" - Hwang Jun-honote The Front Man reveals himself as Jun-ho's long-lost brother at the edge of a cliff-face, before shooting him in the shoulder. Jun-ho falls into the sea, though some people believe that due to the non-fatal location he was hit in, as well as the fact that they Never Found the Body, he is actually still alive.
- "Mister... I think I wanna go. I'd like to go home now." - Player 067/Kang Sae-byeoknote As she begins to lose consciousness from a fatal shrapnel wound acquired in the fifth game, Gi-Hun leaves her side to get help, only for Sang-Woo to kill her with a steak knife to avoid a majority vote to leave the competition.
- "Gi-hun... My mother, go help her. You have to help her." - Player 218/Cho Sang-woonote Sang-Woo is beaten in the ultimate Squid Game, but Gi-Hun spares him, requesting for them both to leave the competition empty-handed so that no one else has to die. In response, Sang-Woo drives Gi-Hun's knife into his neck so that Gi-Hun can keep the money and delivers this as his last request.
- "You asked why I let you live. By joining and playing with you... I got that chance to... feel again. Thanks to you, I got to remember all these things that I had forgotten long ago. It had been such a long time... since I... was able to have that much fun." - Player 001/The Host/Oh Il-namnote After losing a bet on whether a homeless man will receive aid by midnight, Il-Nam passes from his tumor immediately.
